I have a mirror above my dresser directly in front of my bed and I've never had any paranormal experiences whatsoever. I used to have this large vintage mirror and I'd have it directly in front of my bed because I thought it looked cool.

according to feng shui, vastu sastra, and many other reasons, its really bad to have a mirror in front of or beside your bed. i recommend having it on a wall with curtains to close over the mirror night. it would be a fantastic touch. stay safe

It’s because mirrors are portals and people have reported waking up during the night seeing their reflection doing something creepy. Not everyone believes in this, they can put the mirror wherever they would like.
