The amount of detail that went into this game is just unreal. When you pose for a second and look around you notice so many details that no one ever notices because they're really tiny or you're playing a multiplayer game and you don't have time for it. For example, on the map Exoplanet, if you look at the background you will see that the weird giant flowers are actually pulsating. On maps like Wargames and Boomtown, if you go to the edge of the map and look down, there's an Easter egg saying "unauthorized view". There are many more details that went into this game and no one ever notices and it's kinda sad that they put so much effort into it but it wouldn't have changed anything if they didn't. That's why Respawn is such a great dev team
Lucas Boulanger I found a lot of interesting details in the campaign too, particularly on the airborne mission. If you don't jump on to the Malta from the blackbird when they say "jump" there are like 6 extra lines like: "hang on I'm pulling away" and then you can do it again. If you fail to shoot viper when he's exposed in the cockpit he kills bt, and if you take too long pushing the ark into bt the ship actually crashes and you die.
For me this is one of the few games that felt “next gen”. It doesn’t has awesome graphics but it has an incredible art style, unique gameplay mechanics, sense of reward on multiplayer.... damn, even they added immersion in multiplayer matches and flora/fauna that made the world feel alive. For me there’s no other multiplayer game with the amount of detail that this game has

The real shame is the fact one of the most underrated games ever made hasn't had a 3rd installment now Apex has made the Titanfall universe so popular it would be like printing money. Do it do it NOW!!!
Making a 3rd titanfall game, while making me and many others incredibly happy, would not be like "printing money". Apex is a great game, don't get me wrong, but it's a battle royale and battle royale, as a genre, is dying out. If they wanted to truly put in the effort to make titanfall 3 amazing and release soon enough that people won't forget about it, they would have to stop or reduce the work they do on apex. As their primary income, not focusing on it would be a stupid idea. I hope that after Apex dies out, they will start the creation of titanfall 3, however those that played apex casually (the arguably largest titanfall universe community), will most likely have forgotten about the titanfall universe, and not care to follow the studio. If they market the game better (e.g. not releasing between 2 huge games, better advertising) they have a good chance. But EA now owning them is just a whole other story. Excellent video, man, this level is incredible from every angle. Even though it was almost a decade ago when I played it, We Don't Go To Ravenholm from Half Life 2 is still one of the most memorable single player experiences for me.
The level of humility from the devs who make this masterpiece of a game just boggles my mind! And they manage to continue doing solid projects and never giving in to the EA corporate greed that much. I wish Respawn could go as global as Bungie and eventually go indie!
It's funny that Respawn was making this level at almost the exact same time Arkane Studios was making 'A Crack in the Slab' for Dishonored 2. Two levels in two completely different games that used a very similar core concept (though with different twists). It's interesting to look at both of them and see what they did differently (and the same!)
@@GameBrainOfficial They're both great levels but they aim to do different things since Titanfall is a pure action game while Dishonored is a stealth/action hybrid. It'd be really hard to pick. One cool thing 'A Crack in the Slab' does that 'Effect and Cause' doesn't, though, is it gives you a tool to see the other timeline without having to shift to it. Opens up a lot of possibilities for traversal.
@@GameBrainOfficial There's also a crazy twist in the Dishonored 2 level (spoilers ahead): It not only consist of a present and past version, but also a altered timeline version. When you do a certain action, you change the past and the present version changes. It doesn't change too much, as in the normal version the mansion is abanded and in the alternate timeline it's being renovated, but a lot of details are different and one side character is also changed, as a certain incident didn't happen.
@@GameBrainOfficial It's not that complicated, maybe I just explained it very bad. When you knock out or kill the owner of the mansion, he can't attend the meeting and won't lose his mind, wich changes the present version of the level and some story stuff.

It was interesting that this campaign came out almost exactly the same time as Dishonored 2 featured an almost identical concept of time travel. It was well executed in both games without feeling like either was a ripoff of the other. IMO one of the greatest video game moments of all time, that also happened in the 2010's was the ending of Portal 2 when you shoot the moon. The build up to that point in the game was perfectly satisfied by that awesome moment. All the clues were given to you throughout the game so you could figure it out but they still let you feel like it was your own brilliant idea.
Yes, Portal did a good job making you used to the white context clues throughout the game...then that moment when you were looking at the moon, you'd be like ".....ooooh, this is gonna be good"
I think dishonored 2’s time travel mission is amazing. I can’t imagine titanfalls to be as immersive. I am possibly buying it just for the campaign and look forward to it.
I can definitely recommend Titanfall 2. I played the campaign 3 years ago and last year again and i just loove it. The Time travels are amazing and i can promise you, you will love BT and the way he interacts with you.
These games always blew my mind Like on accident I found an easter egg in the first game where there was this map with a reactor in the middle. If you ejected from you titan inside the building, you could get on one of the rings that were on the top of the reactor. Sitting there was a turtle.
Titanfall 2 was my first ever PlayStation 4 game, and I absolutely adored it, it is one of the only games that I would replay the single player and I believe its underrated. Thank you respawn for giving me an interactive story that I will never get bored off.
Probably my favorite part was that the gameplay ads are probably the least clickbaity ads, because they seem so dumbed down from the actual gameplay its absurd.
I will always keep Titanfall 2 downloaded on my console just so I can occasionally go back and play this level. I will also always spend several minutes in the frozen time to admire the detail of it all.
Sadly, they were. With the hype around Battle Royale last year, they used the progress of TF3 and put it into Apex. They dropped the ball for a fuggin battle royale

THIS is exactly what Sci-fi COD would have been if IW was given such freedom. Phenomenal game- you could extract several games from individual elements such as the movement, Titan combat, Multiplayer style, campaign design, etc. What's even more amazing is how on an entirely different engine, it still FEELS like COD, but much more refined and dare I say... augmented.
While Overwatch and Titanfall started the same way where the first iteration was multiplayer only because of the lack of resources they had, Titanfall 2 came out great. While Blizzard is known for their engaging stories and shorts, I don't think Overwatch 2 could come close to what Titanfall 2 had achieved because they had an actual deadline, and they didn't have a recent layoff.
GOD I WANT THIS GAME TO POP OFF LIKE IT SHOULD.....it’s fucking perfection....seriously like i don’t even think halo had as many perfect reviews as this game. And i want titan fall 3 SO. FUCKING. BAD. but i know it’s just going to end up getting fucked up now that they aren’t independent.....
I feel betrayed by Vince and other guys from Respawn until they finally announce TF|3. Definitely the best SP and MP in one brilliant game... I am so angry on gaming community for ignoring the series.
It's the second part of your comment that is right, it's the gaming community at fault for not appreciating this game. Too many kids buying too many useless junk with parent's money since they don't know any better, the 16+ or 18+ age limit is the easiest to get around. Vince's and Respawn's hands are tied down since money pretty much decides your future as a company, and Apex made more money than Titanfall 2..

I bought this game thx to apex legends and it was probably, hands down, the most enjoyable first person campaign experience.
Same, and now I cant play more boots-on-the-ground shooters because I like being able to run around on walls and basically fly around at maximum speed.
@@smonk7621 same. I've developed a habit of trying to slide hop even when playing other games.
@@switchtheflip9422 I've been playing it since October 2017 and the whole bunny hopping mechanic has followed me into literally every other game I play. It really pissed me off when I realized I couldn't do it in Apex Legends considering it's in the same universe as Titanfall
I need a tf3
Edit: titanfall 3 NOT team fortress 3
VeloBlynk We need a tf3
Tf4
Yeah i'd like team fortress 3 to be a thing
The fuck 3
this reminded me of Mechwarrior 3 (MW3) trailer angry CoD fans stopped by and threw a ton of dislikes on it
2:24 is probably one of the best transitions i've ever seen
Thanks! I try to keep things fresh. More than anything it keeps me engaged in the edit, challenging myself to find the best way to get from clip to another. Thanks for watching! Any suggestions for future videos?
@@GameBrainOfficial Maybe do another "The Making of ____" episode. Something like the outer wilds or something like that!
Excellent video, man, this level is incredible from every angle.
Even though it was almost a decade ago when I played it, We Don't Go To Ravenholm from Half Life 2 is still one of the most memorable single player experiences for me.
I’ve played Titanfall 2 so much that hearing Commander Briggs yell “Standby for Titanfall!” Is like engraved in my brain
That is crazy, do you prefer one level over another though?
That sounds so complicated@@LeDonPraes, did you find that easy to keep track of?
@@GameBrainOfficial It's not that complicated, maybe I just explained it very bad. When you knock out or kill the owner of the mansion, he can't attend the meeting and won't lose his mind, wich changes the present version of the level and some story stuff.

Unsubbed and disliked.
Can’t believe you killed a MRVN.
Ajc 7575 not to mention whoever was playing sucked
Sped Wagon ouch
i cant believe u done this
Sped Wagon lol nah looks like he was just enjoying his time just as i do in games.
MRVNs are made to be punching bags. The only dislikable part is not punching them personally.
i still remember this campaign. thinking about buying the game again so i can replay it on pc
i did that. really enjoyed it in pc. more snappy n all. its a shame the pvp player base is so tiny on aussie servers because its hard to find games even in peak hrs
Absolutely loved this! By far the best level I have ever had the pleasure of playing. But just the fact that others find this game as amazing as I do, is outstanding. Titanfall deserves so much more love than what it got, but it’s people like you that help keep it alive.
What an awesome game! Thank God I got it for free with PS plus, otherwise I might've never gotten around to playing it
Titanfall 2 is my favourite game, hope we will get a titanfall 3
After the success of apex legends I'd say ea would give them the chance
@@Wolf-E_VA Titanfall 3 on e3 or we riot
Just update tf2 we don't need a titan fall 3, just yet at least
Shizzy Well, Titanfall 2 didn’t get much attention. Updating a game doesn’t give much attention as making an entirely new one. I’m only saying this cause Titanfall *DESERVES* more attention desperately.
With Titanfall 2 being the masterpiece it is, i honestly can't imagine what amazing missions they are going to give us in Titanfall 3 (if they are even making a sequel :( )
Yeah they will after the 10 years of apex legends (I think)
A while ago they said they were thinking about it, but then they recently said they have no plans of doing so anytime soon D:
Then they said something may happen in a few years so who knows
We need a Titanfall 3...
QC yes
They are aware of how amazing titanfall 2 but are too busy with apex sadly.
@@scaredstar9127 Apex Legends made more people interested in the Titanfall franchise. Even in this standalone BR game they're giving stories that connects to Titanfall. We didn't know if Respawn is gonna make a sequel but since the time they surprised us with Apex, they might as well surprise us again with Titanfall 3.
@@johncarlofernandez2698 im well aware of what apex is doing, i can see the numbers jump up and down on every seasonal update, even with the minor connections to the titanfall 2 universe since they have wraith backstory and the cause and effect mission its always going to be a grey area lore wise cus of funky time business
This game has a special place in my heart. Thank you for making this video :)
I'm still waiting for tf3. Come on, Respawn!
I am now playing Apex but you know...Titanfall 3 would be really awesome
Raptor Swire imagine if apex got a bunch of mini campaigns for each legend
Holy crap that would be awesome.
These games always blew my mind
Like on accident I found an easter egg in the first game where there was this map with a reactor in the middle.
I played through the singleplayer 3 Times and one time with a friend
Probably my favorite part was that the gameplay ads are probably the least clickbaity ads, because they seem so dumbed down from the actual gameplay its absurd.
So everyone just got this recommended in the past hour
Yeah
yeah
Yep. But I love Titanfall 2 and it’s campaign.
Yeah
Literally i just finish titanfall 2 and this appear as recommended
I will always keep Titanfall 2 downloaded on my console just so I can occasionally go back and play this level. I will also always spend several minutes in the frozen time to admire the detail of it all.
I want to see the game mechanics in titanfall 3, respawn needs to get on that and start making it
Sadly, they were. With the hype around Battle Royale last year, they used the progress of TF3 and put it into Apex. They dropped the ball for a fuggin battle royale
@@themagicslinky1773 But Apex is actually more than a br due to its amazing story and loving characters.
@@Miunim I understand people's love for the game. Although it has a great story and lovable characters, there is no denying it is a battle royale, and the satisfying combat could have only came from the likes of titanfall, in this scenario the development of a 3rd installment that could have been greater
They are most definitely still developing titanfall 3. If anything it just got delayed by apex legends
Titan Fall 2 multiplayer was Ahead of it's time 👌
Not many people stayed playing cause it was so hard to master. The one's who stayed, Cheers 🍷
It was pretty easy though. I've never performed as well in any other game as I did in Titanfall 2
No not many people stayed playing because the release for it was squeezed between cod and bf

I got gen 10 in titanfall 1 and was super hyped for tf2. I really just couldn't stand the amount of abilities that let you see through walls, also the map design was kinda bad when compared to tf1 aswell as just general feel like what happened to the first person animations?
@@brunobytes366 There's only 3 abilities that do that. One is a boost, one is a Pilot ability, and one is a Titan ability about locking onto other Titans with the side effect of a sonar pulse.
I do agree on the map design and first person animations, though
Really the only time I've ever made myself sad from being good at a game is when I managed to get to the point where I could blaze through this whole level in like 3min
That sounds like a good sadness in many ways...any other games you're that good at though?
@@GameBrainOfficial guess not
Best game of all time. I buy other games and play them but they never compare to this game. I play the others for a while but I always come back to this game and still play to this day.

miss BT no matter what, i guess?buddy?
Titanfall 2 is a great game and I encourage everyone who hasn’t to try it out
One of my most favourite levels ever. Wish an entire game was made up of this mechanic
This is one of the best games of the decade and we (the fans) love this game. You guys are reviving the mech world and bringing shooters the game we all want. Thank you and for real.. make TF3 PLEASE! Ill give you all my monies, i dont care. Lol

WE WANT TF3! Glob dangit!
I love watching noclip out of bounds videos of this level, really shows you how the game works
Interesting! What about it the out of bounds did you find most interesting?

respawn studio is something special
I feel betrayed by Vince and other guys from Respawn until they finally announce TF|3.
Definitely the best SP and MP in one brilliant game... I am so angry on gaming community for ignoring the series.
It's the second part of your comment that is right, it's the gaming community at fault for not appreciating this game. Too many kids buying too many useless junk with parent's money since they don't know any better, the 16+ or 18+ age limit is the easiest to get around.
Vince's and Respawn's hands are tied down since money pretty much decides your future as a company, and Apex made more money than Titanfall 2..
And the story although what they said it pieced together amazingly
My favourite game of all time
Senpai lite our*
The love put into this made me cry

Ok I love titanfall 2 and and I especially love this level. But no one seems to remember the level from Dishonored 2 that has this exact premise.
Probably because it wasn't as memorable and well made? I forgot I even played that mission lol
I played both aswell, but I prefer TF2s, it just feels better with how fluently the time travel combines with the games movement system.
I played that level and it was pretty good but it wasn't as fluid in my mind
I have never heard anyone trying to compare the two games LMAO What a rando ass comparison to make.
Nighthawk Viper I’m not saying the games are similar in any way. It’s just they both have a level where you are in a location that allows you to travel between the past and the present.
Please god please make a titanfall 3
Greatest game in decades and best level in decades, and BT gotta come back in titanfall 3 right?
BT sends a message to your Pilot helmet in binary Morse code at the end of credits that says, "Jack?".
