I remember Vanilla WoW (pre-1.12) forcing us mages to have to go 20 points into Arcane for instant Arcane Explosion for add packs. Otherwise, Frostbolt was all we needed.
Even better than pressing 1 button is to set up Razer Synapse (or similar program) to play a continuous macro that presses the Frostbolt key 50-100 times a second. So basically stand in position, press the key that activates that macro and just stand still. i got sore fingers from button mashing and this helped me alot.

The quality is in what he picks to represent the situations like beowolf jumping like that to backstab lol or the clip from the hobbit(archer) lol, and the use of wow sounds. His previous rogue vs warrior is so damn funny lol. It also hits me as a reckadin/retri lover because in your head your are gonna do all this amazing stuff then you get no procs no crits 2 dodges 3 parry and yeah
Just wait until AQ40 and then you get to play as fire and spam a different button and maybe sometimes use scorch too if you're the one mage in raid with a talent for that.
Raiding as a Vanilla Wow Warlock: (spend 6 hours farming enough soul shards to be able to summon everyone to the raid, give cookies, and soulstone the main healer (80+ because you also need shards to cast your big spells) Invited to pug raid, then everyone shouts at you to get to the raid instance ASAP with one other bullied individual to help summon. Begin Summoning. Everyone thanks you. Some mages even give you some food and water. Cookies are passed out. Soulstone is given.... aaaannndd /raidkick. No I'm not kidding. This is why we have violent crime IRL.

Accurate for both classic and retail. Most braindead ranged class in the game, though fire spec is the proper equivalent in retail. Just wait for procs, movement is trivial due to blinks while other classes have to fend off at melee range or walk to avoid attacks. Warlocks get gateways in retail, but much higher cooldown plus setup or a sprint that burns through health lol.
I like the meme but honestly, what class isn't boring AF to play in Vanilla? "Rotations" are generally like 1-3 abilities at most, and there isn't a single class that has to make any kind of decisionmaking or resource management beyond dump rage when you have rage/dump combo points when you have 5 of them/use big cooldown and then continue single button spam with bigger numbers. At least Mages are fun to play outside of raids.

This is exactly why I chose to play mage. I don't have to worry about DoTs or any management other than mana, and not standing in crap of course.
I have frostbolt bound to mouse wheel up, so comfy, especially if you have a fancy logitech mouse with fast scrolling. Increased my dps by like 40% x)
on server first rag kill i was at home office during that time and had makro casting frostbolt... worked
