Agree! The people who claim to “feel attacked” need to go touch some grass and grow tf up. Fashion is meant to be fun. Also Alexa is always so kind and considerate that anyone attacking her needs to look at themselves ❤
Finally someone who does not fall in the Sambas bangwagon! I hate the fact that sneakers are going through faster trend cycles than before. I personally see sneakers as something you should buy and keep in the long term until they break. I feel like every year we have a "hit sneaker" that does not stand the test of time. As soon as I see a new model being overly praised, I see it as a sign to avoid it. I learned my lesson with my 2018 Fila Disruptor 2 that I lowkey started to hate 1 year later.
i think i like sambas because it's a basic shoe. i cannot do chunky tennis shoes. i saw them everywhere and i just couldn't get behind them haha vans had their moment for a long time though so i think more classic/basic shoes last longer in trend cycles than more statement types
@@kyeoptawerk93ah I get the appeal for those who have the style that goes with Sambas, however I give them 2 years until they fade away from social media trends. They are more basic for sure (basic tend to last longer), but they are getting so overhyped already that I feel everyone will get tired of them pretty quickly. We'll see! i've become fond of the maxi skirt/dress silhouette in developing my personal style. they've become a staple - if styled right, they're super versatile year-round! great video, alexa
If you like the faux fur trim jacket but don't want to spend the money or want to try the look out before investing in one, you can find faux fur collars and cuffs that you can add to any coat. I have a grey faux fur collar that I like to add on top of my black overcoat or my black leather jacket. It gives it a little something extra without spending that much money.
I just wanted to let you know, I made myself a fuzzy bag out of a thrifted fuzzy scarf. I just turn it inside out and throw it in the washing machine regularly. I thrifted a fur trim coat in all black last year for $35 and it was from ugg. Literally one of the best thrifted purchases I’ve ever made because it’s such a nice coat to have in the winter when you need something dressy instead of just throwing on a north face puffer and ultimately ruining your fit 😅

The biggest irony is that everyone now is all about sustainable and minimalism... Yet you see fashion trends shifting at a speed not to keep up with. If people start dressing to a personal taste and style, they could hold on to items for many many years. But now it's trend after trend after trend... And we see in the big chains the mockup 'sustainable' clothes that just are the same childlabor stuff that wears out after 3 months of wearing.
I don't know how to feel about Uggs 😂😂😂 I absolutely loved them when I was thirteen but now that I'm almost 30 I don't know if I still like them or if I'm just influenced by seeing them everywhere 😂😂😂
I bought boots from Guess that are very similar to UGGs and another pair that are similar to UGGs. I love the look. And I love anything that is like 90s-2010 era clothing
I don’t like cowboy boots because I don’t know what to wear with them and don’t have any because I’m not a country girl and it feels like it’s a fad not a trend.
I’ve never thought so long about cowboy boots because I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. They definitely aren’t for me, but they are ubiquitous in south Texas fashion. I never realized they were something people thought about so hard or were self conscious about wearing! These vinyl ones though, just look tacky and cheap in a bad way to me. I’m not opposed to the upstyled cowboy boot trend altogether but I’m used to seeing people walking around in good quality boots. I guess there’s a new trendy boot silhouette every winter and I’m fine with the cowboy moment. Personally I’m a big fan of health and comfort over style so I will not be squishing my toes into them now or ever
💮Hi Maxine: I grew up in a big City on the West Coast, but I'm more of a country girl at heart❤️. Used to wear regular cowboy boots👢w/jeans👖or daisy dukes & a classic white tee when 🐴Western riding or hanging out at the local equestrian center/stables. 😉When I got older I caught an interest in Country Western dancing. For that I prefer below ankle cowboy booties (in nude or black suede) w/a fit & flare tea length circle skirt, & a coordinating top. The flirty swish 🔄 factor is important whenever boot scooting. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
I've got an obsession with ariat cowboy boots, they so expensive so when I find them on Ebay brand new or 60 to 80 quid, I knab them, I managed get 2 and I'm obssessed. I only buy boots with great grip and found cheaper cowboy boots have no grip and I am rubbish when the floor is slippery, I went see the fireworks in my ariat fatbaby boots and there was like sinking mud and I didn't even slip, they so good, fell in love with dr martens thanks to you and also obssessed with timberlands, they the only thing I splurge on, them and Levi's but I've never spent more then 50 quid on Levi's.
As someone who also sweats a lot… Alexa, do you ever deal with sweat stains, especially with white clothing? I love white tees but the armpits get stained so quickly and easily for me, it discourages me from wearing them.
Im a Depop seller, i give to charity. My dream is to own an actual thrift store one day. Anyway, I love your videos to get ideas of what the kids are liking and for my own personal style (which is in crisis at this time). Also I was soo self conscious as a child about my foot size, just recently I realized. I was comparing my normal feet to my sisters tiny feet 😂😂😂
I love your hair with the roots showing! Your hair, your choice of course. But I really think you should leave it as is or just leave a little root showing :)
It's so funny about shoes. I feel like my feet look big, but other people that wear the same size don't look like they have big feet. Meanwhile I have a son who wears a size 16 wide. While the shoes are hysterically huge when off his feet, when he is wearing them they don't look big because he is 6'4". So if we wear a bigger size I'll bet it only looks big to us, not to others.
I have lived in Texas all my life and don't like pointed or brightly colored cowboy boots. I prefer a more rounded toe for all my shoes. I don't mind color just not metallic colors.
Wait, I’m such a sweaty person too and get seriously sweaty hair as well… So you know what causes your sweatiness?? I haven’t really figured mine out and I get so self conscious sometimes ahh

Hi! Love the video 😍 however, no hate, I just have two kids and the background music sounded like my kids were waking up/talking (I was wearing earphones) 😏
i find it so weird that the adidas sambas are trending cause as a brazilian i'm used to seeing my brother and basically every guy wearing that to play football so it's weird to see people using casually
Hi Alexa! Have you had a dermatology appointment regarding your perspiration? You might have hyperhydrosis! I was born with it, it means you sweat a lot more. I’m my case I would sweat from my hands and feet a lot! Then I had the surgery to decrease/stop the sweating from my hands and underarms and o started sweating from my back instead 🥲 I thought it was a rare condition, but apparently it’s very common! There’s some over the counter treatments and you can also do Botox to limit the sweating! ❤
The actual list starts at 02:09 😅 I was in a talkative mood so I understand wanting to skip it 💕

@@SusannahGraceMusic you must be a country girl . I’m a city girl
@@Missmagazinebura She's from Houston. That's a huge city. Cowboy boots are very popular and common in Texas and the Southern US.

Love you and everything u do. Keep up being you. Please. Keep up great work. Lots of love 💘 💕
So kind 😭❤️
Have you tried taking Magnesium vitamins to help with sweat? I've noticed a big difference in myself when I started taking it :)
I carry my furry bag to college and it helps as an anxiety reliever😭
It's so funny about shoes. I feel like my feet look big, but other people that wear the same size don't look like they have big feet. Meanwhile I have a son who wears a size 16 wide. While the shoes are hysterically huge when off his feet, when he is wearing them they don't look big because he is 6'4". So if we wear a bigger size I'll bet it only looks big to us, not to others.
I have lived in Texas all my life and don't like pointed or brightly colored cowboy boots. I prefer a more rounded toe for all my shoes. I don't mind color just not metallic colors.
I emphasize with the sweating issue. I too am a very sweaty person.

Those “fur” trimmed jackets are extremely retro.
love you thank you
i find it so weird that the adidas sambas are trending cause as a brazilian i'm used to seeing my brother and basically every guy wearing that to play football so it's weird to see people using casually
We all have different styles its ok. I dont like brown anything and its sooo popular i like it on others though just not for me 😊
me 2 months ago: omg these adidas sambas are so ugly
me rn: omg i love these! where can i find them? hahah

I live in Texas and never find cowboy boots at my goodwill. I guess people don’t donate them here 😢
Is that Carrie Daytons white lamp?
No we happened to have the same one! She got hers at a thrift store in Arizona and mines from Facebook marketplace ❤️
