Idk how long this series will end up being but if any of you want my thoughts so far as to whether to buy the game now or wait I'd honestly have to say wait till the devs drop a couple patches. There's simply too many performance issues at the moment (on PC that is, Idk whats the situation on xbox). Other than that I'm honestly having a BLAST in online multiplayer. If you enjoy motorsport racing & such it's pretty good. Things like tirewear, fuel, changing weather conditions midrace etc make for unpredictable & fun racing. As for single player... I haven't even touched it so I can't comment on it lmao. What are your personal thoughts on the Forza reboot? 🤔👀
I have the recommended specs and the game is stuttering like crazy atm. So I play on Series X, and 1 online race out of 2 crashes. I hope the game's fixed as soon as possible because it's just unplayable.

At 8:00 you can cut that part of the track legally. Gives you a straighter exit out. And its funny a lot of ppl don't know about it great way to pass someone too since most people take the long way around.
Funny thing about mid-ohio T1, that pit exit part of it is actually part of the track as far as the game is concerd at least, so you won't even get investigated for using it, you just gotta be careful about the kerb or you go flying

I feel like Penalty Systems in Racing Games are really hard to balance. It's no wonder Gran Turismo and Forza Motorosport's Penalty Systems are cursed. The way I see it, either they need to balance out the Penalty System during development, or, if they have to launch the game, balance out the Penalty System with the Updates.

They not only need to balance but also tweak that a certain action is needed to cause a penalty, like, example: Track Violation, if you got wide you can get punished, but slowing down is all you need or mostly a warning, but if you cut a corner too much: this should be considered time penalty. Contact should not count as a penalty unless it is intendional to cause a spin out or even push the driver away, because let us face it: first turn pile up always cause Contact to happen and time penalty shouldn't even be activated there. Being the victim and getting punished? Wtf T10.
Getting a perfect penalty system while in development would be almost impossible to achieve because the system wouldn’t get enough stress testing without the full weight of the community testing it out. I think that the best option should have been for them to release an open beta to test out the new systems and then actually listen to the feedback so that they can tweak it before the actual launch
If they make this in VR like gran turismo did, then i'll believe its real life. and with the steering wheel and those chairs that move around based on what you do
I was running a touring race at spa in the rain. I get absolutely obliterated in the first corner after starting 5th of 21 drivers. I had to come in to get a new set of tires, so I came in. When I proceed to come out, I am given a 3 second penalty for “skipping the track” even though I was in the pits. I was then spun into eau rouge, causing me to finish 18th
what most amazes me is that 90% of the problems are problems that FM7 had, and this a game 6 years apart, "built from the ground up" have all of the same bugs, glitches and yet nothing is done to alleviate other people mistakes and rammers, like track return in ghost mode how difficult is to do that?, like a car that is stopped on track (ghosted) start to accelerate when reaches 20km/h it ghost out, just keep the dam thing ghosted until it reaches pace, usually there is someone at 250km/h coming, add a f*cking ghost when drivers/rammers brake too late, just that would improve the overall gameplay by miles.
