Lucas Rietze I built carcasses and fixed them under the staircase. Fitted a dado to the top joint. Doors are 22mm mdf frames with 6mm panel. Mouldings for styling.
@@theditchlingcabinetmaker77 Carl, i'm going to give it a try in a few weeks. Any suggestions will surely be appreciated. Thanks Carl, Larry from Tennessee
Larry Roberson most important is getting the carcasses square and the angle right. Template the space is a good idea.... make sure you plumb a line on your template so the carcass has a good chance of sitting plumb and level under the stairs. Adjustable feet make this job far easier... then fitting the runner parallel to one another is key for good action on the drawers. Fitting the runners off a square to the front edge of the carcass works well. Good luck.
Haha! well... drawers are made of birch ply 18mm, 12mm for the bases. Main carcass 18mm MR MDF. Doors again MR MDF 18mm and 6mm with some small pine panel mouldings. Then some rather long push to open side mounted drawer slides... that's it really. The plan is in my head sorry. I will document the next build to give you some idea of the process. Oh, internals are varnished, oil based, and the doors and carcass are handprinted with emulsion...
If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there. Nice work!
Beautiful and functional! You are an amazing carpenter.

Hi Robbie. I'd love too, what are you interested to know specifically. I break down some core skills for you until I get similar commission...?
I second Robbie's ask. I personally would want to know how you framed it, and how you built the cupboard doors.
