Just started streaming having fun with it watching your videos has been helpful. It's showen me I've still got some work to do with panels and description etc. Thanks for the informative vid buddy.
I'm not a billy! So, real talk: I was like "oh, a video on panels. I think mine are decent so I'll just watch because I like the videos". Yeah... after about 3 minutes I quickly realized I have some work to do. Great job, sir. Also, people copying your about and your story sure is an interesting thing that sure seems to happen way too much on Twitch... or in general.
I'm not a Billy either! I'm all about having fun and setting a good example for Viewers and Twitch Streamers alike. I'm actually trying to customize my about section and take some time doing it! Of course, I'll add more to it as time goes on! Thanks dude!☺️
I’ve been watching a bunch of your videos lately and learning tons about making my channel better! Thank you for taking the time to make all these! I have to admit though, I don’t love the idea of leaving grammar mistakes intentionally to try to bait people for interaction, and here’s my main reason: when I was looking for your Twitch channel to check out your setup, I noticed the mistakes and thought the channel I’d found was a fake because they were very obvious and you seem too thorough and professional to miss something like that. So I left the channel and kept looking for you lol. Plus I think the reason for that first interaction is a lot more important than just the interaction happening. If someone’s first interaction is prompted by them wanting to help you fix a mistake that you’ll never fix, are they still more likely to come back? I’m a little skeptical. But I think all your other tips and advice have been spot on! Thanks again for all your help.
Can’t thank you enough for all the tools you are providing for me to get better at what I want to do. Only started last month on twitch and progress is slow. But you’re giving me an amazing chance to get better. I wish you the best and THANK YOU!
I’m very happy that I’ve found your channel my guy. It’s taught me so much in less than 4 hours. Been bench watching a lot of your videos and it’s helped a lot. I’m ready to begin taking this stuff more serious!!! Thank you and I’ve subbed.
I'm an old streamer that's getting back into the game and all your videos are evergreen. You've helped me in your discord and your free overlays are insane! I know this is an older video but would like you to know you and you community have made all the knowledge so easily accessible there really is no excuse not to have a good looking stream. From the bottom of my my heart thank you for you lessons and knowledge.
Wow, can't believe people actually use your bio as your own. When you first said "I clicked on some members of the community", I started to sweat worrying about getting roasted...but at least I've never straight up lifted someone else's bio haha. Thanks for the video as always! I have a few panels and extensions, but I know I need to polish them up (just yesterday I had someone asking for the chat rules again, so the timing is great for this reminder). Really comprehensive video, even if I see a topic and think "nah, I know how to set up panels", I know to click your videos, because you'll always have new tips and takes I haven't thought of! The grammar thing is deviously clever too. You almost tempted me with that, before I reached that section of the video. But I held back, because I'm not a Billy!
These videos have been a god sent! I've been setting up for my first stream and I've been binging your videos daily. Thank you so much for everything you're doing!
Yo man, just started streaming and doing YT for the last month. I kid you not, I feel like your videos are the ONLY ones that get to the point and are genuinely helpful. I have come to rely on your content big time, and just wanted to share a big thank you from me to you. Im over halfway to affiliate on twitch and i hope to get there within the next month ! Keep up the awesome work!
Not gonna lie I'm currently a Billy... reason why, I became affiliate suddenly and wasn't expecting it. So this happened a few weeks ago. I am constantly working on small project spanning my entire twitch channel including panels. But I didn't have a donate button and a guy was trying to donate! So I hooked up donations right after that as it has been my first request in stead of other panels. But this vid right here is the perfect template to complete the look thanks man!
Hello! I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me on this twitch journey! After streaming 4 times a week, using your layouts I’m almost at Twitch Affiliate! Great content as always ❤️
Thank you this was super helpful, I ended up going the extra mile and made all the graphics myself to fit my brand/aesthetic! I am actually low key proud of it. Again mate thanks for the help. Always love seeing another Aussie around!
Thank you so much over a month I've grown 3-4 average viewers and I really have to thank you I haven't been doing everything but I'm working on doing more. I get 3-4 viewers in a month may not seem like a lot, but about a month ago I was streaming to maybe 1-2 and now it can get up to 8-9 people, not to mention that I've doubled my follower base. THANK YOU!
"Don't just have nothing but a dono button. Don't be a Billy." Me who's never had a dono button cuz I feel weird about being given money. I'll be honest, I didn't even know that markdown button was there lol. I will say it does make that section look a lot nicer. As far as extension go I've just been using the "Recent follower" one. For schedules I've just been using the one Twitch has built into the site. Thanks for the help. Great video as always! :D
I just wanted to let you know that as a Start off streamer, I found your video VERY encouraging! I’ll really have to dive in, but this is exactly what I was looking to figure out! I really really enjoyed this video and thank you so much for taking the time to make it!
Hey new to twitch and everythibg. Out of all the creatures on youtube. I keep coming back to youre guides. I just subbed thank you man this shits sp confusing at first.
I’ve been thinking about trying streaming and these videos have been interesting for giving me a view of what is involved. I’m not sure if anyone has success in the genre I’m thinking about, but this gives me a sense of what I need to think about no matter what I decide to stream.
I'm not a billy! Thanks for the video! I started doing some streams and I wanted to make sure I had all the basics covered :) Well put and simple to follow thankssyouuu
First off wanna say thanks for all the help you've passed on to me. I have a few regulars in my chat now, I have a schedule, I feel like I'm figuring out my current niche and I'm working on videos for my youtube channel. I'm not a Billy and I'm gonna continue working to make this a possibility. Thanks for all the continued support knowledge you've given.
Yooo much appreciated for putting out all these videos! Ive been slowly getting it all together and it's been a journey and I definitely enjoy it! And much appreciated for making the overlays and stinger transitions as well! It's work but I like it!
Hi Eljay! Just wanted to reach out and thank you for much for all the time you put into these videos. They've always been so helpful and every video gives me something new to think about as I try to grow myself and my stream.
Thank you for your channel, you've really helped me get started. I made a New Year's Resolution to start trying to be more creative and take risks doing things and that's led me to TikTok and Twitch; two things I've always wanted to try. Your channel has helped with a lot of things. Keep up the great work!
I'm not a Billy! Eljay, I've been binging your stuff for the last 2 weeks now, and I've been making many changes, corrections, improvements, and I feel like my stream has improved because of it.
Just wanted to say thank you! Dont know for how much time i know your channel but you are delivering allways helpfull and high quality content. Thanks again, and never stop
Heh, "I'm not a Billy". 3 years later and this is still very relevant. Thank you so much, I was a bit lost in how to get started with customizing Twitch!
I lower my head and slowly walk up to the podium. I look up and scan the rather large crowd. I take a deep breath and say, "Hello, My name is BrazenRover, and I am a Billy." There, my first step is complete. Eljayem, unbeknownst to you, you have become my sponsor in my 12 step Billy Anonymous program where we "strive to be Billyless" so I can channel my inner Rover. Keep it up sir, these videos are fantastic. That, and I still have 11 steps.
I just started and my gosh your videos have been a life saver thank you so much seriously it's hard enough doing it by yourself but you make it easier. Keep up the good work!
The whole thing about the rules panel, I can relate to that so much. Anyone that works customer service knows what I'm talking about. So thanks for real about it, it made me smile a bit.
im not a billy lol i really appreciate this video ive just gotten back into streaming and learning all the new cool things that is offered. i just wanted to say i appreciate your videos and look forward to learning more from you as time passes. Thank you for your service to the streaming community.
Thanks for the tips , I’m new to streaming and I want my channel to have some design rather than blank as it is now gonna use your tips as soon as I get home
Thank you so much for everything. I’m about to watch all of your videos. Just build a PC, and have been considered making a RUclips and Streaming on Twitch. Gaming is my pass time, and I do it a lot, so I figured hey why not do video, or streams also. Not really worrying about profit but I do want things to look professional and to get better at the software side of things. I know this is a bit long winded, but just wanted to say thanks 🙏🏾, and keep being a blessing to others man.
Thank you for the tips. I'm actually trying to start streaming. Without any luck. Hopefully, with some of your tips and tricks I can get maybe more than 1 viewer. Thanks again
What I love about this video is my name is actually Billy so I really felt like he was addressing me, which made me feel like I was having a 1on1 tutor sesh with a teacher haha great information and helpful tips tho. Thanks!
thank you for all your help and videos it helped me customize my page and im still building up my profile. all i have now mainly is to build a schedule. i keep re-watching ur vids to update my page as im still working on it.
awesome video realized i have to fix my panels up so first thing I'll do is set up a donation button and most important copy and past your about panel . lol .
"i'm not a billy!" i am the 100th commenter (probably not true, but is as of writing this) one of my favorite things in my bio is "i don't stream often" since i haven't been live since 2016 ;)
I'm not a Billy! Also, youdid it again Eljay. Each time I look at your stream/channel for extra tips/inspiration on a certain topic, you make a video about it a few days later XD
I know you posted these tips like a year ago but I want you to know I'm binge watching them all recently and they're amazing. Ty again for all of this good content 😌
Thank you so much, great wise one!! ;; I've been struggling to figure out how to set up my twitch and you have helped me massively! This is my first computer and I have no idea what I'm doin! Thank you for teaching me! I'm still trying to find ways to set it up in a unique way and this has helped so so much!
Thank you a lot I have watched countless videos and have Been doing my research on streaming before I finally take the plunge lol this helps a lot along with many of your other videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I finally worked over my chanel and Layout thanks to you and these Videos and I am incredible thankful for these Videos and that you take yout Time of the day to help others in such detail
Hey! This video was really helpful, thanks so much! However, I do have a question. At 9:42, when you were explaining the markdowns and the indentations with the purple lines, do you know if there is any way to change the color of those lines? My aesthetic is mainly comprised of pinks (specifically corals, salmons, etc) and white, so if I had the option to change the lines they'd fit in better with my aesthetic. Or what would also work is simply making the text smaller (which is why I used the indentations in the first place). As of right now, all my text is insanely massive even without the hashtags and everything. How would I make it smaller? Also sorry if I sound dumb asking these questions. I'm a very visual learner, so examples and visual demonstrations (such as the one you used in the video when you were applying the techniques as you explained them) helps a LOT!
One thing to bear in mind is that on the mobile app the bio under your name only displays two lines of text by default. If your bio is long it'll display just two lines followed by an ellipsis (...) requiring the viewer to click to read the rest of the bio. It could be worth making your bio fit neatly in these two lines, and using the About Me panel to go into detail.
thank you bro i just have to set everything up i went from ps4,5 then built a pc and i was just streaming but now i understand time to take charge and be great at what i love
As someone who is a video producer with 7 years of experience for the last 2 years, and who's been playing video games since he was old enough to steal his brother's copy of Pokemon Silver and accidentally wasted his Master Ball on a Dratini, I resent the implication that I have simply copied and pasted your bio onto mine! Outrageous!
I was a Billy (no donation panel) or any panel for that matter. Had no idea of how you set this up. Found some more info on downloading the panel images and setting everything up. I'm stepping back and making changes. Thanks for the video!
Great tips on the panels and the "paypal tips" tip, was a "i'm sorry, what?" moment. Loved your personal story. I didn't waste my brother's Master Ball, but I DID confuse my Silver cartridge with my cousin's and...I restarted his save file lol
Hey! I'm not a Billy! Seriously, though, I'm just looking into expanding into Twitch and your tutorials make it look fun, accessible, and rewarding. Thanks so much!
I was never a Billy but, I was definitely silly and very late to the party in understanding and getting my panels sorted. However, with the guidance of this video, I sorted myself out and I've even made things compatible with the dark theme; just not in the most creative of fashions. Now to go back and see if there's any nuggets I've failed to pick up.

There, my first step is complete. Eljayem, unbeknownst to you, you have become my sponsor in my 12 step Billy Anonymous program where we "strive to be Billyless" so I can channel my inner Rover. How does anyone use light mode?! It's like the sun is burning you!
I'm not a Billy but I still learnt a lot from this video and have definitely upgraded my about section significantly. Thank you Eljay.
I'm not a "Billy" after watching this video! Thanks for all the tips! Keep making amazing content!
I know you posted these tips like a year ago but I want you to know I'm binge watching them all recently and they're amazing. Ty again for all of this good content 😌

Nice Guide! I’m going to get to work on my Channel tonight and put this info to work
Hey, I'm interested to know how to organize the panels neatly underneath each other please, great video!
These are some legendary tips. Thanks dude!
I'm not a billy! I have been needing to do this for some time now. Thanks for the great video!!
Thank you for this information I need this.
I cannot thank you enough for the organization in your video's.
There's tiny nuggets of gold genius in this video, that no one has said before
thanks for showing how to customize it is helping me improving my channel , i am working on it
Love how he's so calm about people taking his bio XDD
thank you bro i just have to set everything up i went from ps4,5 then built a pc and i was just streaming but now i understand time to take charge and be great at what i love
I'm not a Billy, I'm Undersiege...🤣 Thanks for the video.
I don't even know who Billy is. Thanks for the info. Very helpful and explained well.
Friday video? LET'S GOOOOOOO
Late video technically hahaha I took the weekend off this week, so released later :)
Thx for making these tutorials I've been trying to stream more on Twitch because your videos give me more confidence.
I'm not a billy! Really like the panels!
I was a Billy when I started, however, since I found your channel everything changed! :)
Happy to hear that, Sam! :) #earlygang
Not a Billy! A year later LOL thanks for all the creative ideas. I’ve implemented a lot of them with my own twist.
I'm not a billy....soon!
Thank you for all your vids. Little by little I'm trying to learn to build my twitch, and your tutorials help a lot. ^^
Happy to help!
Great tips on the panels and the "paypal tips" tip, was a "i'm sorry, what?" moment. Loved your personal story. I didn't waste my brother's Master Ball, but I DID confuse my Silver cartridge with my cousin's and...I restarted his save file lol
Thank you so much for the content and advice! Just started streaming so hopefully I can get to where you are sometime!
I just started streaming. Thank you for steering me in the right direction. I will not be a Billy about it
