I agree on Tales of Vesperia and Ys 8. Both of them are below 20 bucks and are really good games.

If I didn’t ready have the Tales games I’d pick these up. The prices are steals. I wonder when they’ll offer deals for Tales of Xillia. Imo it’s the best of them all.

      @@kali-qgames1301 I'm thinking of getting a following:
Vesperia. It's one that I haven't played. I've been a fan of the series since tales of destiny and have actually skipped a lot of them and have been meaning to get this one for a while.
Ys. I've never played any of them. I'm not sure if there's an order I'm supposed to go in or what. And I've heard another RPG RUclipsr talking this specific one up a lot so I might as well pick it up.
Yakuza. Never played any of them. I heard it spun off into a JRPG, and I know this one isn't that, but for the price it's probably still worth it.
Mega Man Battle Network. I played two of them I think, back when they were new and there were only like three released. I was just curious and ended up being surprised at how much story was packed into them.
Believe me I've been waiting for this summer sale forever so there's a lot of other stuff I want as well. But these are ones I'm definitely going to grab.

Some Suggestions I have that I like for RPGs that are on discount are as follows, note most of these aren't particularly JRPGs, as I have a fondness for turn-based games that are like such, but they don't necessarily come from Japan. For example!:
-The Thaumaturge: A Historic Fantasy set in WW1 Russia/Poland it follows Wiktor who is a Thaumaturge, a kind of sorcerer who binds a Salutor (Or multiple as Wiktor). No random battles, all are dependent on situations you encounter. Currently 33% off on Steam. $24.44. Took me About 30 hours to complete.
-Small Saga: A turn-based RP that follows a set is sentient rodents. This feels quite a bit like a JRPG plot-wise (A plot to fight against the oppression of a supposed God), but does have some memery inserted that gives more Western than Japanese humor. the party ends up with a Beserker, A Bard, A Dragonn-type support and a Charge-Mage, effectly. Currently 25% off on Steam. $14.99. Took me about 12 hours to complete.
-Fuga: Melodies of Steel 1&2: It a turn-based RPG that follows a gang of children that found a Super-Tank and use it to fight against a Facist invading force. It has a swap mechanic that you need to use to exploit and delay enemies. It has no overworld and instead focuses on going forwards on nodes and battles. I quite enjoyed these games. Fuga 1 is currently 50% off on steam, at $19.99 and took me about 14 hours to complete while Fuga 2 is currently 40% off at $23.99 on Steam and took me about 16 hours to complete. Both have replayability as they have multiple endings depending on how many children survive (You can sacrifice them during boss fights to get through them) and do have New Game+.
-Black Book: A Russian folklore laden turn-based deckbuilding RPG where you are a sorceress that gets a black book with pages to case spells. It is a node-based RPG where you go through the ways being a Knower solving problems and banishing demons and trying to gain power to bring your lover back from the dead. It's very interesting. It's mostly a single-character gameplay with no party and can be a few different tactics in your deckbuilding. Currently 60% off on Steam at $9.99. Took me about 36 hours to complete.
-Infinite Guitars: A turn-based RPG, it is a mix of dodge-action in the overworld, turn-based RPG with Rhythm game elements. Your special abilities depends on your performance of a rhythm game that is dependent on the back-ground battle music in the scene. You can do basic attacks based on a timed hit and your defenses involve a 1-D movement system with a potential to dodge with a button. It's fairly linear and basic, but I really enjoyed the game, but I do understand some complaints of it being a bit repetitive. Currently 40% off on steam at $11.99. Took me about 16 hours to complete.
I'll stop there. I know most are western-developed RPGs, but they all have elements of JRPGs in terms of plot (Going against authority, especially of so called deities along with oppressive forces.) and turn-based gameplay.
These are a few games that I greatly enjoyed and want to get more exposure than some of the more mainstream games. I have plenty others I'd want to suggest, but wanted to open up some things for people to look at!
Also: Kali-Q, if you see this, I want to know how you define JRPG. Is it literally an RPG from Japanese Developers? Is it the gameplay? Is it the plot/themes? I want to know so when thing come up like this I know what to suggest or point out for you and people who else may be interested in such things.
    Thanks for the videos!

Eiyuden was kind of a disappointment for me. I picked it up day one, was really looking forward to it.
10 hours in I realized it was just feeling like a chore to play it, rather than feeling engaging or fun. Was pretty bummed about it.
Already picked up Tales of Bersaria but will check out some of the other recommendations.

While it says 10 games in the collection, you really need to play Battle Network 1, 2 then 1 version of the last 4 main entries, so 6 games total. BN 3-6 have 2 versions each, but the different content each version offer isn't justifiable enough to replay those 4 in particular
I think the collection even lets you get everything in 1 version of each of those entries, which will make the opposite version completely obsolete, so once again you only need to play 6 games total
BUT, to be extremely blunt here, every BN fan recommend to skip 4 Red Sun/Blue Moon entirely cause it's not only the weakest entry, it's also mostly a filler episode cause it doesn't have any major impact in the overarching narrative
If you REALLY wanna play that one, turn on that Mega Buster cheat and just blast through it to be done with quickly lol
For me in particular, the multiple versions trick Capcom pulled out failed terribly and was just used to cash in on Pokémon's schtick back on the GBA when this Mega Man spinoff series came from
