I seldom comment on videos but I have to now. All your tutorials have been an inspiration to me. You have made a tremendous difference in my painting. You have led me to success more than I would have thought possible. I also enjoy your personality and sense of humor. You are truly making a contribution to the world of art!🎉
Wow, I think this was possibly my all time favorite tutorial that I’ve seen over the years by you. Your initial drawing is impressive, really showing your skills. I loved the entire painting and want to watch it again to remind myself how you handled all the shrubbery with those beautiful layers and colors. Thank you for being so generous with your free weekly demos. I can’t imagine how you are able to produce them so regularly.
Mr. Clark, you are truly a gem of a human being. I know you don't know me from Adam, but I feel as though I know you. I often wish I lived in the UK for any reasons, but one reason is so I could attend one of your workshops! If you ever want to come to Alabama, your welcome at my house 😊
Thank you, Paul, for painting not only on paper but also across my days. Your invaluable videos are golden brushstrokes, bringing light, calm, and inspiration. Grateful for the colors you share.
As a younger man I always regarded watercolours as a poor substitute for much more detailed oil pantings, but suddenly it dawned on me that the suggestion of details in a watercolour was a much more powerful thing than I ever gave it credit for. Thank you Paul for your creative input. I look forward to my watercolour Wednesday's with geat anticipation..... oh, and by the way, todays painting is a fantastic example of your art.
O admire the way you paint in different styles and using any kind of paper and paintings. Every video you post Is a great lessons to me. Thanks for all your lessons!
I can't wait to watch each week. Your tutorials are my watercolor teacher. Three watercolors hanging in my house are paintings inspired by your tutorials. Thank you for making them available to us. I'd love to have you come to the deep south of the USA. Happy 2025!
Thank you so much Paul! You are just awesome, love watching you every week. This one is one of my favorites (although I love each and everyone one of your tutorials) 😊
Beautiful..can really feel the hot sun in this one….such a variety of greens…the dry brush technique is so good for portraying texture…thanks for all the informative videos…🇨🇦🙂
Thank you Paul. I love scenes like this. It's a tour of a place I'll never experience. I always look forward to your tutorials before I go to work on Wednesday. You bring joy to so many people worldwide. Happy New Year to you and Margo. We can't forget her support. Stay well and safe travels.
I enjoy your free tutorials and i appreciate them very much!!! They give me hope for my painting to continue to improve, even though being retired and on social security' i can't afford paid lessons. Your sense of humor is wobderful and i do enjoy these immensely!
Really enjoy your Wed tutorials. The colour palette is gorgeous. So appreciate how you have simplified quite a complex subject, particularly the boats. Thank you for sharing & cheers to the earl grey tea.
Happy 2025 Paul. Relieved that the videos will still be there. Really grateful for these tutorials ♥ Loved watching you, paint, the end result is a stunning painting
I loved watching as you made this your own "painterly" painting!!! The entire scene embraced me wholeheartedly!!! Here's to you and Margot in the New Year and so grateful for watercolor Wednesdays!!! God bless you... with love from a California Gramma ❤️ 🎉😂
Good morning, Paul. I just wanted to wish you and Margo a very happy new year and many more to come. I love your tutorials and I do paint a few. I just haven't had the nerve to post any. Lol 😂 Thank you for all the fun times!!
Happy New Year for you too. Thank you for all you do for us to learn about watercolors, you make it look so easy. Your passion for the work you do motivates so much to continue trying and getting better each time. This one is gorgeous, I am in awe of your talent and what you teach us each time. Thank you to you and Margot.
What a treat this one was! It was especially fascinating watching you add all the layers of details to bring the character of the scene to life. Amazing what that bit of purple haze added to it, the kind of thing I might not think of adding. This sunny scene was enjoyable and promising this morning as my cottage is currently buried under 20 inches of snow! I have steps and a walkway out there somewhere, but you can no longer see them. 🙂❄🌧
Oh so beautiful Paul. Looks hard to me, but I will try tonight. Love your work so much! You are such amazing teacher and kind and fun human being. Thank you for every tutorial you make for us.
Yay, a beautifully warm painting! I was so hoping you'd paint something not cold. Snow is beautiful and all, but it's currently 9 Fahrenheit/-13 Celsius outside. I can't wait til work ends and I can get my brushes going, thank you!
Hi Paul I am very new to Watercolour but to say you are inspiring is an understatement you bring an understanding like no other and inspire me daily to pick up a brush and have a go thank you from the Sunshine Coast Australia
Paul you are always the best Honestly today liste ing to your introduction I didn’t completely understand what exactly is this painting style, but whatching you at work I realized perfecty what you meant. It was a moment of pure joy. Thankyou so much
Happy New Year Paul. I love your tutorials and I am astounded each time to see a beautiful picture emerge from a background of random colors. Its magical
Ahhh thank you so much Paul for explaining what the painterly style looks like & means. I have been trying to figure out that terminology for a while now. I’m thinking 🤔 maybe I fall somewhere in between the painterly style & trying to be a bit more realistic too, 😂if that’s possible, seeing that I love 💕 details. I have got to try to remember how you go about with your color mixing of greens & browns. Definitely need to jot them down in a notebook 📓. Thanks also for doing a square format! I’m off to give this one a go! Enjoy your day & weekend ahead.
Thank you for this incredible tutorial - love the colors and the "painterly" feel. I am definitely inspired to give this "a go"! I know the perspective maybe still a challenge. Reminds me of the Mulick tutorial you did with us. The brushstrokes are lovely on the vegetation and the rocks. Love the stairs and rocks. Thank you again for teaching us to enjoy and not be afraid of making our marks on the paper. :0)
Hope 2025 will be wonderful for you. So happy you will still be giving your great tutorials every week and thank you so much, it's very appreciated. I look forward to Wednesday , I learn loads , my painting is improving.😊
