    Hello Miquel Your lovely surprise to me as usual There's adoration here for scotch bonnet especially ones as crunchy yellow green as those you have. Do you want to swap some spam for some Jamaican scotch bonnets, Is Spam the one for you? or there's the same stuff in other packaging you know... yeah wanna do a swap I send you spam from Uk?

      Irish Potato could work, peel it, cut it thin, decorate it, rinse it with salt water, let it dry/drain on paper towel, and then use it. You can try chest Nuts as well.

    What are the seeds you use in the recipe? They look a bit like pepper corns, but they are too big. And the greenish fruit? I did not catch the names. Thank you very much, I have a ton of scotch bonnet peppers to preserve! :)

      mary neville the seeds are known as pimento seeds or whole allspice. The green vegetable is called chocho in some islands, it is called chayote squash in some parts of the Western World

    How long do you let it marinate for before you use it?

    • @JamaicanFoodRecipes
      @JamaicanFoodRecipes  9 лет назад

      +Trucker 340 The purpose of pickling is to preserve and store to avoid early spoilage. You can use it same time.....

    Yow miguel, I like to watch your cooking videos but seriously man u need to get a cutting board and a good set of chef knives, and also if u showing a video what's up with your face?? How comes u never show your face?? I've watch many cooking videos, but never see any one hide their face. When u show your face it makes you more confident and I think I you will get a bigger audience, people would definitely be more interested to watch, please do t take this in a bad way God bless
