Thank you! They’ve been on since I posted this; I still love them. Take it up to 60-65mph all the time and they do awesome! Thanks for taking the time to comment 👊🏻
I have almost every lowrider mag from those years. True there were more 14 being used back then but did not overcome the 13. Currently before the mag became digital 13's all over covers and centerfolds. Well good luck on those big tires. I never had or have problems on real 13's. Even on my ASTRO van. Real 13's not coker 13's they bubble
I had a little brother who always wanted to do a Astro van. It’s good we all have different likes and dislikes; or all us lowriders would be the same. 🙏🏻
I love the way the Coker’s tuck and look. But as far as driving my lowrider on the highway; I would never go back. I can go 60-65 now and actually feel safe. But for show, and driving around town like 40-45 I love the 5.20’s/Cokers
I’m afraid I’ll have to disagree with you on your definition of “real lowriders” if we’re talking about OG lowriders from the 70’s/80’s most of them road 14’s with 5.20’s As more Gbodys came into the game the 13’s became more common. With most who wanna drive their lowrider on the highway; the radial tires are a much safer/smoother ride. I went with 14’s/radials and an LS engine because I enjoy driving mine on the highway and feeling safe while doing so. As far as considering myself a “real lowrider” I would, I took a car that was rusting away; built a rotisserie, cutout all the rusted panels and replaced them. And replaced every nut and bolt on my Impala. Looking back, I would have went with cross-laced 13’s; but I’d still go with the radials for the ride quality 👍
Hello there! I believe that rim/tire combo would work with drum brakes. I’m not 100 percent sure though; I’d suggest joining a Facebook group related to your specific car and get a second opinion just to be sure. I hope that helps, thanks for commenting!
After driving on the highway, I’ll never run anything else again! I bought them on EBay, they’re a little more now, but still way cheaper that the Coker’s
The front ones, about 2-3K. The rear ones have been on two summers so far; got another summer left on them. The front’s would maybe last longer; if I could keep my front end alignment up to date lol
@@vencilldavid damn, thats not alot lol. Im thinking about buying a 93 cadillac with switches here on offerup for $8500 but trying to drive it often. Seems like ill be thinking about it lil more😂
Unfortunately the guy who was making them passed away. You might ask around on the wire rim groups in FB. Hopefully someone else makes them too; that thing is amazing

Get the most out of your 3 wheel by locking the front all the way up. Looks like u had a lil more room to go on the lockup 👍🏽
I thought about that after I did it. Yeah, I don’t think I had the front lifted all the way.
I recently got a lowrider I’m thinking of changing the Coker’s to Remington on my 96 Fleetwood but hesitant if they’re not going to look right

5.20’s are more for looks. The best lowrider tire is Kontio White Paw. 💯
I completely agree about the 5:20’s! I haven’t heard if the Kontio White Paw’s, I’ll have to check into them! Thanks
Why are you on 14's to begin with? 13's only... and only premium sportways 520 13's only real lowriders drive on 13's never 14's period

Should went with 13inch rims.
I definitely agree! Someday, when I change them up, I’m definitely gonna go with the 13’s

Nice 59 u got there lol
Thanks! I’m still debating on what I wanna do with it. I wish they still re-popped the quarters
I run radials too. Where did you order the Remingtons from?
After driving on the highway, I’ll never run anything else again! I bought them on EBay, they’re a little more now, but still way cheaper that the Coker’s
I will check for those my next set. I’m running Hankook 185 75 14. Found one after my accident Walmart online
How many miles do you get off the remingtons?
The front ones, about 2-3K. The rear ones have been on two summers so far; got another summer left on them.

Where can I find that hex knockoff tool!?

I agree! Unfortunately I had bought the 14’s years ago.. maybe when I upgrade!
All that money for garbage travel Stars they look good too
Haven’t tried the Travel Stars yet; I’m still happy with the Remingtons so far. I’m definitely still open to others though. Thanks for commenting 👊🏻
