Ah, A Day With Spongebob Squarepants. One of the most infamous pieces of lost media IMO. Anyways, thanks for watching! I know this mystery has been done to death, but I felt like taking my own spin on it; cultivating the complete history of the search into one mini documentary. And, like I said on twitter, I plan on doing more mini documentaries so stay tuned! BIG thanks to Mullet Mike, Jack Nolan, Ketsa, Spin Master Mugen, Nolan, and everyone who helped me make this video!

@@treywilliams5163 I too would think that but, you got the allegedly the site having a virus and the whole entire thing about them seemingly changing their locations a lot and when someone was asked about were they can send their film too them they got directed to a saloon it makes things look sketchy and makes their reactions add to the sketchiness so I can see why people would think there was a laundry scheme or something going on.
personally I wouldn't be surprised if there they are doing something like a laundry scheme but I do agree with the theory I have found in this comment section that the main reason why they are acting this way about the film is mostly because of copyright ad there just trying to avoid a lawsuit.
That much money raised on Kickstarter with so few backers? An Asian massage parlor with happy endings? Organic foods? It all points to money laundering.
-The kid on the cover of the movie is from a stock photo
-The quotes on the cover of the movie are all fake
-The company that “made the movie” has multiple aliases and even its supposed ex-employee admits that it’s a sketchy cash grab
-The company’s website has a virus on it
-The company freaks out after its fucking answering machine gets leaked
-An “ex-employee” of the company tries to encourage people to stop looking for the movie
-Someone shows up to the companies headquarters only to find an abandoned tenant in a random mall
-Nobody wants to have anything to do with the company
-The supposed owner of the company has an alias
-The company address that Lorenzo provides leads to a random sexual massage business
-The supposed owner of the company is noticeably awkward and evasive during the calls
-Every time it looks like the movie is going to be released, literally nothing happens and there’s no explanation
-There is no evidence that anyone has seen this movie or that it exists
This must be totally legal activity, there’s definitely nothing weird or sketchy about this!

@boombasher103 another one you could add on to your list is the fact that the winner of the "Spend a Day with Spongebob contest" consistently changes. first it was a kid name Seth in the beginning of the video then at 7:21 the ex-employee of the company(the one that tried to encourage people to stop finding the movie) says that it was Patchy the Pirate who won the contest instead then at the end of the video when Blameitonjorge explains the script of the movie we see that the "supposed" winner might be a kid name Andy instead(though idk if it's true).

@@Top10Dylan Comparing the two, you're right. I am impressed by the version that user made, it was designed so well to be creepy. It checks all the boxes, bass so low it practically vibrates you, treble so high it sounds like cries, and none of the notes ever ended, they just sort of lingered away.
It also appears to maybe be a trend to make disturbing versions of the theme

This was definitely some kind of money making scheme, three different companies tied to regal films that have nothing to do with filmmaking, the peoples standoffish attitudes about regal films and anything involved, abandoned locations, the managers secrecy about his films, this just stinks of something far more suspicious than lost media

To me, this is the scariest piece of lost media out there. You never know who's lying, what's true, what's not, or even if it is real. Plus, how could someone gain the theme song for a (probably) nonexistent movie? That's what makes this whole entire thing, creepy...

Let me explain
The feeling you get (the ominous and creepy vibe) when you see lost media is something everyday. You are not used to seeing it, as it has been something noone saw for years. When it is found again, you are not used to seeing something that has been not in sight for lots of years. Seeing this is old, it can get a creeper vibe, as it could be faded out or something pretty unusual. Lets take the MTM St. Elsewheres Final logo as an example. Mimsie is shot "dead" in the golden frame that she is usually meowing in every logo. That is a piece of lost media and cannot be found again. As it has been found, the 7 billion people around the world havent seen it yet, or have seen it once a long time ago. When you see something for the first time in years, you get that nostaligic vibe, but it can scare some, as they arent used to be seeing something again. This also goes for the mysterious Clockman too. I dont want this to become a Big Hippo, so i might do another part of this when i have time. Fin.

Considering that we don’t have access to the movie, it’s possible that an older scene was a reference to A Day With Spongebob this entire time, we just don’t know it yet.
They made a reference to it in SpongeBob: The Cosmic Shake trailer.
About the "Theme Song", it has nothing do with the actual mystery and wasn't made to troll people, it was just the theme song someone had made for a spongebob fanfic of the same name.

5:18 Let me tell you something about Hastings. They were (RIP 2016) like a Best Buy / Radio Shack where you could place orders on games, movies, and hardware. I remember placing an order in 2004 for a Command & Conquer game that was supposed to arrive in two weeks. I called back periodically for six months with each time being told "two more weeks". For the lols, I called back in 2014 (10 years later) to find my order still pending, and the employee who answered told me "should arrive in two weeks".

Not to jump to extremes on a seven month old vid, but the massage parlor thing is a bit concerning. My brain instantly said "The entire company is trying to hide a prostitution ring, maybe even sex slavery". I'm probably just paranoid, but maybe people should try to expose this company a bit more.
The fact that a female investigator in this whole scheme got screamed at while males had no such reaction other than to "never speak again" to other females involved with Regal is disconcerting. Something is going on with the women involved in this group...

It's all just so...weird. Odd. What was Reagal Films doing? Did this movie ever really exist? Why is everyone attached to it so upset at the mention of Reagal Films? What happened to MVD? So many questions, so little answers.
It could be that Regal Films/MVD are fronts for money laundering. To make payments between people looking to launder their money, they would have them connected one way or another somewhere, if they ever needed an alibai as to why they are sending payments to these people, and as to why only Lorenzo and Orange would talk to them. This would be because only the two creators would have come up with stories/alibais for themselves as a cover in case they were ever found out by authorities.
@@darthsidious6380 As far as I can tell, MVD is a legitimate group, but just didn't want to get tangled up in it. But yes, after some research I can only assume Reagal was doing Money Laundering- Which is why everyone who asked about it was hyper aggressive. Lorenzo and Orange probably only caved because they realized that people just wanted to know what the movie was and if it existed. It looks like Yae! Organics actually caught on as far as a legitimate product, thus why Reagal Films and their "divisions" disappeared.
