Thanks for painting my picture Paul. After multiple attempts, with moments of success and many disappointments, it was great to see how you handled the various challenges that I struggled with. Your completed painting was absolutley wonderful. Bob
Thank you Paul, the “black dog” has been giving me a kicking recently but watching your work emerge with colour & wit has brought a bit of cheer & hopefully I will get back on the drawing board soon. Sometimes art is far more than an image. Have a good week & thanks again. AL
That was lovely! I like how you have music from the places you are painting. It really adds to the mood . I am inspired to try this one! Thanks for sharing,Paul!
I had a go at this and really enjoyed it. Being truthful, I filed the first effort but fairly happy with the second! I love the spirit of the picture ❤
I feel like the dancers came alive as you painted them! So incredible! The music was lovely too. I wish to be somewhere warm, dancing in the courtyard full of Bougainvillea. I love every tutorial you post. This one was very useful for me too. Painting faces can be hard. Especially that small. You did a perfect job of it. No sneezing at all. lol. Much love to you and Margot. ❤
@@stampinturtles Hello dear Jacqueline! I am very glad that not only Paul responded to my request, but also Margo herself! She promised to help me if I try again. I tried and ......... oh miracle! My request was accepted by the admin system. The "send request" button became active. I received a message that my request is under consideration. I am very grateful to Paul and Margo for their help in resolving this issue. They are great, they responded immediately. Today there was a very interesting video about dancers. I think there has never been such a video with dancing. Cool! 👍🏻
Good afternoon, dear Paul! That is really great: background - which is always difficult to show in an appropriate way (without too many details), right proportions of human bodies (especially in movement), this levity and also silky effects! Thank you for your tutorial as always! Greetings from Moldova, Lilia 💃
Paul. Paul. Paul. Stunning and very inspirational work. Now I’m itching to get my watercolor out. Thank you for your detailed explanation as you paint as well. Blessings from California 🐶🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️
This is so very different and so very lovely. Thank you Paul. I just hope I do it justice - more so than your last tutorial as I made a very big mess of that one. I seem to have lost my painting mojo at the moment and the watercolour Gods are not working with me haha.
Yes Paul, I did enjoy watching this tutorial. I will enjoy the experience as this isn't my area for watercolour painting, although it's good to try something different. Many thanks again Paul
Good morning Paul. What a vibrant painting, maybe a bit too challenging for this Aussie amateur but I'll give it a go, as you always say "it doesnt have to be a master piece every time". Thanks again for another wonderful tutorial 😀
You painted this as if they were real, and I love how you painted her skirt, it looks like soft silk and flowing so beautifly. I was amazed watching you paint the faces.. Love this and I will try. Thank you so much
Fantastic! Thank you for the tutorial and thank you Bob for the reference photo. I may need to practice the faces several times 😅. Always your videos are a highlight of my day, thank you
I haven’t seen this yet but my husband is Peruvian and we have been there many times over the decades. Thank you! I will be painting this as soon as I can! Thank you for this, Paul!!!!!
Just beautiful Paul. Loved it. I always feel your paintings are always more real than the picture .. Loved your techniques of the shading , dropping in stronger tones to create the shadows in the outfits. I can relate to do not breathe 😁 When I sketch human figures the face is always tricky. Especially when putting in the features and contours. It's brilliant art work. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Will definitely try it. Some day soon. Thankyou and looking forward to next week. Have a wonderful week. 💕💕💕
Oh wow that gorgeous! I love 💕 the Quinacridone Rose in this one. Definitely been working on portraits & people this week. Thanks for sharing another great inspirational piece of artwork with us!
I am always captivated when you paint different things. You go out of your initial ' comfort Zone", I like that! It's such a Boost!!! It gives you the license to try other projects. 😊
This painting is absolutely gorgeous! Well done! As always your instruction is in a league of it's own. I laughed as you repeated my overall saying on Columbus day. Top Notch video! Cheers Mate!
Really enjoyed watching you create this lovely scene... capturing them in dance!!! Oh, yes, I agree about Columbus... "In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue!" We were also taught he discovered America!!! I know the Native American Indians didn't agree!!! In California we pronounce the beautiful plant, Bougainvillea as... "Boo gun vay' ya" ... we have many bushes on the slopes around our home. Winter or summer, always blooming!!! Thank you for another wonderful Watercolor Wednesday!!! Loved the music!!! It was made for dancing!!! God bless you with love from a California Gramma 😂🎉❤
Thank you Paul. I adore your shirt. This tutorial is such fun. Figures from other countries would be fun. The traditional festivities dress are beautiful. Thank you and please stay safe and well.
I always enjoy your tutorials. Loved the way you captured the light & movement of the dancers. Thank you for warming up a cold Wednesday with your beautiful painting of these Peruvian Dancers!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial Paul, a real lively scene, the colours make great atmosphere. I must get a white highlighter as it makes such a difference to a picture. The dancers look like they’re really moving! This makes such a change from scenery, I’ve been stuck but this has encouraged me to get on with it!
Lovely. I chuckled with the Columbus comment. I grew up being taught he did great things to find out I had been fibbed to. 😂 oh well!! I so enjoy Wednesdays and what you bring to us. Wonderful lessons that have improved my painting greatly. 🙏
Good afternoon Paul, or whatever time it is when you are reading this...What a fun challenge this was to paint. I posted it for Margot on the Challenge website and for others to critic it, hopefully to improve my artwork. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial. I even stepped out of my comfort zone and tried some things that you didn't in yours... BTW, have you ever painted any American National Park scenes or famous Landmarks, like Crater Lake. I live about an hour from it and if. you haven't seen it, you should look it up. Also thought of the American Cliff Dwellers in SW Colorado and their habitat. Have a wonderful evening, morning, or afternoon!!
