Workers comp lawyers only get paid on disputed amounts. If they have to fight to get you paid then they take a fee on what they fought over. Then at the end of the case when they when you the lump sum of money they get paid a percentage of that as well.

If I can get somebody paid with just a few phone calls I don’t take a fee on it. I just give the money to the client.

How much my lawyer cost in nyc with worker’s compensation and 3rd party law suit still same 20% ?
Usually 20% for the workers comp case and 1/3 to 40% for the personal injury case.
So in my case I’ll pay 20% for workers comp and another 40% for 3rd party lawsuit correct that’s equal to 60%
