Hello from Austria :) we not only manufacture the strongest buckles in the world, but also ( OBVIOUSLY! ) carabiners :) #strenghisbuiltnotgiven :-) We are already looking forward to the next video! --> May we bet? ;-)

Thank you for your trust in our quality from Austria! Development and production are in one place: in Tyrol. This guarantees the highest quality and safety of the products, as we have full control ourselves.
Question for a future video... Is there any real value to the fancy anti-crossloading belay carabiners? Even minor axis strength is 8kn+ and I can't find any documented cases of belay carabiners breaking.
You should use the same application on all gear ,and made into a series. Harness vs harnesses, gri gri vs Birdy , Guide A.T.C vs Tube A.T.C. dragons vs Alain's ect.
As a tree guy who's gear sees abuse, the first I will still buy is a DMM Though should have tried ISC... but don't know if they make a nonsteel pear shape
Can you do a video with doing a break test but have them be connected to the machine as a pair? I.E. does doubling the carabiner double the strength/safety?
AWESOME VIDEO! Now for a little terminology definition - Single action = non locking carabiner |double action/single locking = screw gate or single autolocking carabiner | triple action/double locking = a carabiner that requires two distinct motions to release the locking mechanism prior to being able to open the gate. This matters to the ‘treepeople’ because of how abusive we are to gear and those pesky ANSI standards/OSHA
@@alexanderruff1829 thanks for the comment! I had never seen or heard of the Grivel twin gate carabiners and I really like the ingenious design. I would call them a double action nonlocking caribiner. From my perspective (and I am not the end all be all in this department) there are two distinctive gates that open in opposite directions with no locking mechanism on either gate.
@@peterpwn9558 mit der Vorbelastung ist es echt schwer zu sagen :) aber die 30kN+ sollten drin sein. :) bin echt schon gespannt @HowNOT2 - we are waiting for the final video ... :) go for it!

About 3-4 weeks. I have to make sure 8 episodes are all done together which is a lot of work while continuing to put out regular Wednesday videos. But soon!
Dmm has since downgraded their green hms to 25kn on all newer carabiners I’ve been able to find near me. The red twist lock is still rated at 32 however.
My prediction: Austrailpin is going to blow at 39.81 kN, one percent higher "percent over MBS" than that final BD Locker achieved in this track meet. (Of course, that's assuming you guys do it CORRECTLY, and make sure you put hinge-side of the Caribiner on the pull-side, and the Nose-side of 'biner on the static side🤣)
