You really need to learn about stock markets and trading rules. All stock markets have trading curbs to make sure moves are not due to Fat finger trades or trading errors. Some have 5% moves others up to 10%. Then the market is halted for a few minutes to settle an auction and find a new level with equal amount of buyers and sellers. Some markets will trading halt for the rest of the day after 20% move - or until there is a drop in price under/above the 20% move. It is based on decades of experience and the BTC market could learn a lot from stock trading.

Your last remark shows you really need to learn about the Bitcoin market. It’s not controlled by one or two clearinghouses. It’s a free market and it never closes. If you can’t handle volatility, stick to fiat world rules.
Reason why many still fail in the crypto market is because they still believe in buying and holding crypto for them to sell when it gets high. Crypto trading is beyond that now because the price can fall anytime and when it falls you'll lose your money, the most lucrative way to excel now is investing your little crypto in a stock market and it will be growing steadily. I just hit Five hundred and thirty thousand dollars in my portfolio today from my tesla stock investment.
Yes you're absolutely correct on this. my portfolio is currently at 350,000 dollars marking 25% increases from last year when I joined the stock market.
