In this installment, I share an update on adding heating and cooling to my collection room which up until this point has been extreemly cold or hot depending on the time of year. I really thought I would be fine without it, but quickly realized something needed to be done.
A ductless HVAC system, or mini-split, is a type of air-conditioning and heating system that uses individual, wall-mounted blowers to provide temperature control in one room or area. Instead of using ductwork, the individual units are connected by a refrigerant line set to a single outdoor condensing unit.

Daikin (Goodman) is an ok brand long as the person who installed it was a professional. They’re really cool and super energy efficient but can also get pricey when they start to fail. Often times I find clients replacing units instead of repairing.

Yes they were professional and very knowledgeable. The original one they wanted to put in was back ordered 3 or 4 months, so they recommended this one.
