the easier the difficulty is the more you can spam , the harder it gets the more u need to parry, in revengeance if you dont parry you will die. Also playing rev diff rn and man i have been forced to love the taste of dirt. on pc parrying is hard ;.; also states as a unironic quotes "memes are the dna of the soul" which tells you how seriously it takes itself! plus once you know the staisfaction of parrying it is addicting and animations are super clean! , tip , yellow attack cannot be parried at all. one question why is sam and wolf packing an absolute bakery?
For now tho: It's gameplay and story feels like its built completely different than the typical metal gear non-sense. In this game theres a lot of plot conveniences that are just presented without any prior mention (Metal Gear Rey and Excelus) and the stealth aspect of the game is almost useless. There's no way to NOT kill people to advance the game (MGS is all about killing is bad). There's less choice in what to do or how to get from A to B overall from a player perspective. However the music fucks and the boss fights make you feel powerful even though you just kinda spam attack and can get an S rank.
@@slyck_ honestly agree with pretty much all of these points. the game is a very very VERY large departure from the rest of the series, mostly ditching the stealth like you said. although, the plot conveniences are kind of passable because of the silly nature of the game. you are a cyborg wielding a katana fighting another cyborg with a katana in the middle of nowhere, i think some plot conveniences are bound to happen. totally agree with the spam attacking too, its a shame they just forced parrying into attacking, shouldve been a seperate keybind. and yea, the music is very good
