The shear fact that he went thru all his difficulties & can do all this music in a modern way is proof. Most classical guitar players play within the university circuit or places associated with em, the flamencos have their clicks... Esteban plays it all, for all, Vegas style & more.
I saw Esteban and Theresa last night at the LVH. They were awesome! Intimate setting, and a very appreciative audience. If you get a chance to see them, by all means, go!
Esteban's music helped me recover from a near fatal wreck in 2007. I leaned to play a bit after hearing his band, Teresa and the great Ray Nelson. I bought two of his guitars and I call his Black Master Class the "pain killer" because I could put the wood right up to my face and play and the vibrations will kill pain. I have since bought a few other brands, Seagulls and a Taylor but that black Master Class is the best pain killer. If I was on a deserted island and could only have one piece of music, it would be Zorro. Thanks Esteban!

What you need to know choppercrest is this is not Esteban's Band. I have seen them and none of these guys are in his band. He must have picked them up in Vegas and they are not even close to the caliber of musicians he usually uses. The drummer on this video is horrible. His usual drummer is Joe Morris (look him up) he is one of the most respected drummers in the world. Its not the drums its whos playing them. Estebans regular drummer is amazing!!!
