The attention to detail in the campaign is also impressive, when you kill a soldier in the past, their corpse will appear rotten and decayed in the present.
the area where you were talking about music I really believe Titanfall 2 main soundtrack is the best in the entire game the way it encompasses the greatness of Titanfall 2 is just beautiful
I def think the soundtrack has good songs for sure, and I agree with you, a great song indeed. I guess my main complaint was how little the music mattered while actually playing. Thank you for watching!
Ive never played the first titanfall game but I played Titanfall 2 a couple months ago as well on recommendation of a friend, and it has been a long time since I actually wanted to cry at a game's ending. The last game that made me cry before this one was Omori, and that was after a 30 hours and a massive buildup to one of the most emotionally devastating plot points I've ever seen in any game. The fact that Titanfall 2's campaign brought me to that same point in less than half the time in a genre of game I don’t normally like is really saying something about its quality. Even with the gameplay - I have yet to find any other game that has mechs as fun as this game
Very cool insight! And I totally agree, it is impressive the emotional significant this game arises in such a short amount of time. I am glad that you enjoyed a game outside of what you might usually play!
I do agree that the campaign is short but I feel like any extra missions would have just been filler and not as memorable as the ones we got. Short but nothing else to add
Yea, not only was it probably a development constraint as I mentioned, but I totally agree, there is some inherent value in the shortness as well. I could easily see more missions meaning less meaningful missions.
When Titanfall 2 launched, I had recently received my first console, an Xbox One. One of my mom's friends gifted me Titanfall 1. About a year later, I discovered that a sequel existed and received it the next Christmas. I've played it ever since
The campaign might be short, but the missions and the dialogue get the necessary impacts across to you. You start as "this is cool, giant ass robot" and then it just works its way up to "BT is my friend" and thats all the game had to do. In my personal opinion, titanfall 2 is the best game ever created
Well said, and I agree. I totally think there is some significant value in the shortness of the game. If more missions were added, I could see them being less impactful filler. But what the team did with this campaign is indeed incredible. Thank you for watching!
With the escape mission where you mentioned Cooper and by extension the player was angry, I felt different. I felt hopeless, I felt lost without the one person who was guiding my hand through the rest of the game. I was panicking trying not to die, it was terrifying being alone it that facility without my best friend. It was a harrowing moment for me, I felt true fear. And yes, I cried like a baby over B.T.'s sacrifice. I cried so hard my cats were freaking out and my dad was concerned for me hahahaha
Thank you for sharing. I don't think I've heard anyone have that experience as you, where that moment is just full of fear. And it totally makes sense too. BT was indeed the guiding hand throughout pretty much every moment, and this was a sudden stop to that. As for crying over BT's sacrifice, that one is shared by lots of people, and for good reason. Thanks for watching!
Great video dude!! My favourite part of titanfall 2 is the sequence right after BT dies. I mean you watch you’re best friend and basically only ally for the majority of the game get shredded right in front of your eyes while you can’t do anything. I wouldn’t be able to say anything either. Cooper not saying anything makes the scene so much better because that’s how I felt too, I couldn’t form a word while running with his data core. (Just wanna say again what a fantastic video, 5k views is so underrated 😭)
Thank you for the very kind words, they are truly appreciated! Indeed, that is such a good moment, for all the reasons you mentioned and more. The moment and its silence are soo impactful for the player. Again, thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching!

11:20 with how well Respawn did making this level you would have no idea that it’s actually two levels displaced and you’re just teleporting between them to the same relative position. It’s fucking insane that they did such a thing and then make it easily the best mission in the game.
In the mission Into the Abyss you can slide jump off of the moving platforms to gain some INSANE momentum and actually reach ludicrous speed from Spaceballs. It is so much fun! If you didn't know this before you simply have to go try it out now.
I played the first Titanfall back when it released and had an absolute blast! A couple weeks ago I FINALLY bought Titanfall 2 to see what the campaign and multiplayer was like and JEEZ it is great! Really wish I had checked it out earlier
Nooo that's so sad that it was spoiled. I am glad that you were still able to have the shared experience of sobbing at the end though lol. Thanks for watching!
As someone who is far too prone to massive AAA worlds and time sinks, I have come to appreciate the brevity of TF2s campaign. I understand the need for more, but it doesn't have to be a limitation of development. Every moment feels perfectly crafted, which is just missing from so many games I play at the moment. It isn't feasible to produce massive campaign, story, and world while paying attention to every detail. The witcher 3 while is still my favourite game ever made, certainly was not finely tuned at every moment like the titanfall campaign was. I think of how a movie has to be told differently to a TV series. The entertainment industry is definitely moving towards longer stories, while I personally love that as someone who loves long term character development, and my favourite games are massive RPGs and MMORPGs, we need more short experiences like this.
I think the shame comes in to how the sandbox is so much fun, but you don't get to experience it in a PvE setting much. As I've gotten older, I can't play that much TF2 without me getting a bit exhausted after a while. I'd hope they can add some more PVE experiences to the next game.
Final ramble is how I appreciate the COD campaigns in the past where they just felt like cheesy cinematic action movies with cool set pieces. The brevity there worked, cause you can't have a 50 hour game of set pieces back to back. The most recent cod campaign shows how if you can't put enough love/time/care into a shorter experience, you shouldn't probably bother at all.
Very interesting insight, and I agree. TF2 did something that not lots of games do: they perfected the shorter form campaign experience, where every moment felt right. I like the analogy of movie v. tv shows because that is super duper accurate. Still, I will always have the "complaint" that this was fun, so give me more fun! Thanks for watching and thanks for the insight 🙏

Couldnt agree more, i almost got all the achievements apart from pilot helmets as it gets tedious but the campaign is as good if not better than the main game
Titanfall 2 one of the few games I didn't already either know the ending of or didn't accidentally spoil it, so the fucking emotional impact felt like a semi truck 😭😭😭
I hope that Reapawn decides to make a third and complete the trilogy. With TF|2 servers being fixed and apex having more titanfall references it seems possible now
I agree, def a possibility. But I feel like if we are to see a game in the near future, they would have announced it by now. They had plenty of opportunities with all of the hype. Still, I agree, I assume we will eventually see TF3
Pal loved your video you came across very funny I assume not because you wanted to but that's how you played it, titanfall 2 is basically a buddy movie campaign at points your connection with BT is brother like, look I could go on but this puts alot of other triple A games story or campaign mode to shame, great vid by the way you come across as a realy descent guy who loved the story props man I out hope to see more of your videos..
Finally got my friends to get the game a few weeks ago 😮💨. They love the shit out of it, the campaign and multiplayer. One of them even platinum medal’d it. 😂
Interesting, i haven't heard someone comment negatively on the soundtrack yet. Whilst I would definitely say that many of the tracks aren't memorable, i hold Stephen Barton in high regard as great at capturing the emotion, and there's some awesome tracks in this. Each to their own though, og course.
Yea, I think I should have voiced this better. I think the individual tracks are great, but I just don't think they are implemented in game super well. There's only a handful of times when I can point out that music was essential to the moment (around both of BT's deaths). Thanks for watching!
Titanfall 2 is such an amazing game. It needs more attention than Apex Legends. It really sucks that EA abandoned Titanfall 3 after nearly a year of work, and end up releasing Apex.
I agree, it is one hell of a game, and it needs more attention. And yea, everyday it is sad how anticipated Titanfall 3 is, yet they give us nothing other than a cancellation. I assume we'll eventually see a new Titanfall release, but chances are it won't be for a while.
I have to disagree with you on the music, it has some of the best music the video game industry has to offer. I would say that Titanfall 1 has better music overall but Titanfall 2 has some crazy emotional tracks such as ark pursuit which has that frantic part after the beginning only to end with a tear jerking string and choir section. That moment in blood and rust where you find those grunts and the piano plays a really haunting motif. One of my favourite tracks, rifleman cooper has some of the most epic yet emotional motifs and moments, representing his story incredibly well (especially how it incorporates some of BTs theme in it)
There has been some good discourse around my music point, and I wish that I would have voiced myself better. My main thing is that yes, TF2 has some good individual tracks, but I just think how they were implemented in game was a bit lackluster. Yes, there are moments where it works. I totally agree. But overall, the music just wasn't something that I really took away from this campaign, and I am a musical man who pays attention to that stuff. Again, agree there are some good moments, some of which you mentioned, but overall, for me, it was eh. Obviously this point was more of a personal opinion than an objective critique, so there's that. A separate issue that I have with the soundtrack is that it isn't really one that you can just listen through, as is the case with many other games. Because although there are some beautiful melodies scattered throughout, a lot of the tracks are filled with repetitive fight music. Not a real complaint for the soundtrack because that is just what the tracks are, but again, I think there are plenty of games who do it better. Thank you for watching!
I don't know how updated you are, but long story short: - In October, Respawn randomly revived/fixed Titanfall 2 servers. Huge player/community spike - After that, they progressively kept giving hints/easter eggs that hinted at Titanfall 3 (some of these hints are much more credible than others) - No announcement/reveal when the community expected, so we all waited for the Game Awards - We got absolutely trolled at Game Awards with no announcement So now we are still basically riding the high that the game is playable again, hence why you are seeing videos on it. @@MidzBruh oh yeah I know and played all of that but I was just wondering why now? Considering how that all happened like 2-3 months ago, im all for it though
At this point I am shocked that there are still people as hopeful as you are, but I admire it. I agree, if there is nothing by March 11, I wouldn't expect anything in the near future at all.
Really good vid but I think an section at the start where you lay titanfall out and explain the characters and world would be good always think that your audience have never even heard of what your talking about so you can make sure you vid has wider appeal to those unaware of titanfall and better anchor the start of the video and give the viewer a strong foundation
Thanks for the feedback! And I agree. When I was pretty late in editing, I realized that this vid wasn't really made for intense titanfall fans, nor was it made for those unfamiliar with the game. Just sorta in between, so those unfamiliar with the story def might have a hard time following. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
Funny enough the whole complaint of the campaign being to short is the #1 and only complaint the campaign has for most if not every Titanfall 2 player has and or had.
I agree, this campaign (and game as a whole) is goated as hell. I've never played Resident Evil, but this is def one of the greats. Thanks for watching!
@@GamingHub773 Of course! Something I plan on doing this year is spend time playing some of the most well-known single player games (perhaps Resident Evil will be included), might end up making videos on them.

At this point I am shocked that there are still people as hopeful as you are, but I admire it. I agree, if there is nothing by March 11, I wouldn't expect anything in the near future at all.
Pilot. we are going to wendys
Oh yeah, that can only mean one thing-

I do stand by my opinion of titanfall 2’s story being the best ever and it’s good to see someone else thinks the same…
Funny enough the whole complaint of the campaign being to short is the #1 and only complaint the campaign has for most if not every Titanfall 2 player has and or had.
Some times I will forget about Jack cooper because my last name is cooper
Nah I was actually referencing you specifically in this video whenever I said Cooper sorry for the confusion
The only point I don’t agree on is the music. The music in Titanfall 2 is rlly good imo
Hey man why did you say yeeted in 2024
Hey man why did you call me out for saying yeeted in 2024
@Midzit hey man why are you asking why I called you out for saying yeeted in 2024
@@benbodnar976 hey man why are you asking why I asked you why you called me out for saying yeeted in 2024
why your head big? (not complaining or whatnot, just wondering)
Titanfall is on par with the story of assassins creed or resident evils's story its fucking🐐ed
I agree, this campaign (and game as a whole) is goated as hell. I've never played Resident Evil, but this is def one of the greats. Thanks for watching!
@@MidzBruh Oh my gosh thank you for responding and to be honest never played res evil either just know it has a great story.
@@GamingHub773 Of course! Something I plan on doing this year is spend time playing some of the most well-known single player games (perhaps Resident Evil will be included), might end up making videos on them.
@@MidzBruh I can't believe you responded again but thank you and I would love to watch some resident evil videos by you.
Titanfall 2 is(imo) among the best games of all time
I think of BT makes the hilarious memes. I think he's even better than the dancing. Toothless meme and that one annoying singing toilet meme and he's way cooler than the chippy cat meme even better than the rock eyebrow raising meme BT7472 has great memes
cool vid but i disagree on the music part the tf2 ost has such bangers omg
Pasting my reply to another similar comment:
@@MidzBruh stephen barton definitely perfected his composing with the apex soundtrack later on
I turn music off I game like that
You are unwell if you play games without the music in my opinion. Musicians work hard to make that stuff bop. I might be a bit biased but I am amazed you play without music
@@MidzBruh I just rather have Audi I can here when it comes to story lines if the music is on I normally here that more the the actual dialogue
Nah bc playing tf2 while my name is literally cooper is top tier
It takes people 5 hours to finish the campaign?
I'd say that's a pretty average time, yea. Why are you suprised? Do you think its longer or shorter?
uve never played the campaign, in 6 years? Smh, glad you finnaly played it though
Yea I know it's genuinely a bit embarrassing, but here we are. I feel like making a vid on it makes up for it no?
@@MidzBruh it does great video
Hey man I clicked on this video to hear about the best campaign ever and was pretty surprised that it wasnt about Futa Dick Dine and Dash but otherwise its a solid video, I would just make sure you title it more accurately. Very confusing
Yea, I couldn't decide which game to make a video on, but I eventually decided on this one. I must have mixed up titles somehow. Thanks for calling me out on that 🙏
Titanfall 3????????????????
There is a 3 in the comment you left. Perhaps a nod to Titanfall 3????
Apex is an alternate reality in the Titanfall universe.@@MidzBruh
Please don't ever compare Titanfall to Halo 5 again, that was like watching warcrime footage.
Ngl the campaign was kinda boring
I'm reporting and blocking you. Not really why do you think it was boring and what campaigns have you enjoyed in the past?
