Trains can move some pretty heavy cargo and they sometimes use specialized railcars to get the job done!

When I was on holiday in the US in 2018, while waiting for a train to Vancouver from Seattle a train carrying a load of Boeing 737 fuselages came through the station. That was quite a sight !

    Yeah, that’s bad.
In April of 2022, my mother and I were recording at UP’s Ennis yard in North Texas. It was a nice day. A GP15 cut-hood and an SD40-2 were doing switching operations. But just down the track on a siding (still in the yard) was four GEs lashed together.
We filmed them as they were prepared for a light move, and a C44-9W’s air bleed valve had gone berserk and was making that ridiculous clicking noise while another (an AC44CW) billowed fumes out it’s exhaust. Only the GEVOs were not in horrible condition.
It was the most fun thing we’ve ever filmed, even to this day…despite the equipment having seen better days.

Can't wait for the "Rocket Train" video👍 The wife and I went to Sheffield AL to see it come through. They had to take the NA line because of the drawbridge in Decatur. I was a little uneasy when this high and wide you were filming was going through that part of the yard where those derails kept happening. Awesome video, brother 👍

In Britain we do all this by road, and even specialised barges to take loads around the country, you mentioned 15 miles in an hour and a bit, UK heavy haulage mostly runs at walking pace with a cast of dozens rather than driver conductor and caboose persons, must save a fortune over the distances you need to cover, they must still transfer to road for some of the last portions though.

Not that it is any massive secret however do you really think it’s a good idea for you to voluntarily give up the itinerary have it consist which may be sensitive….I am well aware that there’s a monetary value but do you really want to……? Is it really worth worth that….!!! Part of the issue in the reason that the world is in the shape it’s in is because there were piles of north Americans both United States citizens and Canadian citizens it’s pretty cocky of the US to say we are the United States of America when the whole place is north and south America and we may or may not be one country in that scenario any idea….How many countries there maybe in North America and South America but yet someone is granted special interest to call themselves the United States of America don’t get me wrong I don’t have any issues and I’m happy to be here and I’m fortunate however my beef with this in particular although I went off on a tangent there momentarily don’t start feeding out secrets as to when vehicles are moving with particular components whether it be military or whether or not I am going to be absent from my house for a week it doesn’t help matters I know you’d like to make money but don’t do it at others expenses!!
