Dumped always felt off to me as an episode. It made me sad as a kid to see Gary just abandon SpongeBob, even if it was explained at the end. The bootleg SpongeBob also always creeped me out, the blank stare seemed as if it was endless. Seeing the two combined into something that's sad and scary is a childhood nightmare come true. Vibing Leaf did an excellent job on this video.

This is totally off topic but sadness and fear have stuck me in a nightmare I had when I was 5-7, I don’t feel like randomly telling the nightmare though
word. the episode made me uncomfortable to begin with, something about it was just so upsetting to me as a kid-- it makes the creepypasta more effective by not only just being creepy in its own right but also bringing back those uncomfortable feelings from watching the OG episode
I was a very sensitive kid, and hearing “Gary Come Home” irreversibly changed me- even now when I hear the song, it absolutely tears me up inside seeing SpongeBob at such a low point, reminiscing about someone he really loved. It almost feels as though he’s grieving his death and can’t come to terms.
Edit: I realize the song came from an entirely different episode, but the vibe still feels the same. Especially the scene where Gary stumbles upon the closet filled with the old shells of previous snails that died in that lady’s care. It was played off as a surprising thing but reflecting on it, it’s honesty unnerving.
For me, the biggest part is how cruel Patrick is in this episode. He’s supposed to be Spongebob’s best friend, but he’s all to happy to take his snail away from him. And the lecture at the end about how Spongebob just needs to grow up and move on is just pouring a margarita on the open wound, it’s so callous. People go on about how the later seasons turn Patrick into an absolute ass (which they do) but there were also early-season eps that do this too. Moments where he’s a horrible friend have always existed.
The whole “cookie in his pocket” thing always felt weird, too, and like too quick of a fix considering how badly Spongebob was hurt. The whole episode, cartoonish antics aside, feels a little too much like an actual breakup where someone you know steals your partner, only to parade them around in public like nothing happened. And maybe one of the writers was going through something like that, making the whole episode feel off.
VibingLeaf's take on all of these SpongeBob creepypastas are so damn good.
How that person managed to take a basic creepypasta and twist it into something this disturbing is way beyond me, and I can't appreciate it enough.

I remember putting the tv on for white noise, and it was one of the newer episodes of Spongebob. That Red Mist easter egg came on tv for a split second. It scared the crap out of me. I had to search it up to make sure I didn't imagine it. It's funny, but I'm shocked that was able to be added.
Yeah, it had me double-checking to see if I hadn't just hallucinated since your brain can do that to you sometimes. Sadly, they changed it to Squidward as a baby cuz Viacom doesn't wanna take any 'risks' with Spongebob.

At this point. I wouldn't be surprised if Vibing Leaf becomes well known for being the next generation's childhood trauma.
Most likely remaking the original childhood traumas into even more than that
I just really love what VibingLeaf does on RUclips, this video is both unnerving and depressing at the same time by showing how depressed SpongeBob was when Gary was with his best friend, that "Mr. Krabs" voice near the end really unnerved me the most because he sounded completely out of character.
My theory is that the voice that spoke to SpongeBob was the Lies Fish, he also mentioned "stop lying to yourself"

This is definitely one of my favourite takes by vibing leaf the one thing that stands out to me is the voice in spongebobs head using the words "my boy" which relates to Mr krabs since I think he's the only character who uses that towards spongebob
I had the top comment in that video but it is pretty simple to analyze. His mental health is on the verge of letting some really intrusive and destructive thoughts in. That he is not good enough for his own pet and if this is connecting to red mist retake, then the lies fish formed from his own self doubts about what happened to squidward. Red mist shook Spongebob so much that he is having a mental breakdown over his own pet leaving him

Love seeing how the kids who grew up with creepypastas are now recreating and honoring them, to make them better and less childish
This is a pretty good review, but one thing i think youtubers are getting wrong is that spongebob is having an "Inner monologue" the voice isnt him but actually the nickelodeon fish. As its a main villian in vibinleafs creations.
I think the voice that was talking to SpongeBob was slowly turning Mr Krabs for a moment and was using the voice of someone he considered a friend to get to him.
I think one of the reasons why tapes like this one are so unnerving is the way SpongeBob is portrayed in the show, as with other cartoon characters- they’re usually the comedic relief or the happy, friendly character, so to see them in a depressive state really rips you away from what’s happening in the show sometimes because it feels so unnatural. I think it’s one of the reasons why seeing SpongeBob in such a heartbroken state at times hurt me so badly as a kid, it just felt wrong.
I like that modern video editing and stuff can allow these actually decent recreations of some of these old creepypastas.

small correction, at 3:09 you say creepypastas are internet horror stories, but creepypastas are copypastas that are meant to be scary, a copypasta is a text (most often a few sentences or paragraphs) that has been copy pasted into oblivion
I have a theory, The voice yelling at SpongeBob and insulting him is the lies fish, in the lies video vibing made, the fish was mocking SpongeBob.
Dumped is the PERFECT episode for a creepypasta, the episode is dark and very out of place in nature, almost seeming like a "lost episode" by itself, but putting a haunting twist on that is genius

Honesty they took an eyeroll inducing creepy pasta and made it too fucking real. That kinda inner monologue is what can truly destroy a person.
Also with the blinking thing in the original- that can happen if you stare at any static image with open eyes, especially if you're trying to see if it blinks 😂 It's called psyching yourself out. Sorry, hearing that particular "creepy" will never not make laugh.

VibingLeaf is the best creator for creepypasta remakes, they made: the grieving, squidward suicide, and bootleg Spongebob. I hope that they continue with more word based creepypastas

Hi. I’m Jeremy. I work at Glich and works on Murder Drones. A show that is set on a planet called Copper-9. Here is a story about a Beta File of the Pilot.
When I was doodling My favorite character Thad. A Co-worker named Jack said: “did you know there was a beta of the Pilot?” I said no and Jack said he would send me the file when I get home. I usually get home at about 1:30 PM.
Once I got home he gave me the file. With the file. I started to watch the beta.
The intro was pretty normal. Except Uzi’s voice actor was different.
Once we got to see uzi. she looked different.
Her hair was red. Her eyes was tan. And her clothes were brown. Most of the characters were the same however.
The scenes were pretty much the Same so I skipped forward to the scene to where Uzi meets N. But then I noticed something. The scene where Uzi meets N is where the videos end.
When Uzi meets N. N has red eyes. Uzi tried to use her railgun but it didn’t work. Then. N attacked Uzi. And Killing her. Then. The video ends. It was weird and a little scary. If you somehow find this. You can watch it but I wouldn’t recommend watching it.
