Thoughts on Bacchanal's Brunch Buffet?
Would you eat here?
You should try the buffet at four seasons
If I could, I would. Never had brisket, just never been around brisket. The 2nd & 3rd plates are more my plates, parts of #4, I see what they were trying to do with the breakfast burger thing; combine rad stuff from a breakfast sandwich & a burger into a single sandwich, & the 5th plate; the dessert plate: would probably check all that stuff out too.
No. It's not worth the money IMO
You might have talked to the manager at the beginning and let them know you are promoting their buffet. I’m sure they would have made an exception. I’ve eaten here a dozen times and was never rushed even when I exceeded 1.5-2 hours. I always tip 20% at time of purchase and I engage with the staff and give them extra tip: I know they work so hard. So glad you liked this buffet as much as I do!
100%, hopefully in October, coming down for the Packer game! YeeHaw!!!!!
I hate feeling rushed at a restaurant. I never return when they do that. I’m not here to stuff my face as fast as I can, I want to actually taste the food!
If you need more than 90 minutes at a buffet either you don't eat on a regular basis OR you spent your time creating content for social media instead of eating.
The fact of the matter is OTHER PEOPLE would like to enter the buffet. Stop lolly gagging and eat. BTW maybe you should step on a scale since you, by your own words, stuff your face with food.
I eat slower then most people. I also like to enjoy my food and I chew my food more then most. At 150 pounds I feel like im paying extra for that fat trucker who only eats crab at the buffet.
I totally agree cause I am also a slow eater. After paying $65 for one person you are not gonna tell me when to leave. I definitely would NOT go there I don't care how darn good the meat is.
@@ginjjiigok364 what a shit post.
@@asmrmoonlight2025 chill nobody told her to leave.
Thank you for including the not-so-subtle "you've overstayed your welcome" so we know what to expect. Given the reasonable price for that quality of food, I can't fault them for the ninety-minute time limit and will keep that firmly in mind when I dine there next month.
I can. Shady Maple in Pennsylvania is around $15 and far higher quality (they even make certain items hot and fresh on ask, and custom too. I went at breakfast so one of these stands were making pancakes, and had so many toppings, including M&Ms. Those pancakes were so good 😋)
Plus, they have an extreme amount of dining space to accommodate the idea of having a rush, and never had a time limit while I was there (double checked just now, they serve meal period the whole time until about 45 minutes before that meal period will end, then they clean up and serve the next one. Meaning that even breakfast at least has around 2hr and 15m for dining. Far more than the stupid 90 minute here for 4x the price)
Lmao
Looks good, but as I get older, I just can rarely eat more than one plate. Love your reviews and content!
I can't image eating all that food.. too much
I'm the same way. I would like to try all the different foods but I just can't anymore.
Ruby, you give us such a great review of the food. I love how you can tell the difference in the cheeses. I never miss a food video! I probably won’t get to Vegas this year. Before my husband passed away, we’d do Vegas at least 5 times a year. Thanks again for the awesome review!
I've been watching your videos over a long time span in anticipation of going to Vegas this summer. But I realized that's it's going to be too much for me. Moneywise, driving, parking fees, expensive restaurants, tipping, etc. I don't even gamble lol. So I sold my tickets to the 2 shows I had gotten way back in February. I made someone happy yesterday. They apparently were waiting for wheelchair tickets. I'm just not a spring chicken anymore. But thanks for your hard work in the videos. It helped me to be realistic.
I ate here last year and I think we did leave at right about 90 minutes anyway (we were so full) but no one ever did anything to suggest we should get moving. Maybe it was because of being there at the cheaper price? We honestly liked the Wynn and Wicked Spoon more
they're prob stricter on breakfast people and her standing out more with a giant camera
Appreciate the close up’s, we can see the textures and fresh ingredients
Travel Ruby is hands down the best Vegas Reviewer in every respect. I would love to join her at a buffet- such expertise and personality!
@VegasStarfish is a local reviewer and she's Awesome.
Not sure her husband would be down with that plan James 😂
The food all looks great and I’d definitely choose that $65 buffet over the other one since I don’t care much for crab legs anyways, but that strict time limit seems really frustrating and stressful!
I can't think of a time I've ever wanted or needed 90 minutes (or even close to that) to eat. Seems more than long enough to me. It isn't like you are sitting down to order and waiting for your food, etc. It is all right there.
@@debbielockhart7762 I’d say it’s more about the feeling of being rushed than not being able to get what you want in 90 mins.
90 minutes is more than enough time to eat. What Ruby was doing was likely taking a ton of food and then not eating most of it. That's against buffet etiquette.
@@NytronXwhen you assume...
It really is i took my hole family we are from Barstow so not much teeth just trying to eat the corn on the cob takes time
I’ve only been to their dinner buffet. About 8 times. Always go back for my favs and try new items every time. My favorite high end buffet in LV. Never gone in their with an eye on a stopwatch. Just went and enjoyed myself. Variety and quality. Worth every penny
Wow.... Serious appreciation for the information.... The Bacchanal's Brunch Buffet looks very impressive. We look forward to visiting the BB. Thank you so much for the tips and information....
Good to hear that there is consistency with the food. Do all the buffets in Vegas have a time limit? 90 minutes for a buffet that large and at that price is not enough. Plus there were a lot of empty tables behind you. I used your channel when I travelled last August. Will be going again in spring 2024. Appreciate your reviews.
I'm from Southern CA and go to Vegas often and I frequent buffets. I've never heard of that happening before. That's honestly crazy, IMO.
We’ve never been rushed out of a buffet before this was new for us
Wynn buffet is better than Bacchanal these days and officially a 2 hour time limit but I've been there for 3 just eating and socializing, no issues.
They are not strict
I ate at Bacchanal Buffet in late summer 2019 before pandemic. I was rushed out at 90 minutes. It was 11 o’clock on a Tuesday so definitely not busy.
I thoroughly enjoy your reviews of the different places to eat in Vegas, thank you for doing such a wonderful job. It’s too bad about the time limit as I am a grazer and I enjoy scoping all the different things out. Not necessarily eating everything, but checking things out.
Ooh this looks goooood! Loco Moco is from my home state (Hawaii), love furikake as a condiment. Cavatappi is my go-to for making mac n cheese at home so I would probably enjoy the pasta. Also love me some pozole! I do a creme brulee test as well because one of my caterer friends makes the most amazing creme brulee anywhere. It made me sad that they were rushing you out. 90 minutes is not enough! It would definitely detract from my enjoyment of the food. That being said, I still want to check it out next time I go to Vegas.
I ate at Bacchanal this morning. They have Spam musubi. Such a variety of food. Enjoy!
I would sooo eat here a thousand times over!!! You made everything look so great!! Thanks for trying it for us!
Ruby is the queen of buffet reviews. Mr. Ruby's camerawork kicks ass. I wouldn't have considered the Bacchanal Buffet cuz I hate Caesar's but I'll definitely give it a whirl next trip.
I literally went to the Border Grill brunch buffet because of Ruby's review & I wouldn't have even know about it if not for her vid.
You won't overeat at the Border Grill brunch and you leave satisfied that you got your money's worth. When good buffets were under $30 it was a bargain and didn't matter if you couldn't sample everything, now when paying much more, it's a waste.
It all looks delicious and definitely worth the money ! Thanks so much for sharing.
Nothing says classy decor like sitting next to a fire extinguisher.
Thank you for your art!
Thanks for your profile of Bacchanal at Caesars.Everything looked so good.💛🧡💜
politely being asked to leave the buffet, then going in for deserts..... legend status achieved ! 😂
I mean 😂 I was kinda waiting for a manager so they could also get in trouble for rushing an influencer 😂
@@jenniferselman8779 So influencer don't have to follow the rules. You must love the ACE FAMILY since they are involved in scams and criminal activity.
BTW How much PRIME and ZOO TOKENS did you buy from Logan Paul?
@@MrBadjohn69😮 Wow
Go Ruby! Let them know who is boss!!!!
@@MrBadjohn69 lol! The criminal activity of promoting the Buffet instead of enjoying their meal in peace 🤣
Good for you for hanging in there.
Just got back from Vegas. Tried both Wicked Spoon and Bacchanal. Food was amazing at both! Bacchanal has the extensive shellfish selection. Just made the time limit 90 min, felt slightly rushed during desert. Also note , we didn't have reservations and signed up to be put on the list. There were 30 people ahead of us, but because we stayed waiting at the restaurant
we were seated in 10 minutes! The staff were super polite and accommodating
Next time I would opt for Wicked Spoon, mainly because I am not a big shellfish eater, other than shrimp. Wicked Spoon is just as good as Bacchanal, smaller shellfish selection, but also a bit less money.
Thanks for your Vegas advice Ruby !
Your a pro, great channel !
Everything looks great, really hope I don't get rushed like you guys did when I go in August!
A 90 minute time limit is standard for almost every buffet but lightly enforced . They probably made more of an issue because of going early for the crossover cheaper price. Next time go 12:45pm or got at 1pm and stay until well after 3pm.
This was my thought-they know people will come in early to try and get the cheaper price.
Is that time limit standard for Vegas buffets? I've heard of time limits on buffets in Japan but never in the US. I don't go to very many buffets, though.
@@celia61597 I would say a time limit is on most buffets vegas or not. They usually just have that time limit on the receipt as a “kind” message and never a huge sign on entry so it’s not very noticeable.
I love her top in this vid. The button up with the casual roll of the sleeves works.
I really love your buffet reviews! Makes me want to go to Las Vegas
Thank you for your review. I will have to try this out in November when I return to Vegas. I hope they don't rush us out though....but you handled it with grace... Love you videos and will continue to support.
"Just small pieces please." WHOOMP. I mean, Jesus, did y'all see the monstrous hunks of brisket & tritip the carver dropped on Ruby? Frickin' hilarious! 🤣
I was thinking “geez, I’m glad she asked for the small piece.”
😂 me too, I'm like what..
I agree... 90 minutes isn't enough time to really enjoy a $65 buffet. Wife and I went there for dinner about a year ago and felt it was a little over priced and over hyped. It was packed and there were some things that felt seemed over cooked and like they were out for a while. We might go back on a mid week and see if its any better.
it's a fkin buffet not a michelin star restaurant
90 minutes is 1hr and 30 min. How do you sit and eat for that long.
You’re videos are so informative and detailed I actually became anxious when you were informed it was time to leave.
The food looks delicious. Thanks for sharing!
We went about a month ago and stayed over the 90 minute period. Stayed for about 2.5 hours and our server even chatted with us for a while.
I guess it really varies depending on the server you have? Either way, the food was great and I would definitely recommend!
Yaaa me too! The server she had is a 🍆!
Probably also the amount of people waiting to get in.
2.5 hours? Sorry but I find that hard to believe. 😂
Did you tip beforehand? I might hand my waiter a 20
I love your buffet videos! Please do more!❤
That Tri-Tip is California’s brisket. I’m in southern NM, West Texas area, and our Tri-Tip is Brisket!!! We love our Brisket, but a good Tri-Tip can’t be beat. Hubby and I own a retail meat market, (old fashioned kind where you pick out your beef and we wrap it for you) been in business for 30 years next year and we serve Tri-Tip too. People love our Tri-Tip too along with our brisket! Yum, yum, yum 😋❤️
We live in Southeast TX and no tri-tip to be found. Fell in love with it on a trip to Cali. Visiting our daughter in West TX this month, where's your store? I feel a side trip coming on.
@@mskden Hi, I’m so sorry, I’ve tried three different times to tell you our website and the name of our business. We are in SE New Mexico, 4 or 5 miles from the West Texas border. We are a retail meat market, we’ve been in business next year for 30 years. We started in 1994. We are about two hours from Lubbock, 1 1/2 hour from Midland/Odessa. Kendall’s Kountry Meat Market. I hope this one goes through. Please be safe and thank you for looking us up. 🙏🏻❤️
How did you get through desserts, my second hand anxiety was off the charts! Great video!
We politely let her know we were finishing up but just wanted to try a plate of dessert
Lol me too.
Wow, I was shocked that they asked you to leave. You’re paying a lot of money and it’s not as though you’re piling your plates, high and eating too much. I would choose to spend my money elsewhere as an hour and a half is not enough time. Thank you for letting us join you for brunch. You guys do such a great job on your reviews.
It's not like they didn't know before they went. They were specifically told 90 minutes so there would be no "I would choose to spend my money elsewhere as an hour and a half is not enough time" bs.
They were told to leave because they were weren't eating 90% of the food.
remember, they were probably there for a while since they were filming and not necessarily eating.
There's a time limit for a reason
Yeah, that pointing out and circling it is the time to leave was awkward. I never had that happen in a restaurant
5:15 Loco moco is a Hawaiian dish. Traditionally, it's served with gravy.
Thank you for the honest review. We booked there in two weeks. Was a toss up between here and the Wynn. My BF will love the meats.
Loved it. We were there the 3rd of August. Did not feel pressured by the time constraint. It was all so delicious. We chose it based on your review. Thank you.
Being rushed as much as you pay would piss me off! I love your videos and reviews
I love that buffet , but whenever I saw that 90 min time limit I had to pass . I agree it should be 2 hours . There so much on the buffet and I need time to try almost everything lol
5:40 Loco Moco is Hawaiian. Hawaii has a lot of Asian influence so not far off. Love your videos.
I’m glad Ruby liked it! That cute little dish would be even cuter with a baby scoop of Mac salad.
I went to the original breakfast buffet in December 2019; the chefs at the various stations were excited for you to try their creations, and they were excellent.
This is the only location that has actual hash browns, and the pastries are excellent.
holy cow!! they first show the meat section and they cook was cutting that giant rib and my first thought was, that's gotta be the Flintstone's meal.
I never been to Las Vegas. I'm here in Florida. Watching this is as close as I can get.
For me, an hour and a half to eat brunch is like bacchanal telling you to just shovel food in your mouth and not relax and talk with your companions
I learned SO much from this review, perhaps more than all others you've done (this is the 2nd time I've watched it). I'll be there on the 16th but before crab leg time (no biggie, I don't like seafood). But I will be LOADING UP at the meat carving station (prime rib!) and sampling a fresh taco. And maybe a volcano roll. And an ube dessert, and...OMG just get me there!!
I did eat at bacchanal the first time they reopened since Covid. I like the unlimited lobster and crab legs and they even boil them hot for you upon request but we weren’t rushed then. The jonah crab there looked like stone crabs but it’s not and tasted pretty bland like eating paper lol. We were there like 2.5 hrs and the server was nice to ignore it… We tipped her very generously. Guess they are enforcing that 90 min rule now! Caesars properties aren’t very nice nor giving to customers anymore…. That’s why I switched to mlife now 😊 Penny pinch and everything cost extra. Check in early is free at mlife, free upgrade and they give us free water bottles upon checkin and they don’t nickel and dime us. And I’m not even vip anymore😅🎉. I am vip at Caesar but they give me nothing. The staffs and managers looks miserable now since they’re owned by the Indians. They’ve even told us how miserable they are (yea the manager told us their miserable since the new ownership). They are all extremely micromanage and can’t give anything away for free or they get in trouble. That’s why they give customers so much push backs! I couldn’t even a late check out of noon few days ago I went. It was a slow week day! They gave me up to 11:30 AM max 😢 but I stayed at mlife side and they give me till 3 PM but I’m not even vip with them. 🤷♀️ Restaurants has more offers and there’s happy hours too on the mlife side.
I loved your review of Bacchanal. You’re right, there are so many food stations it’s near impossible to sample them all. And a great observation, it’s impossible to keep everything rotated on the items that may not be as popular. I also found myself getting “turned around”, looking for the certain food stations and then getting back to my table! Will be back in September for the-Raiders home opener.
A sensational video…
I love listening to you & your distributions ❤your the best , I sure will go there thank you
Binging all these vids before my august vegas visit! Thanks for these. will subscribe.
I ate there based on your older video of this place....its the best buffet ever! I was so blown away!!
Very informative! Ive never heard of this place but it looks can't miss!
There could be a video category for buffets and food halls just like dead malls, it is great to see an active, lively buffet like this full of food and people and nice interior design theme, but it reminded me of places I've been like college or technology company campus tours and the food areas aren't always operating at full blast and they look a little or a lot more basic aesthetically
Loco moco is a Hawaiian dish. It is cool to see it here on the mainland
We went to Bacchanal for dinner back in May and it was just as good as I remembered it from a few years ago. 90 minutes was more than enough time to eat our share and then some.
I think because they were filming, honestly it was a bad look for them to come up to her while filming.
Went to Vegas and went to the Bacchanal, Best Eats. The crab was delicious and there were so many choices. I am planning to go again when I go to Vegas. So many choices that you can't try all of them in one sitting. Love your channel.
Fantastic Ruby Buffet taste test I’m hungry and I’m going next Vegas visit
My favorite buffet of all time. Thanks for the video, Love all your videos
Love the video and review. Thank you for always going a great job. Can’t wait for my Vegas trip in three weeks!! Woot woot.
I would have an issue with the 90 minute thing, I mean don't they want people to ENJOY the food not get heartburn from rushing?
We were completely stuffed after 90 minutes….I couldn’t imagine even more time there.
They are kicking out the breakfast crowd to cram it full of the people who actually paid for the crab legs. They might also not like that she’s taking so much food. Whoever is making these decisions feels they can afford a negative review. And maybe they can, with the captive audience.
@@alisonfraser8231he amount she is taking is for two people (she and Mr. Ruby share everything) so I doubt it’s that. I’ve heard recently from other RUclipsrs and reviewers that enforcing the 90 minutes is becoming very common, so maybe it’s just a new policy to actually enforce the time limit.
65$ is the sweet spot when it comes to buffets for me, anything higher than that it better be the best quality with no time limit…. Granted 90 minutes is more than enough but like others I want to enjoy the food, not gorge myself on a clock.
We go out to the buffet with our Daughter, her boyfriend and the Granddaughters and we go 1/2 hour before the Dinner prices kick in. We have to wait for the carved meats and the steaks, but buy coming 1/2 hour early, we skip alot of the crowds and the long lines at the cashiers. We save enough to pay for our gas there and back or pay for the tip!!!
We just made our reservation...this video is right on time. Thanks!
Thank you for showing previews before selections.
Great review, very direct and detailed.
Two of our faves when we were there in May were the Ube Horchata and that Ube chiffon dessert - yum!!!
Love these reviews, I dont know if the time thing has always been there fror things like this in Vegas, but here in the U.K. the time limit came in during Covid because of area/numbers restrictions and they just havent changed back, some places in London you only get 45 minutes to get orderred and eat..... I'd eat there for sure! 👏👍👌✌🤘🖖🤙🍻
Miss Ruby, you make an excellent food critic 😊
I've been watching a fair amount of youtube videos on Las Vegas and you are one of my favorites. Not too cutesy or loud but thoughtful and straight forward. Thank you and kudos. You are kinda cute though. Not trying to be forward. Keep up good work!
I'm new to your channel and am really enjoying your buffet videos, making me hungry!! I haven't been back to Vegas since '96...big brother Jim and I used to go for the NBA finals, the buffets have definitely changed! Jim goes back all the time and loved the Bacchanal buffet. Too bad they rushed you through your meal!
Nothing like Steam Crabs with Old Bay .. Food server over looking at that price
I love your reviews of the restaurants . 8 love watching them
Hey Ruby! Another great buffet video. Really appreciate them since I’m a local here now. You do a great job! PS -your nails have been looking great! I’m ready for Bacchanal!
90 mins is ample time- for food that you don't have to order! I will certainly be back- the Spanish bar food was incredible!
Fab video as always, I love the buffet, it's the only one we go to, thanks Ruby for a great review ❤😊
Loco Moco is Hawaiian BTW. Thanks for another great video!
i had that beef patty quail egg thing when i was there last year. Loved it
LOVE, Love, love your nail polish!!!!
The 90 min limit and the strict enforcement is such a turn off isn't it? Totally understand they need to have a time limit as a rule to enforce when there are really inconsiderate people hanging around, but they should extend it to at least 2 hour limit and be more chill with the enforcement and only use it for people who are really excessively staying. Just my thought. I'm sure they have enough space and money from their numerous streams of income as a gaming company.
I agree ! That was rude !
Agree. Turn off for sure.
It that a teamwork? What Ruby just picked up even half through the video is already more than I can handle.
I like this place slightly more than Wynn’s buffet. So much variety
The food looked good, but for the service? I'm not sure I would want to go. I'm a slow eater and prefer to take my time to enjoy my food. I would hate being told to rush in any way. The hunt for the best buffet goes on!
Bacchanal is the best buffet in Vegas and probably the best in the world! Well worth the price!
My husband and I were planning to go there on our next visit, however, that time pressure is changing my mind. I'm in a wheelchair so it takes me awhile just to get my food and get situated. Plus, if I'm having to wait in line then the time restraints scare me. I figured the timing was just to keep people from camping out all day but it sounds like the are really enforcing it. Due to that fact, I think I'm going to have to pass no matter how good the food is . . . I mean if I can't enjoy it then what's the point.
I agree. I have the same situation - it would take me half that time just to maneuver to the buffet and back! I'll pass.
They will accommodate for that and allow extra time. About 30 minutes or so. They can also have someone walk with you and help get items from the buffet for you if you find it will take long. My father has RA really bad and needs to use a mobility chair.
The weekend brunch buffets have long lines so plan accordingly if you visit the other high quality ones- Bellagio, Wynn, Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan.
I love the plantains. I usually opt to eat several plates of plantains instead of dessert. Next time I come, will head in at 12:30. Lol! Thanks for the tip!
Good job guys ! Thanks for that !!
Team Ruby for the win!! Next best thing to being there is a Team Ruby review!
dang i love dungeons crab legs but preferred warm steamed crab.. wish they would steam those as well
You pay $65, and they only give you 90 minutes??? Ridiculous. Ruby...you had me with that mac and cheese!
Another excellent review, Ruby and with their myriad of choices, I would be tempted to try it. However, when they treat guests as you were treated regarding the time limit, I will never darken their door. That practice is totally unacceptable, especially for the prices they ask these days!
I did a search and didn’t see anything come up but if you have t yet I would love to see some videos on spa/salon’s in the area, especially and that might be inside the resorts on the strip.
Loco Moco is Hawaiian! My gf was stationed there for a few years & it was her favorite hangover cure lmfao
amazing work!!! wow. awesome review
Is 20% tip mandatory here? Is it true they charge you that even before you enter? Can you choose how much and when you tip?
Ruby! We are staying at Ceasars in 2 weeks. Definitely gonna try the buffet 😋
Thanks Ruby!!!
I am a slow eater, they circled your time, then tell you that you have to leave. Never.... I hate this place.
