Good video. I remember as a kid in high school looking at the advertisement for them in Lowrider Magazine. 🤔 I wanna say the truck, "Punch 84" had Roadstars on in.
So refreshing to see these!!! Not knocking it but man im so sick of those 2-bar china zenith KO's. I miss these 3-ways and Daytons. Nothing like em.💪🏽👍🏽
I didn't know the Allen was that wide when I first looked at the box I did some work for a relative and he didn't like gold spokes and wanted new ones so the car he bought had these and gave them to me for some work I never had these before I had Sinister's but I remember them
Are those adapters longer than the normal old-school ones that don’t use a lock like that and if so, would you have to get a different size rim instead of a 13 x 7 you would have to get something a little bit more narrow??
Never had roadsters, remember the ads in the mags, but what a bitch to put on and off. I had mclean's, but you had 1 or 2 shots to put on moon cap or those little tabs wore out and would rattle and or fall off. Couldnt afford dayton's. This is 1995 or so.
That is a complicated for sure, I can see how some of them got wrecked by people trying to use a big hammer on them. Looks like you have a nice collection of parts for them 🙂
Right on I got some knowledge

Yessir. Punch 84 did
I learned something new today I always use just the regular knock off
😎
Best wheels ever made!
😎

Good for me, bad for you
how much ballpark would a 3x gold gold+ knock off be selling for if i could find some for sale?
4 to 5000
@@lonestarlows thanks how about a gold 3 prong knock off set alone?
@mattv8919 I don't have Amy 3 prong sets. I have a 2 prong set that is faded gold
Never knew this. Now I want a set. 😅
👀👀
Are the spokes on Roasters stainless steel
No
I have some Roasters gold spoke and chrome they are a 3 series but one doesn't haves the lock next to the 3/4 drive can I find the lock

It was there it was in a box and it has the 3 wing knock offs

It's a totally different wheel
Bad ass video bro would love to have a set like those in chrome and then a all gold set love the old school locking adapters

Mclean bolt ons are one of the wire wheels I've never had. I didn't like the small spinners
To me they are better than Dayton you don't have to worry about them flying off
Arguable....there's only 3 types of wheels I like. Roadstars, daytons , and series 2 zeniths
Need a set 5x4.75 or 120
That's genius..... For the lug nuts on the adaptors do you use short ones? And can you use closed end lug nuts?
Small acorn style lug nuts is what u want to use

Some of those pictures at the end are old but I still have a small stash
😃✌️👍
The knock off version are actually called Roadstars not Roadsters.
Yes I know
How much $$$
No
Man where you get those adapters like that. My knockoffs are made to lock the wheel old school way
Good video..prices just went up..thanks 🙄
