Hoping to buy one soon. What would be the festival discount. The brochure still says the top model costs about 19 lacs on road. I think if get it around 15-16 L I will purchase one soon.

I got a quote of 15.3 Alpha AT. You can negotiate further. You don’t miss a whole lot with the lower trim AT too. 13.5 perhaps. Am buying one. If your occupants are going be above 5ft5in then I recommend extending the rear seat by a few inches. The under thigh support is pathetic. Won’t be comfortable beyond the city

@@amargshukla Thank you, sir, for the info. I have been told to wait for a few days to know the October offer. If I get it around 15.30 L, I will take it. May be lower AT version if I am not missing much. Any (necessary) additional accessories required to be fitted?

@@kaypeeyesI may go for the AT tyres but not beyond 215. Larger will tighten your steering which is already tight on the stock. A carrier later since I do have a waterproof bag which I regularly use on my Thar CRDE. My purpose for buying the Jimny is to replace my 11 yr micra which is a city car. Since I did not find any good small car with a good gearbox in the small car segment I feel the Jimny is worth more than any of the sub 4 meters. My list had 3 contenders: 3XO (drawback is you seat low and the window line is quite high), Altroz DCA (again quite a good car but seats low - for parents) and finally came close to buying the Kiger (can’t quite fault it) but Jimny is such a value for being a city car plus the offroad capability is a steal. It gives me the option of replacing my CRDE some day and I don’t have to think 4x4 at that point… in an another 3-4 years down the line. My CRDE is 10 yrs old today.
