I like salt, as well. I googled an interesting fact: The Latin word "salarium," from which we derive the word "salary," actually has its roots in salt. Roman soldiers were partially paid in salt, known as "salarium argentum." This allocation of salt ensured that soldiers could preserve their rations and stay nourished during campaigns and long marches. The rest of their salary was paid in coins.
I love these fancy vlogs, because I'm a average working man and I don't usually go to these celebrity chef owned restaurants. I also enjoy your not so expensive vlogs as well, since most of the time it's your company rather than the food. DTM is back with the comps and tier match.
I'm a Vietnam Veteran. Serviced 1964 - 1968. I ask for a Veteran discount when I make big purchases. I never ask in Las Vegas for the discount. I have been turned down so many times where I live in California. I quit asking. Do you know how many restaurants offer the discount? What is the percentage of the discount at the restaurants? And how do you prove that you are a Vet? So I carry a copy of my discharge papers DD 214 and dog tag all the time, since my discharge. It was a tough time, hard to forget. Now I don't want to forget.
Oysters, Duck Confit. You living the Life now. I actually just liked to watch the Ducks Hanging in Chinatown. They look so luscious, with crispy skin and glaze..I just never ordered them lol
Wow that was an expensive meal. Glad to hear this was too fancy for your taste buds. Duck is always an upscale protein. How did it compare to Peking Duck? Personally I prefer Peking Duck since it is always part of a 7 or 9 course dinner.
Hmmm, Bobby Flay restaurant . Tap water. Salt for presentation. Oyster fried looked great! 🦪. Happy clams tasted good. Now to the wings, with sauces, ditch the fork, use your hands 👍. Wings not your usual style. Duck confit is dark meat, rice might have been a nice accompaniment . Keep on videoing on Fridays, DTM😀.
This is one of those places where the average man eats the meal and then rounds out the meal with a In-N-Out double-double Combo#1 snack. 13:30 I liked your Costello impression.
Duck Confit barbarian style...I've always wanted to eat a Cantonese roast duck barbarian style. You can get a whole roast duck for $35. Bobby Flay only give you the leg and thigh for $38.
Not a Bobby Flay fan, so how high end can he make breaded oysters and clams? 🤔 Probably some guy in the back emptying Costco frozen breaded seafood into shells. 🤣 The duck confit looked legit though, but not good when the sauce overpowers the food.
Danny with a mic up close and it's a gigantic mic The people overpower you anyway get rid of the mic😅 All we could hear is the people sounds like Hell's kitchen😂
I am aware that some people on earth like to pronounce it Duck Con FEE. But I, like to do it my way and read things as it is written. Thank You.
That's fine DTM, pronounce it anyway you feel like or you can just call it the brown thing with reduction sauce.
You tell ‘em Danny!
@dannythemedic I Stand With Danny The Medic! He can call, and or pronounce ConFee however he wants on HIS channel! 👌
Pronounce it as it spelled. Your channel, your rules Danny.
I LOVE when your inner Owl makes an appearance.

You must have got some good comps or food credit. Thx for sharing. "Duck Con Fee" lol

$113 for one meal! Wow!
Food is expensive on the strip because you're paying for the expensive leases.
One slice of Pizza at any Strip Hotel will run you 10.00. I know..but it;s true.

peking duck superior!

New Vegas Video on Friday's!!! Terrific guys!
You are so funny, the way you ate the Duck and with the sauce it was great. Thank you so very much.
Love ur food vlogs Danny. Will keep in our bucket list for next visit to Vegas. Keep them fun n coming 👍😂😂.Tks n good luck on your growin channel.👍👏
So much better and less distracting to watch the vid with a wall behind you. Good one!
I looked it up and the side that came with your duck was tangerine, almond and pomegranate, not sour peanuts🤣🤣🤣 You crack me up!
I'm jealous of the baked clams. They're rare these days.
I think they are just called Baked Stuffed Clams in New England!! Not rare!!
My husband is a physical education teacher who drinks "hose water" at Field Day. Kids were horrified he refilled their water bottles with it. 😅❤
The clams and oysters looked very good! I would have sipped the juices from the shells, there was a lot of flavor there!
Excellent Danny👍👍you make my DAY👌👌👌
Hey DTM why didn't to show us the prices? Did old Caesars discourage you from showing cost?
He showed prices at the end.
@@truth4004 Thanks!

That crappy food must be quite expensive.
I’m going to try that next time I go to Las Vegas
We were all looking! 😮
A glass of house red wine with the duck confit would make it a 10. So Peking duck or duck confit?
Duck Confit barbarian style...I've always wanted to eat a Cantonese roast duck barbarian style. You can get a whole roast duck for $35. Bobby Flay only give you the leg and thigh for $38.
Look like pomegranate seeds with the sauce. 😋
Did this new restaurant replace another Bobby Flay restaurant?
i dunno
You get a comp or food credit for this? Must be nice to live like a high roller!!
I would not have tried this if not for the comp!
Looked like pomegranate seeds with the duck 😊
Yes that is exactly what they are and they looked under ripe very white but red. That is why they were sour.
Tangerine, almonds and pomegranate
DTM having his fancy $100+ meal. You must be making a lot of youtube money (or enjoying your comp credits lol).
DTM...Barbarian...lol
Good review will try in vegas
Seems noisy but delicious
Tap Water® by Bobby Flay
What do you do with leftover food? Do you take the leftovers? That’s an awful lot of money you spend to just leave it there.
It’s Friday and here’s a new video from Danny The Medic #wulffdendad
Round table = Napkin on the lap.
🌴😎🌈Aloha 🤙🏼
Where are the free breads, all those dishes were too salty to eat by themselves !
The salt on the plates is for placing the seafood and presentation only. Nobody is eating that!
Not a Bobby Flay fan, so how high end can he make breaded oysters and clams? 🤔 Probably some guy in the back emptying Costco frozen breaded seafood into shells. 🤣 The duck confit looked legit though, but not good when the sauce overpowers the food.

Best eaten by hand
Danny I cringe seeing you drink the tap water without lemon. I hate the taste of Vegas tap water straight. I love your videos! Try a lemon❤
you get used to the taste of lake mead water!
🤙
Waste of good salt. Just put the Oysters on plate with some garnish…good enough!
Very posh tooo posh for me eat hearty and be safe!
Whooooooooooooaaaa delish!!
The duck confit with the "WHO, WHO" sauce looked interesting! Would you eat it again?
I will not eat it again at that price level
Almost a straight flush. Vegas was built by Almost getting something . lol
I've almost gotten a royal straight flush at least 50 times.
You forgot how much
did I not show the menu?
I need a $100 comp to eat like you do. 😊
So far look delicious 😋❤
Danny, it is no ones business how much salt you eat. Don't respond to them. Humans needs salt as part of our diet, as you said.
Stick to Beef Fun Chow with no bean sprouts and tap water 💦
I love duck, fatty and delicious!
You’re so lucky you can eat duck. I like it but it doesn’t like me.
Show us the rest of the menu on one of your boring videos 😊
i threw them away!
That microphone doesn't look nice and a beautiful restaurant especially on your table where you're eating all that fabulous food😢
whaaaa?? it looks GREAT!
The food in Vegas is highly overrated. We have better seafood here in Plymouth Mass.
Food at the casino and strip is very overrated farther from the strip the better it gets
