The only thing you might have missed is that when B-15 and Mobius were commenting on He Who Remains variants at the end and Mobius was referring to the 616 Adjacent Realm where one of the variants caused some trouble - he was referring to Antman: QuantumMania.
A popular fan theory is that the Time Stone in each reality are green explicitly BECAUSE of Loki "powering" all of the infinite timelines. Additionally, Loki is now second in power ONLY to the One Above All, and then only just barely. He can make, remake, or unmake entire universes with a thought. Though he seems trapped at the End of Time maintaining all the branches, the fact is that he can almost certainly use his powers to manifest an illusory avatar anywhere or anywhen he wishes. And now that time doesn't mean anything to him, he likely has learned Sylvie's Enchantment power as well, and can essentially possess any of his variants at-will, if not others. To top it off, the TVA now has HWRs TemPad, which is capable of opening a door to Loki's Throne. And there are other ways of reaching the End of Time as well. So, in truth, Loki won't really wind up alone. But, it's still not going to be a particularly pleasant existence. It's also highly probable that the Watchers serve Loki. In Star Wars terms...the TVA (now) is the Republic, and Watchers are in relation basically like Jedi. With regard to the greater multiverse, anyway.
For anyone wondering, the apparent "paradox" of Timely and O.B. both writing the first handbook isn't actually a bootstrap paradox. Timely was originally a genius who was too far ahead of his own time. His ideas were sound, but there wasn't the knowledge or technology to develop them. In the 1990s, a professor at Cal-Tech and aspiring writer, A.D. Doug, stumbled across what few writings Timely had made in his life. Those writings led Doug to eventually develop the first extremely crude TemPad-like device, which he used to go visit Timely personally. In their conversations, Timely's ideas were further refined with Doug's knowledge of the future. Next go-round, the next Doug finds THOSE writings, and makes a slightly better TemPad, slightly earlier. And again goes to see Timely in person. And that begins the loop. Continuously feeding itself and snowballing into what would eventually become what we see in the show. HWR sent Renslayer with a copy of the handbook as insurance against the loop breaking. But now none of it happens. Doug never goes back. Timely never gets a handbook. The existing TVA and multiverse are now completely severed from everything that was before. And since Loki is now powering everything, there is no sacred timeline or anything. The Kangs aren't really a threat anymore. They're dangerous, and they can do a lot of damage. But they can't potentially end existence anymore. Loki can literally erase them with a thought. He doesn't do it, because he got a chance to change. To him...everyone deserves that chance. The future is wide open...and everyone deserves the opportunity. That's why the Watchers are forbidden from interfering, except in situations that are explicit threats to the multiverse as a whole...such as Infinity Ultron.
When we see Loki sitting on his throne is a bitter sweet ending, I literally wanted to clap in my living room. It woul've been awesome to see it in the theater.
Thing was, he was afraid to be alone. That’s why Loki tried to find a way to save TVA. Now he’s not afraid to be alone or maybe he is but sacrificed himself for the greater good for his friends😢. Bittersweet.
I felt like it was an interesting creative choice. My mythology brain was always going “oh it’s Loki and they talking about branches when they gonna introduce the tree” but I didn’t think they’d like… create it. I thought it would be something he destroyed kinda ragnirockesk lol it was definitely weird
I'm an emotional watcher but I never expected to cry over Loki. And yet I SOBBED at the end. What a beautiful, tragically perfect ending for his character arc.
Loki turned the Loom which was meant to trim branches from the Multiverse to only keep on the "Sacred Timeline" into Yggdrasil the Norse Tree of Life which now allows those branches to grow. He found his glorious purpose, but it comes at a burden as Mobius said Loki can never leave the tree never leave his throne or it will collapse and destroy the Multiverse.
Unless the time slipping changed something (it clearly made him immune to the spaghetti thing cuz otherwise anyone could have destroyed the loom and HWR wouldn't have allowed that), then isn't he going to die after a few thousand years?
generally yes but he can see them in time threads and i would not be surprised if later they ( marvel) show him able to project himself into different timelines
His character arc through the short two seasons is amazing. From bad guy in Avengers, joke in Thor, this series has fleshed out the character so much. Empathy, purpose and benevolence not the key words you usually see with Loki. Opens a world(tree) of probabilities for future films.
Diamond Dave said it. Loki did not want to be alone and his arc is SO BIG he sacrificed for his friends because he didn't want the glory, he wanted his friends to live. That last scene with him, I picture him watching his friends have lives and smiling. Also, Loki is over, there will be no more Loki after this
Loki becoming the new "Loom" is him becoming Yggdrasil, which is the tree of life in Norse mythology. I think it was always gonna go that way. They already called the timelines branches in the first episode. Btw some people also think that Loki being Yggdrasil is the reason why the time stone is green like Loki.
When Loki says "I know what kind of god I need to be for you, for all of us" it's the exact same line he gives his father Odin at the end of Thor 1 before he falls into the abyss. Brought it back, back then he was selfish, and here he says it out of pure selflessness
At the end when the mention there was an incident with Kang in the 616 universe, but it was taken care of by others. They were refering to the incident with Ant Man in Quantumania. ^_^ 616 Being our universe.
29:23 the thing is Loki allows the Multiverse to exist because he is keeping all the variant universes alive. Unlike he who remains who prunes the variant universes. Meaning there are a multiverse of Lokis still around
whenever i rewatch this episode it breaks my heart every time, cos he just wanted to be with his friends and not be alone or a throne but he truly got his “glorious purpose” 😭
This season was so... unbelievably powerful. The callbacks and gravitas given to a character who we've... at this point, seen more than any other character in the MCU, it seems. It brings me to tears every time, and it really is the perfect culmination of Loki's arc. All, and I mean ALL of the callbacks in this episode. Sylvie telling him that he'd been seduced by a throne, and him retorting that the last thing he wants is a throne. And yet... he has his throne. Even his final words... calling back to his last words in the first Thor movie (end credits aside). Tom talks about how, as they were getting ready to film that scene, he went on a jog around the studio back lots, and as he did, he realized what his final line should be. He came back and talked with the director, and they (wisely) agreed that it was the perfect note to end on. Ultimately, this series, and this season in particular have cemented Loki as my favorite character in the MCU. Not my favorite hero, that will always belong to those who hold the mantle of Captain, but he is my favorite character. He was always the God of Mischief, but as Thor pointed out in Ragnarok, he could be so much more. In fact, he is now, officially, the God of Stories. He is the heart of Yggdrasil. And so... he is my favorite character, and as far as I can see, he will hold that position for all time. Always.
Yours is probably the best discussion on this, as you all understood what he did, what it means and the arc of this all better than other reaction channels. Such a greater bittersweet end for Loki. Tom hiddleston chose lokis last lines to be the same as the first Thor film, which is lovely when you hear him talk about that. He’s created a great character. Love the score too. And love that there’s a green light across mobius as he’s talking to Sylvie at the end, like loki is there and we hear Möbius’s words echoing to Loki on the throne showing how he’s listening to his friends. So heartbreaking, but brilliant. Oh and the bookshop used for the scene with OB trying to buy his book was filmed at my favourite independent bookshop in London which was fun to discover!
History Is Now is the end credits song. Natalie Holt is the soundtrack composer. She once appeared on Britains Got Talent and she threw eggs at Simon Cowell.
“I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose.” But now, he has a glorious burden, and Asgard is no more. From his introduction in Thor, to this, wow, what a character arc. I didn’t see it coming.
It is the end of THIS Loki. Other Loki can show but he wouldn't have gone through everything this Loki went, wouldn't control time or have all that centuries of knowledge.
Not necessarily. Loki has options. 1) His powers of illusion are no longer constrained by time or space. He can manifest them anywhere, or anywhen, he pleases. It's not an explicit power he has, but he is now bound to all timelines simultaneously and equally. They exist at all ONLY because of him. It would be more odd if he COULDN'T manifest his illusions anywhere anytime. The question, is how much power those illusions have. At this point, I'd expect a lot. 2) Time doesn't mean anything at all to him anymore. It's a foregone conclusion that if he'll EVER know anything in his existence, then he already knows it now. It would be, again, much stranger for him to NOT have figured out Sylvies Enchantment power, than to have done so. If he has, then he can possess almost anyone, anytime, anywhere. And I say "almost" just because there are always other odd things that can happen. 3) There are a variety of ways to reach the End of Time where his throne is. HWRs TemPad. And odds are that, now without the controls and restrictions in place, O.B. can probably duplicate that type of TemPad. There are also (shown by Loki himself twice now), other ways of reaching the End of Time. He always was good at finding the universe's backdoors, after all. Others can find them as well. I'd bet there's a hidden pathway somewhere on Sakaar. All that said...I think it's something they should do only sparingly, in both cases. Finding Lokis that haven't "grown up", or spending time with this version of Loki. Once in a while, either is fine. But too often would really dull the experience.
And Odins response was "no, Loki" and then Loki fell off the end of a broken bridge and fell into the void Silvie and Mobius responded "no!", "Loki!" And then Loki willingly stepped off the end of a broken bridge to his glorious purpose.
With all the stones, thanos could never touch him now, he's above time and space, what those stones affect. He is literally now the god of the marvel multiverse. He could technically be at all places at once, he's not in one multiverse, hes above them all, outside them all.
Tom Hiddleston as Loki.. one of the BEST things to ever happen in the MCU. I will say though for me, my favourite of the tv series was still Falcon and Winter Soldier. Great reactions guys!!
Yggdrasil is the replacement loom tree at the end - it's also given a nod right at the end of Season2 of "What If?" with The Watcher and Captain Carter looking at the same scene and saying they will stop off on the scenic way home.
Perfect ending for Loki's character, sacrificing himself to protect all the timelines.Thor would be so proud of him,I hope they meet somehow in the future :)
Glad you guys enjoyed this series. Few things I want to say. First off, Loki is now the God of Stories, not god of time, just for clarification. Secondly, the “time tree” he created was meant to be like Yggdrasil, the World’s Tree, in Norse mythology. Thirdly, as of right now, there is no season 3 coming out for this show. If we see Loki again, it might be in something like Avengers 5 or 6, Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars. Lastly, for now, Loki is the man at the end of time watching over the multiverse (in the form of Yggdrasil). Can’t wait to see what you guys react to next.
Loki finally got his throne - I believe he turned it into Yggdrasil, a sacred tree in Norse mythology. Loki is definitely one of the best Disney+ Marvel Programs.
The agent Mobius was talking about that pruned the kid Renslayer. Loki is now the God of Stories. He is now nursing all timelines and keeping them healthy so that people have their free will. A tree with infinite branches, and branches of time. Opens so may doors to so many possibilities for MCU. He now has his throne, but for being the most unselfish person, vs out of greed/power. Earth 616 adjacent = the actions that happened in Quantumania.
With this, MCU had finally found its bearing after a mostly mid to low phase. And then the thing with "Kang" happened. I hope they change actors if needed (big shoes to fill) but do not compromise planned plotlines upto kang dynasty etc. A big bad supervillain deserves a big bad finale and sliding in doctor doom (if rumors are true) will be doing injustice to both kang and doctor doom. We need good storylines dammit.
You gotta give it to Loki’s dedication for studying this stuff and repeating it over and over for centuries. You’d think someone would go crazy doing that.
Tbh I think Thor would be proud of what Loki did and the sacrifice he made for everyone. I really enjoyed season 2. Hopefully we'll get to see a reaction from Thor finding out what Loki did. Either way a very nice ending and redemption of Loki becoming the God of Stories
I believe the next Marvel TV show y’all should catch should be Moon Knight. My top three series in order are: Loki (both seasons) Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac is a tremendous actor) Miss Marvel (I like everyone in this show. Her parents are precious)
@@BaddMedicine I feel super dumb now. I didn't see the read more button to expand it. Lol Since the picture was out of order I just assumed ya'll didn't show the order on those community posts, but now I see when I hit read more. My bad. Thanks for the heads up.
22:09 is not just a tree, that's Yggdrasil , the Tree of Life from Norse Mythology, that tree represents all 9 worlds; in the case of the show , it would also mean ALL the multiverse
Loki is outside of time, holding the Multiverse together, so he can’t be in the Multiverse. This is Loki’s final resting place. Who knew he was this powerful. Wow. What a show. The performance from Tom was great, and the visuals were sweet. Cap it off with awesome music, and you have a great show, that had direction and a purpose. Something that Marvel is lacking in.
I loved everything about this show, Loki's character arc was sad and beautiful and poigniant. He went from being the God of Mischief to becoming the God of Stories. What a great production.
Loki went from the god of mischief, to the god of stories (another sort of take on the comic verison of him). And the tree at the end was just like the Yggdrasil, the Norse tree that binds the 9 realsm together. Except in this case its binds the multiverse.
Just started my reaction channel and needed some great reactors to subscribe to! I have been in pure heaven since discovering your channel! Thanks for the entertaining content 😂!
Clear character growth, interesting and fun side characters that have with chemistry with each other and the lead, thoughtful story structure, and a well-developed script…this is how you do a limited series. I just loved it, so glad y’all did as well, great reactions with excellent discussion as always, guys.
Its heartbreaking to me that the one thing loki never wanted to be was alone and yet his sacrifice to save everyone and his friends means he will be alone forever 😢 Such a masterpiece of a show and one of the great character arcs in anything imo, not just Marvel. Amazing. I was left speechless after this
I love that I’m the very first Thor he always said he would have a throne as it was his right and his father without full on saying it said that he would and that it wouldn’t be a throne that he would expect but it would be what’s right. And what a way to show that as he did get th throne not for himself but for people. And that he did become the God that people deserve and needed. What a character development. Great show great character. Very sad that we didn’t see more of this side of Loki
Goodbye Loki the God of Mischief, all hail Loki, The God of Stories!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Love your content guys!!!! Can't wait for your Attack on Titan reactions!!! ❤️
Wow! What an epic ending to this show! Enjoyed watching & listening to your intake about Marvel Universe & good to see Loki's character development throughtout both seasons & I like shows with time travel & do 'Butterfly Effect' stuff & if that is the last time we ever see Loki, I'm pretty satisfied with that ending for him.
@BaddMedicine, 15:48 This story here explains why Ravonna was in Sylvie's past and why Ravonna was sent to Asgard. Ravonna went to prune Sylvie to prevent her from killing HWR and everyone across the Multiverse! 17:15 That Mobius wasn't Loki's Mobius, so Loki erased that version of him. 18:18 You hear that? The former HWR's parting gift. 18:41 This is why HWR chose Loki and not any other god. Loki always had the potential to put others above himself. Thor Love and Thunder gave us a picture of what most gods in the MCU are like, self-loving assholes that'll sacrifice their own worshipers to save themselves. 18:51 He's a god like his brother Thor, remember? Do you remember what happened in Infinity War? Thor survived the vacuum of space, and that's not all! Thor took on the full might of a star head-on and survived. Gods are built to take a beating as we saw in the first Avengers movie when Hulk got a hold of Loki, lol. 19:36 The timelines are literally branches. 20:12 Loki pulled back the veil, hiding the Citadel at the End of Time. The TVA and HWR's citadel always occupied the same space, they sat opposite the Temporal Loom. 22:09 Loki fashioned the timelines to look like a piece of Asgard, Yggdrasil; the tree of life. 22:56 The Council of Kangs are working in the TVA's blind spot. The TVA only knows of one Kang, the one Ant-Man and the Wasp brought down. Uh-oh! 23:45 God of Stories Loki rewrote their stories and gave them happy endings. Now they have to choose to take it or stay and protect the future Loki's given them. We can see the hunter that Brad pruned in the room with everyone else, so he didn't die in the void. If Loki moved him, he very likely moved General Dox and the rest of her team too. Since Brad wanted to live his life, Loki very likely put him in the timeline so that he could be the person he always wanted to be. Ravonna is the only one, Loki left her alone. She was irredeemable, apparently. Yikes! Mobius told us during his talk with Loki that she was always the one to do what needed to be done, and that she would do it without hesitation--that's her story. That sort of person has no place at the TVA. The TVA needs agents who'll stop and think. I don't know if you put it all together, but Ravonna was sent back in time to prune Sylvie from her timeline because of what she would eventually do, kill HWR and everyone and all of time. Did HWR do what he did for the greater good or did he do what he did for himself? I think it's a bit of both. I think his story is sort of like what we saw in Into the Spiderverse with Kingpin and Vanessa. When we finally see Kang's story, I think that we'll see him with a partner, his Ravonna, not the one we saw in Loki, and the incident that inevitably killed her. I think HWR has been trying to undo the events that brought about her demise, and inadvertently created the the Multiverse with every attempt he made--interacting with the past creates new realities remember? That's what the Ancient told us in Endgame. HWR's determination exists in every version of himself, and their shared need to bring back their lost love would inevitably doom everyone everywhere across all time, which likely started the Multiversal War. HWR told us that he was the first variant back in season one. He was the first one to realize that what they were doing was wrong and that it needed to be stopped. And he ended the war, but deep down, he still wanted to do what he set out to do. His machine was never good enough to save everyone and his dream of saving his lost love. Isn't that why he brought Loki into this? Loki is doing what he couldn't, allowing an infinite number of timelines to coexist as one. Victor was HWR's failsafe on the timeline, but was he the only failsafe? I doubt it, as we saw he had a plan to resurrect himself in the series finale. The Council of Kangs were always here, well, the moment he took his hands of the steering wheel in season one, just before Sylvie killed him. Something tells me that HWR sent his younger self everything he would need to know to get a head start on saving Ravonna and possibly control again if that is what he truly wants. Comic book Kang would want control over all of time, but I don't think that's where this story is headed. I think HWR did what he did out of love, not for power.
2:37 funny thing this beethoven mix was firstly introduced in Family guy. Funny thing is loom is out of time and space ( rings hold timelines so they hold multiverse time and space ) so if Loki tried for a thousands maybe even hundred of thousands of years then they could create multiplayer that makes ring bigger in real time since it is out of time and space it the ring could grow infinitely to accommodate infinite timelines, i think thats why HWR laughed when he knew Timely told Loki it is scaling problem. But it is cool they choose to make god Loki a "God". And i think in season 1 and in season 2 when HWR is saying see you soon it is not to Sylvie but to Loki
Loki was already master of being in two places at once. They've already written in the ability for him to show up again whenever they want, probably more a matter of what they do and when.
Love watching your watch alongs. I feel that season 2 of Loki was a masterpiece. The whole series was a way to turn Loki (the god of mischief) into Loki (the god of stories) who is a major character in what most people believe is the destination of the Marvel universe. I won’t spoil it for anyone but, if you read the comics, you’ll know how integral he is in a particular storyline of the Marvel universe.
This has been the best from mcu for me, I think the kid mobius was supposed to prune but couldn't was kid loki at the end of time. Also lokis tears in that last scene were real, they had all been saying their goodbyes on set right before filming this scene, i also feel the gold appearing in his throne was almost like odin was giving him his approval
I like to think that Valhalla is outside of all of this, and that at some point, Odin and Frigga got to actually tell him how proud they are. Maybe one day, in his adventures with their adoptive niece, Thor will stumble across a hidden pathway to the End of Time, and get to tell Loki the same.
@@DoremiFasolatido1979 I hope to god some form of this happens loki deserves to have his praise now all he ever wanted was for odin and frigga to be proud of him
My guilty pleasure is awards shows and this season was a treat for me! RDJ, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner and Tom Holland (he was at them with Zendaya) catching up at them was great to see. Especially seeing Tom Holland and RDJ hugging again. I still can't watch this episode without streaming tears at the irony of Loki finding friends then giving up everything to save them.
Aside from all the praise that's already been shared about this show including the acting, the writing, the VFX/SFX/Audio, one thing I love about it is it's both self-contained AND can have major implications for other stories in the MCU.
yes, loki made himself as "LOOM" to save brance and scared timeline.. his mother, dad(odin) , thor, and hela would be so proud of him even though his just a branch timeline loki
The way Loki can be in more films is through projection. While he can’t leave the chair, he has shown that he can project his image, so he can do that whenever and wherever he wants now.
26:28 it’s so sad but amazing Loki made the igdrasyl or however you spell it he made it so there could be the infinite multiverse because he scales to infinity as long as he doesn’t leave. He is the custodian of the multiverse. There must be someone or something there. He is now atlas the custodian of the multiverse
It seems that Loki was always aware that he had a glorious purpose. It was probably something his mother Frigga would tell him as a child; as a witch, she "sees with more than eyes". It might be that every time he tried to force his 'glorious purpose' it failed because it wasn't meant to be. I think him holding the timelines and creating what appears to be Yggdrasil, is a nice way of keeping him omnipresent but physically detached from the MCU multiverse. At this point he's similar to 'The Watcher' but in a sort of 'Guardian of Timelines' capacity. There's a storyline in the comics where Loki becomes the God of stories and this end is a great nod towards that. Its a very well written end to his story that could see him come back as a vision or guide in future instalments... But holy mother of Loki's what a scene it is to see him walk down that path and adopt his Asgardian garb! I flipped my shit when I first saw that scene! Great reaction guys! So.... SheHulk next?
I don't know what would happen if you guys tried to react to Dark, your brains would melt 😂😂 (I am not belittling you everyone's brain melts watching it, it would funny seeing you try😂😂)
Did you notice when Loki popped back to the TVA the last time Viktor stuck his head in and she said “welcome, he who remains” was she still talking about Viktor or was she now calling Loki that?
IMHO Loki had the best character development in the Marvel universe. The Loki we see here in the last episode is completely different to the one we meet in the first movie. Tom Hiddleston was very happy with this development as well. That's why he said he won't do a 3rd season (yet). For him the tale about Loki is finished. But as far as I know Tom he probably will come back to the character in a couple of years after a break and some other projects. I'm sure we won't get a season 3 though. I also loved how they came back to Loki's "glorious purpose" . The God of storytelling is now literally telling ALL the stories and fulfills his glorious purpose which is not the kind of destiny he had envisioned in movie 1 but is the result of his completed story arc. Plus he rebuild Yggdrasil. That was genius! I mean it's the age old tell of a God making the world in his image (or the one he knows from his childhood and his own believes) and at the same time he recreates an important part of Asgard again. While I liked the creativity of Wanda Vision, my favorites of the Marvel series are Loki, Moon Knight and Hawkeye. I really hope you're gonna watch Moon Knight next. Oscar Isaac's performance was maybe the best one I have seen in Marvel (next to Tom's). Moon Knight especially is really layered and you have to dig your teeth in and can interprete the hell out of it. Perfect for recaps. Thanks for all the fun you bring with the channel. It's really entertaining.
It's such a nice coincidence that time stone is green so is Loki magic. I love that universe became Tree of Life. Man this show... This season was something else. I loved Loki always but this brought it to another level 😢❤❤
What an epic ending and season 2 might have one of the best that MCU has offered for series. What was your reaction? What did we miss?

Loki became the God of stories
You guys should watch Indian movie (Salaar)👍
Theater with this score they had would've been awesome
o7
Heck, I did clap. Literally, I really did.
Thing was, he was afraid to be alone. That’s why Loki tried to find a way to save TVA. Now he’s not afraid to be alone or maybe he is but sacrificed himself for the greater good for his friends😢. Bittersweet.
I cried! It’s what he wanted from the very beginning (to be king) & his personal growth was so touching. I loved this.
18:39 "For you, for all of us." These are also the last words Loki says in Thor, right before he let's go and falls into space.
😭😭😭😭😭 stopppp 💔
And it was Tom's idea himself to use that line. Full circle.
One of the best arcs in the MCU. Tom Hiddleston deserves all the praise in the world for his portrayal of Loki. Just an iconic character!
The tree-symbolism of the new "Loom" was great, massive nod to Yggrassil - the Norse mythology Tree of Life.
Aye... It takes a True Norse God to produce something like that. As much as he refuted being one 😔
Loki fullfulls his glorious purpose as the God of Stories. o7
I felt like it was an interesting creative choice. My mythology brain was always going “oh it’s Loki and they talking about branches when they gonna introduce the tree” but I didn’t think they’d like… create it. I thought it would be something he destroyed kinda ragnirockesk lol it was definitely weird
Dude, when I saw the tree, as in Yggrassil, I absolutely lost it. One of the best things in the marvel universe. A masterpiece.
Natalie Holt did an OUTSTANDING job with the score. Especially the "Ascension" , "Singularity" and "Purpose is Glorious".
Purpose is Glorious stays on 30min repeat for me 😅
I'm an emotional watcher but I never expected to cry over Loki. And yet I SOBBED at the end. What a beautiful, tragically perfect ending for his character arc.
I’m so glad someone else did! 😅
"I hope you know you deserve to be alone and always will be."
"I'm scared of being alone"
He choose to be Alone so his friends can be together
We mention this in the review. Full arc of Loki complete.
If Sif could see him now...she'd eat those words. Between sobs.
generally yes but he can see them in time threads and i would not be surprised if later they ( marvel) show him able to project himself into different timelines
22:06
This is where Loki becomes the God of Stories and the center of Yggdrasil, the tree on which all the realms reside.
from what I've read he becomes the God of Time but maybe he becomes both?
@@kevinprzy4539 Well he does have the right green color for the time stone. 😋
His character arc through the short two seasons is amazing. From bad guy in Avengers, joke in Thor, this series has fleshed out the character so much. Empathy, purpose and benevolence not the key words you usually see with Loki.
Opens a world(tree) of probabilities for future films.
I just want him to interact with Thor again 😭
Yup...because thanks to time-travel and the multiverse...we can have Loki as a villain OR a hero...anytime.
Diamond Dave said it. Loki did not want to be alone and his arc is SO BIG he sacrificed for his friends because he didn't want the glory, he wanted his friends to live. That last scene with him, I picture him watching his friends have lives and smiling. Also, Loki is over, there will be no more Loki after this
When Loki reappears in the “loom room” at the end you can hear “welcome he who remains”. Thought that was pretty cool.
I heard that and thought hmmm lol
Loki becoming the new "Loom" is him becoming Yggdrasil, which is the tree of life in Norse mythology. I think it was always gonna go that way. They already called the timelines branches in the first episode.
Btw some people also think that Loki being Yggdrasil is the reason why the time stone is green like Loki.
I love that when Sylvie and Mobius are talking at the end, there's a green and gold hue (Loki's colors) behind Mobius. It's such a great touch
Whoa I didn’t even notice😮. Thank you😊
29:23 the thing is Loki allows the Multiverse to exist because he is keeping all the variant universes alive.
Always.
Loki is now the most powerful character in the MCU multiverse… he is the god of stories who’s only below the one above all.
Thor and Odin would be so proud of the man/God that Loki has become.
GOD OF STORIES LOKI IS HERE! no matter how many times I watch this episode through reactions.. I get chills at “the scene” every single time
“I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose.” But now, he has a glorious burden, and Asgard is no more. From his introduction in Thor, to this, wow, what a character arc. I didn’t see it coming.
It is the end of THIS Loki. Other Loki can show but he wouldn't have gone through everything this Loki went, wouldn't control time or have all that centuries of knowledge.
But shouldn’t appear another Loki because he pruned himself in every timeline in Episode 1 of season 2, remember?
@@yomerito3320 but I think when all the timelines were freed on ep 6 of season 2, new Lokis can show up
@@Nat.ali.a oh because timelines are constantly expanding? You might be right
@@yomerito3320 yes, because of this
18:37 was also the line Loki said to Odin when he was hanging on the end of the destroyed bifrost on Thor 1
And Odins response was "no, Loki" and then Loki fell off the end of a broken bridge and fell into the void
Silvie and Mobius responded "no!", "Loki!" And then Loki willingly stepped off the end of a broken bridge to his glorious purpose.
For anyone who doesn't know the tree at the end is yggdrasil the norse tree of life. Loki is a norse God which is why it took the shape of a tree.
This really is the best MCU show. A whole masterpiece
With all the stones, thanos could never touch him now, he's above time and space, what those stones affect.
He is literally now the god of the marvel multiverse.
He could technically be at all places at once, he's not in one multiverse, hes above them all, outside them all.
Man the shots with mobius and sylie where the sunlight has this green tone to it to imply loki can see this convo
I love that they did that. And then you an hear mobius as we see Loki at the end showing he’s listening.
The Timestone is green, like Loki.
The "centuries later" part was basically Loki's _Groundhog Day._
I’m so excited! I woke up to seeing this pop up. Love you guys. Cheers from Oregon! ❤
Cheers from Wisconsin
This is possibly the best way my evening could have started! Love from Belgium
My top three series in order are:
Loki (both seasons)
Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac is a tremendous actor)
Miss Marvel (I like everyone in this show. Her parents are precious)
In the comics Loki becomes the God is Stories. Looks like he became that in the MCU as well.
Edit: I didn't see the read more on the weekly schedule picture. Loved the reaction.
We put up a schedule on the community tab every Monday.
@@BaddMedicine I feel super dumb now. I didn't see the read more button to expand it. Lol Since the picture was out of order I just assumed ya'll didn't show the order on those community posts, but now I see when I hit read more. My bad. Thanks for the heads up.
I knew you all would love the ending and Tom Hiddleston is such an amazing actor. I love seeing all the knowledge he gained and other powers! ❤
Another amazing season of my favorite Marvel show! 💚 💜 Glad y'all enjoyed it too!
Ya it's a great ending for his character and that literally save MCU previous Phase LOL
Loki went from the god of mischief, to the god of stories (another sort of take on the comic verison of him). And the tree at the end was just like the Yggdrasil, the Norse tree that binds the 9 realsm together. Except in this case its binds the multiverse.
Loki created Yggdrasil Ultra, a form of Yggdrasil that isn’t just of life, but of time.
This was the glorious purpose Loki deserved and an absolute amazing ending
Just started my reaction channel and needed some great reactors to subscribe to! I have been in pure heaven since discovering your channel! Thanks for the entertaining content 😂!
Clear character growth, interesting and fun side characters that have with chemistry with each other and the lead, thoughtful story structure, and a well-developed script…this is how you do a limited series. I just loved it, so glad y’all did as well, great reactions with excellent discussion as always, guys.
Such a brilliant finale! And absolutely Tom's episode!
Its heartbreaking to me that the one thing loki never wanted to be was alone and yet his sacrifice to save everyone and his friends means he will be alone forever 😢
Such a masterpiece of a show and one of the great character arcs in anything imo, not just Marvel. Amazing. I was left speechless after this
It's been revealed thru the grapevine that Loki will meet Thor at some point, likely during Secret Wars.
I cried at the end lol Loki always been my fav
And now what color does the Timestone have? :P
Yeah and even back then he never REALLY wanted the throne, he just wanted his father to respect him
Goodbye Loki the God of Mischief, all hail Loki, The God of Stories!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Love your content guys!!!! Can't wait for your Attack on Titan reactions!!! ❤️
One of the baddest shows this year from the baddest crew on RUclips, love it!
🤜🤛
@BaddMedicine,
15:48 This story here explains why Ravonna was in Sylvie's past and why Ravonna was sent to Asgard.
And i think in season 1 and in season 2 when HWR is saying see you soon it is not to Sylvie but to Loki
not just any tree,, it's the tree of life from Norse mythology. there's a name for it I always forget the proper spelling...
God of Stories! 🕰️
It's so unfortunate that Majors isn't gonna be apart of the MCU now. His portrayal of He who remains is so good.
Wants a throne his whole life, but by the time he finally earns it, it's the last thing he wants.
Loki, as Time Itself tries to erase him: "I am a God, you dull creature!"
Aside from all the praise that's already been shared about this show including the acting, the writing, the VFX/SFX/Audio, one thing I love about it is it's both self-contained AND can have major implications for other stories in the MCU.
I hope we see Loki and Thor reunite. It would be interesting to see Thor's reaction to finding Loki at the end of time.
yes, loki made himself as "LOOM" to save brance and scared timeline.. his mother, dad(odin) , thor, and hela would be so proud of him even though his just a branch timeline loki
The way Loki can be in more films is through projection. While he can’t leave the chair, he has shown that he can project his image, so he can do that whenever and wherever he wants now.
Loki doesn't need to leave, he can interject himself into any timeline anywhere like Victor did. Loki exists in every timeline at every moment.
Loki turned into the God of Stories. Just like the comics. And his suit at the end is his comic book outfit as well.
Loki has become the god of stories. I love it
In the realm of "if" is Deadpool. He is the wild card, whatever happens in DP3 we the audience may be bless with a Loki cameo.
one of the best world building and writing in marvel so farr and a proper end for this loki variant
Love your videos! Also Diamond Dave sounds SO MUCH like younger Robert Downey Junior

I love that you guys watched Edge of Tomorrow recently because I thought the start of this ep was very like that too 🤣 hilarious
