Butter can also be gently melted, where solids are removed, as straining through cheese cloth or dipping off, where you have ghee which can stay out!

I was raised in the North West Territories, we still used gas lanterns for lite, wood for stoves and heat Dog Teams and Canoes to travel.
The only milk you could purchase was " Klim" a powdered milk. The only butter came in cans, and bulk, in ten gallon Oak kegs.
The Oak kegs were in demand, when empty of Butter.
    Great for making our Beer.
Very few men could drink five glasses of beer and walk home.

Kudos for pronouncing kefir properly but STOP showing the picture of GRAINS along with it. Kefir looks like tiny heads of cauliflower and has NOTHING to do with wheat.

Do you think the Amish could be able to make ice cream like people did before refrigeration was invented?

Pour whole milk I to a quart jar and shake for about 20 min soon you will see the milk get thicker and thicker... then it will look like it's separating but just keep shakeing...then there will be more and more liquid pour this liquid off but save for pancakes instead of milk it tasts much better meanwhile keep shaking that jar and more liquid will come off but not as much. Drain like the first. Thats buttermilk. Then put the butter in ice cold water and with very clean hands squeeze the butter in the ice water , changing until the water is clear. When the ice water is completely clear. Remove from water and pat dry with paper towels until it starts to stick adding about a tablespoon of salt work salt in and put in parchment paper or in containers and refrigerate or freeze you have butter. May also buy half and half from store and make . Also it's easier to put it in the blender and follow the same process. 😂😂😂😅😅😅😊

Want to make Greek yogurt? But sm Nancy's plain yogurt and use 1 helping tablespoon to half and half whisk very well to mix per quart. Then add lid and put in oven with only the light on over night ..in the morning yogurt. It will last about 2 mo. Only if you use clean spoons each time you take some out. Never taste and dip again it will contaminate all of it. After it's cold take out what you want to eat add honey, vanilla, fresh fruit or maplecsyrup .. you will never buy from a store again.😂😂😂

Making powdered milk, there is a type of dryer, where like fuel injectors on a car, pressurized milk is atomized into this tower that has dry air blowing the atomized milk upward, when it’s dry it floats up higher going into a catcher. Eggs are done the same way! Commercial operation. Yet surely one can make one at home! Sheet metal as copper or stainless steel pipe can be bought, where a smaller version can probably be made like a popcorn air popper, a bit bigger, just guessing!

Well in the first three minutes he mentioned putting milk in a home dehydrator or a pan on the oven on low and stirring regularly. Which I guess could work if you have three days to stand at a stove. All the dissembling sounds suspiciously like propaganda, tbh.
