Wow, thank you po. This is the real test we have been waiting for. Since mostly, pag Baguio, madalas, loaded ang car ng gamit at pasahero, more so, pasalubong pag uuwi na
Glad you found ituseful 👍 , only thing to remember I think is to always have plenty of charge and the SM Quick charger or CJH is key Para ma maximize ang range. Everything else the Atto 3 has no problem 😊
@@838WE7O6A I beg to differ. I actually think its much more "real world" that I started with only about 68% or whatever other than fully charged. Simply because not all people will have a full charge then go to baguio, they have errands to do, or maybe they forgot to charge etc. I also wanted to show how the fast charger in La Union works. The whole "not fully charged" trip was exactly how I wanted it. It would be too easy to just go to Baguio on one full charge (which is again, I did on the way back). Ty for the comment.
@@838WE7O6A Not really, check the comments down below. Some folks appreciate this more "practical" approach, how you would do it, is not the same as others. Sure I was driving downhill, that was kenon. what did you expect? This review wasn't all to just prove the technology works and help sell more EVs here in the country. It's me driving as I normally would , on a not so fully charged EV, checking out the charging experience & saying my honest opinions on the car. That's as real as it gets.
6:20 P35 per KWH on these Charging Stations, but only P12 per KWH from Meralco Of course Charging Stations is more expensive. They offer "peace of mind" that we can travel without the worry. Perspective (City Driving): Gasoline is about P65 / Liter. Average cars can do 8~10km per Liter (best case), or P6.5~P8.0 per KM. ATTO3 can do ~5KM per 1KWH (worse case) which translates to P2.4 per KM (Meralco), or P7.00 per KM (charging station).
Ty for the computation. My thoughts are for this trip to baguio. If you can get to the free fast charger sa SM Baguio then you save a lot of time and money, otherwise it's nearly the same if you were using a petrol car. If one had a atto 3 at home in metro manila and was able to charge at home, that person will probably be very happy for not needing to worry about range anxiety. For folks unable to do so like those who live sa condo, they have a bigger challenge but just like in baguio, get to a fast charger and you're good to go. Its a different style of mobility for sure
@@testdriveph Another POV: With as little as P200K, I can hire a pro to install solar at home and get free electricity for house and EV charging. But no one can install an Oil Refinery at home even if he spends P100M. And with USA pushing for war, Oil shortage is a possibility.

True..Welcome to EV life I'm afraid PH style, which is why planning routes and knowing where to charge is key.... a lot of folks don't charge for a whole week and a fast charger takes 40 minutes to charge. Thank you very much for your very informative video. I intend to get an Atto 3 but I just have one question. It's timely because it's summer now and it's very hot. As an electric car that depends only on electricity, does it have no problem keeping the air conditioner cool and strong like ICE cars? Thanks a lot.
That's great! Thank you very much for the prompt response. I really appreciate it. I would also like to review the Atto 3 once I have used it for some time to help those who are thinking of buying it. Again, thank you very much.😊
Hi. Perfect video that I was looking for. But I got a question, can we turn on the air conditioner while charging? Not just the blower fan but the cool mode in the car's air conditioner? For example while charging the car I'll either sleep first inside or do some work with my laptop for hours etc.
I'm not entirely sure but a quick search is yes you can. Although your charging will be much slower and the folks on the parking (for example sa SM) they require you to be out of the car.
That's a pretty complicated computation, I'm afraid, kasi your kwh depends on your monthly usage etc etc. What I've been told is generally you pay around 1 peso per km. Best to ask the electric car users group sa fb :)
