In this segment of my US History EOC Review series, I discuss the events leading to the American Revolution, including the Proclamation of 1763, the Sugar Act, the Stamp Act, the Townshend Acts, the Boston Massacre, the Tea Act, the Boston Tea Party, and the Intolerable Acts.
This is the second part of my review lecture addressing USHC 1.2 in the South Carolina curriculum standards for US History and the Constitution.
I'm not a history student but I love watching your videos Tom. It is a sign of a great teacher who can make a subject so interesting and enjoyable that even non-students watch it!
Been enjoying your series. Thanks for putting it up on RUclips.
+Ebon Shadow Thank you for watching! I recorded this particular series about a year ago but am just getting around to editing it now that AP testing is over.
@@tomrichey I think we are there again
you are so helpful this helped me on my test i had in history i got a 100% THANK YOU so much
I've been watching your videos to study for my Cset in Social studies. Hopefully I can be as knowledgeable as you are. Thanks!
+Ellen Burke Glad I can help!
Thank you Tom! I have an essay that is namely about what caused the war of independence and this has been a huge help :)
Could you do a later episode on the schools of thought surrounding the cause of the war e.g the progressive, the imperial interpretation, the Neo-Whig interpretation?
+Max Roe Banks I'll give it some thought but typically, my videos address things that come up in high school or college survey courses. I have thought about doing a video on the Causes of the Civil War (and I've already done one on the Causes of World War I) so it may be fitting to turn that into a series at some point with the causes of all of the major American wars.
I'm honoured that you responded thank you :)
I look forward to seeing your future videos
Yours Sincerely
A fan from the southern most of Tasmania
