It's like BuzzFeed, but down under. We're a bit cooked, not afraid to get deep and sometimes we'll make you crack up. New videos every week!
That beef jerky (Kho Bo) is now an integral staple in my pantry. So deliciousssss
the common way to eat the beef jerky is that you squeeze some lime juice all over and give the shred jerky a bit of a toss. another way is making some instant noodle and add the jerky to eat together with some lime juice.
I love you
chewy heaven
Paired with some cold beer and you gonna have a good times

Hearing someone disrespect avocado shakes literally hits my soul to the core.
it hits my soul to the core too.
haha cant blame her, im viet and i dont like it either along with Rau Má. LOOL
The she guide was so good, well transition, perfect menu for them. She described all dishes so well that I immediately wanted to try all.
I can’t comprehend how wonderful and awesome I think Sohan is.
Righttt I love her so bad
The Kopiko Coffee candy is one of our "legend" candy. People love it from children to adults and my mom often told me to buy it in Lunar New year so our visitors coming to my home can enjoy it
Avocado Shake with A scoop of your favourite ice cream and coconut flakes and maybe 1 shot of espresso. Trust me, this dessert will blow your mind out. It has such a good diversity, texture wise and flavour wise.
Love kem bo
Buzzfeed Aus is literally the best.. please more of trying each other’s foods and also that rating segment where u tried each other’s brunch spots etc it was so good!
Vietnamese snack *bring Thai tamarind candy and Indonesia coffee candy* imma die of laughter right here😂
Suggestion candies: Ben Tre coconut candy( instruction: since the candy so sticky, you usually see 2 layers of warpings: first layer is paper wraping, remove it. Second layer wraping is edible super thin rice paper; because is so sticky that tightly stick to normal paper, they put the candy in the rice paper so it stick to it and they eat whole piece without ripping paper)
Đang nói món ăn thân thuộc với trẻ con vn chứ có nói bắt nguồn từ đau đau
I’d love to see more of these and more of the “chefs fry each others”.
Each others favorite homemade dishes, favorite picnic foods, hotdogs from around the world, etc. I could think of a million I’d watch.
Ryan describing the texture of the Jackfruit snack to Clinkers is genius!
As a Vietnamese, i’m excited for more people to try foods in Vietnam!
As a vietnamese i recommend you tear the beef apart then squeeze a lime into it . Mix it then enjoy your best snack ever!
I used to absolutely DRENCH them shredded beef jerky in lime juice lolll it is such an addicting snack istg
Kopiko used to be one of my favorite candies growing up, I can't find it anywhere these days🥺 I also think i'd love the avocado shake
I am from Hawaii n I must say that Kopiko coffee candy is my all time favorite 😘
As a Vietnamese, it's so wholesome seeing people outside of country also enjoying our food ❤
M đéo phải người việt nam

Agreed

We appreciate your effort and hard work. God bless you all.
I enjoyed the snacks being explained to us 😊
wow such good variation on the picks didn't expect that
So much nostalgia in these snacks! Now I need to pop down to Cabra to grab some of them for my pantry and enjoy reliving my childhood memories 🤩 Also love Shirley! She’s so pleasant to watch 🫶
I got so excited for the read coat girls reaction. Love it, awsome choices of snacks
Great video! I love Sybil😍
I love these try each others videos! I'd love to see some more like try each others

- favourite sandwich
- favourite weird combinations/foods
- family recipes
Sybil is adorable!
Oi! Kopiko originated from Indonesia 😂 Mayora Indah Tbk made it and conquer through SEA Market and around the world 😁
Kopiko and Nabati too, they are snacks that often appear in Vietnamese childhood
Kopiko is Indonesian candy though. Maybe it’s also popular in Vietnam or Mayora (the company which produce Kopiko) has mfg factory in Vietnam too
All those snacks that are paired with beer and not a beer in sight criminal I tell you truly criminal. I would love to see a colab involving Sybil and @ClickForTaz based on their personalities observed in videos, the pair would be a hoot.
Avocado smoothies are the bomb! We make them every second day! Noms!
I love Sybil!!
great selection!! :)
Great episode so glad you guys got to try Vietnamese food/snacks hopefully you guys try Cambodian food/snacks in the future. 🙏
That’s so surprising most haven’t had Vietnamese food cause Australia has a huge viet population outside of the U.S, UK and other Asian countries
Try khô mực nướng( grilled dryes squid) dipped in hot sauce with some cold beer by the beach at night is just amazing
yuuuuuuuum. when i was in vietnam i ate che SO MUCH - and also all sorts of sticky rice street snacks.
Kopiko is Indonesian brand. I just realized it's popular in Vietnam 😅
This is so educational and informative whattt? I dont get that a lot from food trying videos. Loved this one ❤
Made me hungry tho 😅
That fried quail is one of my favorite foods. Make a dip of half Sriracha and half hoisin sauce and you have a flavor bomb!
Wowwww love this
I loved this video!!
I suggest you guys do Turkish food next!!!
Kopiko is my faveeeeeeeeee! Omg I haven’t had those in ages
Thank youy for trying our food❤❤❤
i hope you make more video about Vietnamese food
3:32 My fav candy, i always buy it when i see it. I like the one with coffee and carmel.
I'm also not familiar with Vietnamese snacks so this was cool to see. I'd like to try the steamed layer cake
You gotta they are a great snack they typically sell them & other Vietnamese snacks at Vietnamese banh mi stores
The tapioca layer is there for the chewy texture while the bean layer has a gentle sweetness, it's a perfect tea snack because the bitterness of the tea enhances the mild sweetness of the cake.
@@blackknightz5036 Ooh that sounds lovely
@@thatgirl9532 Awesome, thanks! I'll look for one near me
All these snacks are making my mouth water, luckily Northern California has many Asian communities
Kids hate coffee sometimes, but when i was a kid (which is right now) i liked it
Those tarmarinde lollies are the best!!! Even those kopikos. Growing up in cabramatta most of my sweets, coffee, noodles and drinks are vietnamese. But im not vietnamese just grew up on their foods as most of my friends were viets. But nothing neats Viet ice coffee
I really like Sybil. she has good vibesss 😊
it's really interesting that Western people enjoy avocados in their savoury foods while us, the Vietnamese people eat it like a dessert🥰🤣🤣. My dad usually has avocado after meal, sometimes he just eats it plain, other times with sugar or condensed milk. Yummy!!
Love this video so so much!!!!! And have a nice day guys!! From VN with love🥰🥰🥰🥰
As a Vietnamese I love Vietnamese snack there so good!!!
As a vietnamese citizen,im love and proud of my country foods
Actually got the good snacks, well done Shirley
Sybil's mouth is literally dancing right now.
How can they forget Banh Trang Tron (rice paper salat)
every Vietnamese grandma has a bag of coffee candy at their home.
the food are gooooood
Kopiko is from Indonesia and is about Vietnamese as Milo is Malaysian! Lol!
Yes, but it is still a staple in Vietnamese homes. I grew up eating them at my grandparents homes.
@@aznmochibunny yes, same as Milo in Malaysia- well loved but not originally from there! I love Kopiko too!
@@behemothsbaby Kopiko you got it correct. It is originally from Indonesia. But Milo was originated in Australia, not Malaysia.
@@risingstar9903 , I know. That’s my point Milo is Australian. I'm Aussie myself…
@@behemothsbaby Didn’t see the Australia part. My bad.
i love sohan
ryan and sybil are the best pair 😂
I love jackfruit chips yummy ❤❤
As a Vietnamese I am soo proud
As a Vietnamese I can agree. I always eat these till this day.
As a Vietnamese I’m proud they chose Vietnamese snacks
7:45 hell to the yes. Here in Philippines as well.
My uncle would buy an infinite amount of jackfruit chips if he could
We need ppl do do sapodilla coffee
"a party in her mouth" 😂
Everyone says beers go well with food, I've just graduated from highschool in Vietnam and wonder what beers gonna taste like 😗
I thiught there's no age limit in vietnam when it comes to drinking? Lol
@@Gyc864 legal when you're old enough but you can drink or not
Sohan is the best
i'm a Vietnamese myself and i don't even know about the sugar cane skewers can be eaten/chewed like that 💀wtf, this is a fucking great video
Then you must be either very stupid or one of those descendants of the traitors. Can't tell which one is worse
Bring them a beerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
idk why I relate so much with sohan T__T
Kopiko.. I lovee this. We have this in Pakistan. I also think Turkey has a similar kopiko
I’m in Saigon right now! Someone please recommend places I should eat! :)
I LOVE layer cake! The Singaporean version with the pink layers is better though ;)
I've tried all the other versions and the Vietnamese one is the one version with the mung bean filling so I like the Vietnamese ones the best.
hmm, missing one of my favorite snack, kho muc (dried squid) but that's ok. Really cool to see all snacks!
2:46 my childhood
BRO i use to have Tamerind candy at the vietnamese barber place I went to when I was younger. i`ve been looking for these for YEARRS
I am Vietnamese and you should try dried jackfruit!
Banh trang is very good with mam ruoc too. Though that's probably an acquired taste for westerners.
As a Vietnamese mostly our food is salty or goes well with beer
I have not seen them try Carl’s Jr or Five Guys yet but maybe that is because there are not many locations.
As a Vietnamese this definitely feels more like southern cuisine snacks. I'm a northerner and I have honestly never tried most of the food in this video. Cmon where's my kẹo lạc, bánh phu thê and kẹo cu đơ:'))
10:53 interesting, so it's like Pulutan then. Neat.
I'm a Vietnamese and this is the first time I ever saw that kind of beef jerky (Kho Bo) !
Weird lol, i litterally see it's sold everywhere from supermarket to small convenient store.
I miss kẹo chuối so bad since i’m wearing braces for 4 years
Avocado should be with ice cream and coconut. Kem bo 😋
Vietnamese have the same reaction talking about savory avocados
i love it
I thought KOPIKO was only in the philippines. Ive always thought it was KOPI (coffee) + KO (mine). I googled, it said, kopiko is indonesian brand.
I thought Kopiko is Indonesian. As an Indonesian I grew up with it 😅
It is Indonesian brand... And exported to many countries....
Bro Vietnamese Avocado smoothie is the gotHdhjsbskslsjbs! I haven't have since the last time I was in Vietnam! I need to have it again, I need it!
I think some dishes get over the point as a snack and a main dish. There are a few that crossed that
I couldn't finish the video cause it got me hungry lmao
in Vietnam, we can eat everythiing with beers ( even pho )
People said some food brand is from their country. Oh yeah, but the flavor/ structure may be changed to meet different country's taste.
lots of these would be considered actual meal dishes (appertizer and not snack), something I'd considered snack would be bánh tráng trộn, xoài sống, gỏi bò, đậu hủ với nước đường, etc...
I've lived in Vietnam for seven years and have never seen someone eat a shrimp stick like that. Little shrimp balls yes but never on a stick in that way.
@@jeffcollins9860 it's called chạo tôm. Outside of Vietnam you can easily find it in almost every restaurant but I'm pretty sure it's more of a special occasion type of food in Vietnam.
Anyways, I think these type of snacks are more for the Viet-Aussie experience which I find aligns with my experience, even though I'm from North America. Though I do agree with op that the sugarcane shrimp is more of an app than snack.
