If your family is still Christian, feel free to join mine. My brother died of cancer too and you sort of remind me of a younger version of him. My family is pretty much all liberals and mostly atheist/agnostic. I’m lucky that way. Good luck with your new channel.

I love both of those shows! I honestly don't think I've ever nailed down a firm opinion in my head about transgender issues, but I 100% support all trans people and I want to be a good friend and ally in any way I can! I've never called into any shows before (because I always feel nervous about it haha), but I'll definitely consider that as I ask more questions and try to learn more :)
@@atheistjake Aww, Thanks so much for the support! I was on the first two episodes of the TA CIShow. Trust me, those two are very patient and detailed. Especially Katy and her long ass rants! lol Their both super amazing hosts! I've also called in to the regular Line show that airs on Sundays. I'm that caller that takes for ever to get the question and point out. And I forgot what I what I was saying sometimes. Curse you ADHD! lol All the hosts are wonderful people though! If you're curious as to the subject/questions I presented, they have me down as Chelsea from North Carolina. It's not Chelsea tho. It's Chelsey, with a 'y' at the end. It's common mistake. lol Also, if you have any questions you'd like to ask me regarding trans-issues I'd be happy to answer them. Thanks again!

Hi Jake! I'm really proud of you for becoming an atheist after growing up in the church. I am 66 years old and was an extremely committed Christian from age 17 to 41. Hipocrasy within the church is why I left plus all the contradictions in the bible. I hope in the future you will get more specific about certain subjects, like why a particular passage in the bible is untrue, for instance, or why the god of the old testament was so cruel and immoral. Just some suggestions. I encourage you to keep up the good work!

Hi Rosemary, I was wondering if you would elaborate more on what you feel are contradictions within the scriptures and also if as a former "christian" of many years if you actually took the time to understand a Hebraic perspective and Hebrew and Greek word definitions? Thanks for your time and explanations in advance.
Edit: I can understand the hypocrisy you speak of however I know I can't let that be a basis because pretty much anyone can be a hypocrite aside from any religious beliefs or not.

I don't have a good reason why tbh, other than the fact that I grew up loving Bionicles and had this image saved on my phone when I created my channel. The thinking expression, combined with the mask, seemed funny to use as an icon for a skeptical atheist's channel, so I kinda left it there haha. I'm glad you caught it tho! XD

And God destroyed everyone except Noahs fam. we want to do the sin and not get the consequences that come with the sin. Kind a like a felon who wants to do the crime but not the time. There has to be justice.

@@SFayeLewis I do not have imagnery friends or imagnery enemys. The presented citation that I have seen to your claims and other claims like them in the past leads me to misleading half truths, logical fallicies, and outright lies. You do not have to allow yourself to be trolled by supernatural primitive god claims.
