Loki's magnificent destiny is fully embraced in the second season's sixth episode. As the guardian of the multiverse, he is willing to sacrifice everything to protect it. With a complete transformation, Loki has become an exceptional individual. Choosing to end the second season with the title "Glorious Purpose" is a clever and significant decision. It reflects Loki's personal journey and teases the thrilling prospects that await. In the sixth episode of Loki season 2, titled "Glorious Purpose," the show's essence is beautifully portrayed as it delves into Loki's quest for self-discovery and redemption. At first, Loki was convinced that his purpose was to dominate and control others. However, he eventually came to the profound realization that his true calling was to assist and honor every person, utilizing his abilities for the betterment of all. In the final scene, Loki's character arc takes a crucial turn as he sits on a throne surrounded by a vast network of branches. These branches represent Yggdrasil, the immense tree that links the nine realms of Norse mythology. Including Yggdrasil in this scene is a momentous and satisfying development for Loki's character. It signifies his acceptance of his newfound mission and responsibility to safeguard the multiverse. Furthermore, it is a poignant reminder of Loki's evolution into a heroic figure.
Seeing Loki become the god of stories and take his throne was a literal masterpiece 🤌🏼 one of the craziest character arcs I’ve ever seen. Well done Tom hiddleston!! Forever our Loki 🫡

There's only 2 other tv shows from Disney that have turned out the same way (blew my expectations out of the water). Ever. So I cherish them, even if I find Disney to be in need of restructuring.

Seeing all those green timelines reminded me of the Mako Lifestream from Final Fantasy VII. Also, Loki’s conversation with He Who Remains was my favorite scene. At first he was still playful and cracking jokes, but he took the conversation-and Loki-more seriously when they talked about the Loom.
I remember Elder Loki in Season One yelling "Glorious Purpose!" when he sacrificed himself. It seemed that for the Loki, the Glorious Purpose was always to sacrifice himself. Same as Tony Stark...his journey was from Iron Man 1st movie to Avengers: End Game. Playboy Billionaire Philanthropist to the one who died to bring back half of the Universe. The writers of this show are amazing, bringing together the various Loki resources/storylines to this Epic series. Bravo! And...Loki's story continues 🙂
Loki has one of the greatest character arcs of all time. He started the show as a god who wanted to rule everyone and everything in the universe for selfish reasons, to a god who selflessly watches over and protects the MULTIVERSE, in isolation, from a throne outside of time and space. Mobius told him that he needed to choose which burden he could live with to fulfill his purpose, and as heavy as it was, this was the only choice in which all of his friends and family as well as all of the people of the multiverse would be saved. He is a true hero now. My heart absolutely breaks that this Loki is now and possibly always will be alone, but at least he can watch over everyone he cares for from afar. I waited so long for this vid, thanks for the remarkable work and effort you put in all of this. This season finale was so good and the theory that the time stone is green because of Loki lives rent free in my mind
After in the end, Loki achieved that all this time he only sought to have a throne that could define what he is and give his meaning to knowing about his existence. It is a heartbreaking moment...it hurts that he is alone and they have given him so that his own narrative would give more depth and perfect development. It is the greatest thing that Marvel has done for the character and the entire long journey that Tom Hiddleston took. I adore him very much, and I hope it's not the last time seeing him. I still have faith in that!😭😭💚💚
I can't say enough how amazing this show was...all of the seasons! I agree with the majority, that this is the best thing Marvel put out since End Game. Loki taking his throne was epic! Great reactions.
This series was really fun to watch. I can’t wait to see what you do next with the MCU shows like the rest of Ms Marvel ad the new stuff coming out, especially with What If? Season two, and Echo
Loki series is my TOP1 of all MCU the character build is insane and the ending is nothing but amazing , this character one and if not top of my favourite. i loved all the actors they done amazing job and TOM gave this character true life. i hope he comes back . i still feel sad that it ended.
Well, Tom Hiddleston already said season 2 was the culmination of 14 years playing Loki. So, there won't be a season 3. However, who knows if he is going to return for Avengers : Kang Dinasty
Mobius staring at his own life in the end really is sad. He looks at his two kids which he doesnt have any memories whatsoever. This is what he could have been, and he will never be. 😢😢😢
Mobius had lived centuries outside of time he was glad to stand and feel every heartbeat beat and pass, lost in the last second, then the last minute, hour, day, week, month and years. That look in his eyes was the loneliest Ive ever seen... and I am glad he finaly got to feel it. Loki is hands down the best series I have ever seen! He has changed so much and I am excited to see his reunion with Thor, the season premier had Thor shouting Loki's name after he vanished. What did this do to Thor? Remember he came to earth to recover Loki and take him back. He must still be looking for his dear brother across the cosmos...because there is no Thor without Loki... and there is no Loki without Thor!
The idea of the "god who must do this thing for eternity" is heavily mythological -- not just in Norse mythology, but Greek, Roman, etc. I've read so many stories like that, but to actually watch a character who we care about, who has to make that decision... I don't know. It's almost beyond my ability to grasp... but it is certainly heartbreaking.
I recommend watching him talking to BBC 1 interview with Ali Plumb. It's even more emotional hearing Tom talk about the moment he thought about and chose to say "I know who I need to be. For you. For all of us." Referring back to the beginning, Thor 1. And how he cried and it cut to a bts look at him bent over, how he cried before that final shot at the end. Tom was the one that ultimately got me into the MCU. I was a little late to the party but coming across a video with "some guy" named Tom Hiddleston, dressed up as a Loki at a Hall H at a San Diego Comic Con. I was hooked. I thought, "This guy. I don’t know who he is but i like him, i love him already!" For someone to dress up as their character and control a crowd like Freddy Mercury would 😅 Which reminds me, you cannot convince me otherwise....Freddy Mercury....was a Loki variant 💚 with a more shy and soft side in every day life. But on the stage.....😅
This season of Loki was made for 142 mil $ and the Accolyte was made for 180$ mil and its an ant compared to this monster of a show . What a hit for Marvel . Hoping Deadpool and Wolverine top that . Love Marvel , despite all their issues lately with all my heart .
I first started watching your reactions to Loki season 1 and from there started watching your other reactions ! You literally helped me to subscribe to all these reactors and i thank you so much for that ! Ima stay tuned until we get other reactions but to see this end really hit home !
I hope he someday gets to reunite with Thor. Even if it's just once. Thor needs to know that Loki did right by him. I hope Odin and Frigga knows what he did. I know they would be very proud of him. Especially Frigga.
When the view pulled out to show Yggdrasil, I audibly gasped. Wonderful storytelling right there, and as horribly muddled as the whole 'multiverse' stage of the MCU has been, this is a nice attempt to try and pull everything back into what could be considered a cohesive whole again.

It was definitely not the only thing
10:08 that's a real nice word play on part of the writers
Wwooowwww. Odin, Frigga and Thor would be so proud right now...
Thanks so much. Ive been waiting for this. Im happy you got to take your time on this. Your vidoes are top teir 😁😎
Loki Season 2 finale is Beyond Awesome Thank Job Johnny o Dell keep it up 😀😎👍🤘❤
Most purpose is more burden than glory. Now that's a heavy lesson for life.
This series was really fun to watch. I can’t wait to see what you do next with the MCU shows like the rest of Ms Marvel ad the new stuff coming out, especially with What If? Season two, and Echo
Yup he essentially became Yggdrasil, the tree of life
Loki series is my TOP1 of all MCU the character build is insane and the ending is nothing but amazing , this character one and if not top of my favourite.
i loved all the actors they done amazing job and TOM gave this character true life.
i hope he comes back . i still feel sad that it ended.
Thanks for bringing these together. Great job as always!
If they don't do Ssn3 its actually fine. What an ending. As always, great video compilation. Thank you Johnny. ❤
Well, Tom Hiddleston already said season 2 was the culmination of 14 years playing Loki. So, there won't be a season 3. However, who knows if he is going to return for Avengers : Kang Dinasty
@@dailycarolina.Or Avengers Secret Wars movie.
the best character development ever and the best send of for such an incredible and complicated character
Ok... this is probably my favorite react video. GREATEST series finale ever!
Mobius staring at his own life in the end really is sad. He looks at his two kids which he doesnt have any memories whatsoever. This is what he could have been, and he will never be. 😢😢😢
I wish we saw Gator Loki again. 🐊
Thank you for another compilation season J20.
Amazing as always
Best Character Arc, 'nuff said!
Ever since the new phase
The only studs are loki, gotg vol 3, and no way home. Out of like 30+ projects, only 3 did amazing
I don’t know who he is but i like him, i love him already!" For someone to dress up as their character and control a crowd like Freddy Mercury would 😅
Which reminds me, you cannot convince me otherwise....Freddy Mercury....was a Loki variant 💚 with a more shy and soft side in every day life. But on the stage.....😅
There was a fanfic where Freddy was one of Loki's descendants…
@@shanzhi3184 I believe it! 😅 Feels believable to me
Thank you so much for uploading this... I've been waiting for this one...
12:53 “Did he take all dem b*tches wit em?”
*Idk why but that made me laugh so hard!* 💀💀
P.S the One with the Hammer that Kang refered to in Quantumania was Loki who becamw worthy of Mjolnr
The best show of the MCU! What an arc!
I'm gonna miss The gurdians of the TVA so bad
Especially Frigga.
that was really the best show of MCU
13:45 is me
When the view pulled out to show Yggdrasil, I audibly gasped. Wonderful storytelling right there, and as horribly muddled as the whole 'multiverse' stage of the MCU has been, this is a nice attempt to try and pull everything back into what could be considered a cohesive whole again.
That "Welcome he who remains" foreshadowing loki will become the next HWR. Great detail there👍
