At the $2800+ price point, I will have to hope that PRS puts it in their SE lineup. I moved over from Fender to PRS after seeing the QC lacking with Fender in comparison to PRS in similar categories. Now own 5 PRS guitars
Gotta say that I’m probably picking one up. I sold all of my Fender gear quite a while back and have gone almost exclusively to PRS. Yes, I freely admit I’m a fanboy but I didn’t jump on these at first. I’ve been missing having a T-style since that is what I predominantly played for years. Started searching again, looking at Nash, Suhr, Tom Anderson, K-Line, and similar. Price wise, the PRS is in the middle of the pack there. I’ve got a line on one heck of a deal for an MK and this video might have just convinced me.
Hi John. I enjoy the concept of giving the scores to a guitar which is the difference between your channel and other channels. But I would like to make a suggestion to benchmark your scores against other guitars that would score 10’s in your criteria. In addition, you seemed to be blown away by the playability, so why not give it a 10? Thanks for the content!
I think the same. Raves about the playability. Why not a ten? It’s pricey but the *non-custom shop* is close in price and no way near the guitar this is. So why is the value only 8.2? Value is price relative to what you get. The video content raves about the guitar. Priced like a high-end fender but likely no contest. All these people claiming the price is too high. You will get what you pay for in this instance.
I don’t know if it’s the pickguard that’s throwing me off or it’s just not shaped right. It kind of looks like someone took a bite out of a marshmallow and threw a prs neck on it. Still a cool video thanks for sharing.
yep no binding, body is meh, paint job looks meh, really plain neck not even mother of pearl inlays. I can't get behind this as much as I love the artist and PRS guitars.
There is something to be said about PRS necks but nothing about this guitar is worth the money. This guy's playing and tone do not help sell this guitar.
I like the content but you lost me on the value rating, I would say it is a "6" at best. And Karnak says (sealed envelope to my forehead) these will not hold value at all. You pay msrp and you will be lucky to get 50% down the road....just Karnak's opinion 😁
@@InjectBleach It appears you may not know guitarists that well. But I'm going to side with you, even if he is not a good guitar players, he is definitely a better guitar player than you are 🤣🤣🤣 If you want to prove us wrong, please submit your guitar video or band's songs. Anyhow, Myles is actually a great guitar player and soloist... have seen Alter Bridge live and honestly he is right next to Tremonti and sometimes he steals the show as far as guitar playing goes.
Love the may-saying peanut gallery who hasn’t seen it in person let alone played it. Someone find me a review that isn’t glowing and I’ll pass on this.
I laughed when he said 2900 dollars. GTFO out of here PRS. Gotta be smoking something. Theres no way in hell the BOM for making this guitar is even half of what they are asking. Also nothing about this Tele strikes me as exceptional or worthy of the PRS line. The neck is cheap looking, so is the body, the pickups are uninspiring, it's not even a bound neck and they are asking top PRS money for it??? The S2 is a much better value for an american made guitar. This price point for this is absurd and out of touch. Anyone who buys this either hates their money is just that big of a fan of Myles Kennedy.

Have on PRS (SE ONE) would love to add a SE version of this one to the collection.

It's the headstock. There's a different color where the headstock matches the neck and it looks way better
differnt color for me , but i like it . .
I doubt Mr. Tele is worried.
Not a bit. One Ugly guitar .
Great sounding instrument but it's not a T.
Nor does it sound like one. But it's a great sounding guitar!
Sounds pretty much like a Les Paul when using humbuckers.
PRS think more of their guitars than I do. Hard pass on this one especially at that price. Rock on!
🤘
Wheres the giveaway link?
Check back next week, under construction! Thanks for watching
Im a gibson fan but i must say fender telecaster way better
For me, this was a miss for PRS. It kinda looks like a Tele, but it is no tele. It looks pretty basic for the price they are asking for.
yep no binding, body is meh, paint job looks meh, really plain neck not even mother of pearl inlays. I can't get behind this as much as I love the artist and PRS guitars.
Does it play itself ? For nearly $3,000.00 dollars it should ! Nothing about it jumps out and says pay 💰 up ?
Why buy a copy of a tele when you can just buy a tele?

The pickguard not a good design. It is better no pickguard
I like Myles Kennedy but I always thought of him as more a singer than a guitarist, he has a a signature guitar / Tele ? and for $2899 😬, yikes !
Actually he is a very good guitarist.

@@InjectBleachhe is a fantastic guitarist! You know nothing obviously.
$2899..... HELL NO!

The Tele has buried many better guitar's than this.

Seems extremely overpriced
Expensive and nothing special definitely won’t see my money
2899 plus tax? No thanks
That is the artist tax.
It doesn't even sound good 😂
Non mi piace il colore bianco, ma i suoni sono molto belli ed è molto versatile, bella esteticamente, prezzo molto alto ma in linea con la qualità.
Same. Hard, hard pass.
I agree. Too high for this guitar with this spec. I would much rather buy a real Tele for a lot less
