    I had similar c5/c6 disc put in, it failed, its crap...…fusion is the gold standard. It does not get rid of facet joint pain at the same level and mine made my spine hypermobile at that level. Also, the pinching of nerves is back and bone spurs have developed around the disc which is very close to the spinal cord. I now am trying to get this revised but the surgeon who did this treatment to me who told me to have a fake disc has done a runner.

    Hi bro
    Im going to do this surgery probably next week and I'm scared to death (cutting my neck).. pls tell me how was it after you woke up from the surgery and how long did it take to fully heal up? Is it painful?🥺

    • @wojciechg792
      @wojciechg792  Год назад +7

      After I woke up, I had immediate relief from nerve pain. Essentially the nerve pain went away, only very sore. I was cleared to return to my normal activity levels 6 weeks after surgery. Check out my other videos for the progression! I would do it 100/100 times again as the surgery gave me my life back. Good luck!

    HI, Im 58 years old and I was diagnoised with narrowing disk C4-C5. Degenerative and osteoarthritis. I don't have pain in my arm or numbness in my fingers. However, I do have discomfort from movement daily. I'm considering a possible disk replacement down the line.

      Thanks for the comment. My understanding is that his surgery is best to relieve impingement on the nerve in order to stop numbness/nerve pain. Have you tried physical therapy? I wonder if some muscle strengthening for your neck would help. Good luck!

      I'm glad your surgery went well, and thank you for this video. I just met with a surgeon a few days ago, and he recommended a double disc replacement at c5-c6 and c6- c7. I did have neck and arm pain and numbness in my hand and thumb, and my left arm is getting weak. My pain is now gone, but the weakness and numbness are still there. I'm still trying to decide if i want to go thru with it. Did your feeling come back in your thumb and strength come back?
