The 2010s comment is exactly right, her team went for a that era Kpop vibe with the intention that the average person could see it as a kpop song and not just a vtuber song. Kanauru initially had the 2 Kiara's to pick from but then heard the "Love, hate, all the same" lyric which led to him using both, much to Kiara's delight as could give the MV that kpop members dance together aspect.
