      It's so true. I can't believe he wears those sleeveless T-shirts in most restaurants. Many people at those expensive buffets are dressed like they are going to Walmart.

    • @LordLOC

      It's the same with channels like UA Eats etc. as soon as you see the nice sleeved shirt or a dry-cleaned kind of shirt - you know it's going to be a fancy place or a really expensive steakhouse etc. :D

      @@charleshamilton9274 Well, I mean, yes lol but also, it's freaking Vegas! It's hot man. Do you really want to run around in a silk shirt or some fabric that doesn't breathe good? I certainly don't blame Shin for wearing sleeveless shirts as I live in South Florida and god damn man the heat AND humidity just makes it so uncomfortable. At least in Vegas there's no humidity (usually).

    I love that more and more restaurants and even bars are realizing mocktails are a revenue stream. As a person who doesn't drink anymore but would still like to participate in the social activity of drinking I really appreciate having options besides water and soft drinks.

    • @VegaswithShin
      @VegaswithShin  2 месяца назад +1

      Agreed! I'm not a huge drinker, especially on the strip where the prices are insane. But the social aspect of drinking is a huge part of it so it's nice to have the options agreed. Thanks for watching Michelle!

      100% tho it seems like the adoption is somewhat uneven. I think it's absurd for any sort of high-end restaurant to not offer at least two premium n/a beers - because there are so many excellent choices out there. I've never been a huge cocktail or wine person, but it's awesome to see a decent list of mocktails or even n/a wine (tho I hear the n/a wine is unimpressive...)

    when I go to a French restaurant I look for 3 things - escargot, French onion soup and bouillabaisse. I would not get a steak with gochujiang sauce (WTH). This place is as French as Panda Express is Chinese and way overpriced.

      Caesars owns and staffs the restaurant, they license the chefs name. The chef "may" come up with the menu and how everything is prepared. Caesars has to meet a certain standard on service and food quality. It's a quick and easy way for Caesars to get a big name chef in and the chef gets a percentage of the gross revenue, so they make money for doing literally nothing.

    French? I don’t see much French influence. No thanks…French Fries is the only frenchy I eat. Thanks for sharing!

      French onion soup is pretty approachable also I think. But agreed, not a lot of tradtional French cuisine here. Thanks for watching!

    The food looks good, but, having spent a lot of time in France I cannot remember ever seeing half these dishes served in any French restaurant. To me this is more like let's take US proteins etc and add a French sauce to them. Try Bouchon, it's better.

    • @VegaswithShin
      @VegaswithShin  2 месяца назад

      Yeah, much more French fusion here than strictly traditional fare. I do have Bouchon on the list! I'll check them out eventually. Thanks for watching!

    The ceramic coating on the cast iron seems to be flaking off of the Mac n’ cheese. Not a death sentence, but I’d be afraid of some coming off in the food.

    Another OUTRAGIOUSLY HIGH PRICED FOOD NETWORK STAR'S RESTAURANT! Worth the prices? Don't think so! As usual, Most All French Restaurants serve VERY SMALL PORTIONS AND CHARGE VERY OUTRAGIOUSLY HIGH PRICES! Win the LAUGHTERY and then you can afford to eat at ANY BOBBY FLAY'S REASTAURANTS! But, in order to receive enough of each Entry? Will need to order double or triple order!

    • @VegaswithShin
      @VegaswithShin  3 месяца назад

      Yeah. French cuisine often does result in much smaller portions for high prices. No different here. Thanks for watching!

    I have never been impressed with any Bobby Flay restaurant I have eaten at. He’s not the best human being, but Mario Batali always had way better restaurants.

    Not a place I would enjoy. Pesto doesn't belong in French Onion soup. Some of the worst meals I ever had while living in Germany was in Paris.

      I wouldn't get it often but it was an interesting twist on the soup that was enjoyable that night. I've never been to France but I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!

    food looked good... but a cut under CUT. Some of the dishes seemed gimmicky, and for that price I would expect more classy. Head chef needs to taste the food before it leaves.

    I really wouldn't call this a classic French Brasserie. It's clearly Bobby's vision. None of the classic entrees on the menu like, beef bourguignon, cassoulet, and coq au vin. The one dish that's true to the Brasserie, duck confit, he blew. He should have prepared that dish to perfection. I'll be passing on Bobby's New French. Btw, your facial expressions didn't come close to those at "Cut."
