Congrats! They look beautiful! I had the same ones for mine a couple years ago and it took 6 months for Gary to get steel to make them so it’s good to see they have them in stock! The nice thing about Dayton compared to cheaper wheels is they tuck the rear fender skirts without much if any modifications bc their offset! Great content as always and love the videos and how to’s!
Very high quality wheels for sure. The quality shows in how hard they are to balance and it looks like yours took very little weight. Some time you have to go to a Road Force Balance if you have any problem while driving. With Road Force it will tell you what position to mount them, crazy but it works. I would like to see some 25" in real life, must look wild 🙂
Looking dope AF. Sir !!! I like my white walls about twice that thick, I’ve found one company that actually makes 13” tires with a 1.5 inch white wall and the tires are made that way they are not buffed out, they are called “Kontio White Paw” and they have a 1.5 inch WW. But that’s just a preference thing.. I’m a 64 drop guy, I’m trying to have one some day, that being said you’ve made me way more of a 60 fan by just watching this build…being disabled on disability income doesn’t make it easy to get a hold a a 64 rag, but everyone’s got a ambition..lol anyways I look forward to seeing that engine bay all dressed up sir !!! Love and respect goes out !!!💯
Nice wheels, looks great on the your car. Had some china ones few years back, had some problems with them. Its always pays to buy the best if you can aford it. Gracias for showing.
I remember seeing your stash of wheels on Layitlow, back in the day. I rode on keith aka homeboyz chi-neths for so long, until I got real Jim Craig Zeniths, regret selling them everyday. Just never had a car worthy enough to get some Daytons lol
I really enjoy you channel and content. Great job! Good to see that you've bought genuine Dayton Wire Wheels. Dayton was ("is" to those true to the lowriding culture) the "must-have" wire wheels for lowriders during the '90's. Any other wheels ('pretendos'-Young Hogg) besides Dayton and one was laughed at. During the 2000's (and today) people began buying fake Zenith Wire Wheels. Zenith Wire Wheels was purchased by McLean/Roadster in the late '90's. I know this because I read it (with picture) in 'Scrape' magazine. There hasn't been a genuine Zenith since then. Also, Coker Tires (Corky Coker) owns the rights to Zenith Wire Wheels when they purchased McLean/Roadster. What's puzzled me is that the so-called "OG's" from California didn't know this and continue to buy fake Zeniths. Shouldn't be surprised. Some of these same "OG's" put Toyota Tacoma rear-ends under their lowriders (LOL).
Yes!. I recorded him mounting the tire but unfortunately i must have hit a button I didn't mean to but it recorded in warp speed setting. So atleast I was able to salvage the video
Very Nice! Nothing like a Dayton wheel.
