We had some in our backyard but didn’t know till the dogs found them luckily they are soft mouthed and the bunnies were getting pretty old so most of them could leave one of the ones decided to stay for 3 extra days after all the others left do you think they survived? Edit: most of you are saying they probably did survive 😊 thank you for answering my question!
I think they did cause some take more time to mature it's normal but if it gets hunted down by crow or any other animal there's nothing you could do about it so stay positive I am sure it's fine !!!!😀
Thanks for not taking them and trying to raise them yourself, people don't know that unlike Birds if you interact with the bunnies or accidentally mess with the nest the mom will still come back for them and the mom actually spends most of the day looking for food so the babies are alone most of the time but that doesn't mean that the mom abandoned them. I used to work on a farm and this one older lady said she found some bunnies in the A-frame and we told her to leave them alone but she said the mom wouldn't come back for them and so she took the babies and tried to raise them on her own but of course they died about 3 days later.

@@alexisrubi8714 I'm not sure. I thought at first that the bigger bunny on the bottom was the mama, but now that I look again, I think that was just a baby bunny. Maybe the mama is scavenging for food for them.

We had bunnies in our backyard. We didn’t have dogs then, luckily. But when we checked in on them we realized there was no sign of the mother for over five days (we live really close to a high way, maybe five minutes walking) and so we took them in and kept them in a warm box out on our covered patio in case the mother came back. She never did and they two of the three of them left on their own. One of them wouldn’t leave so we ended up making a house for it and we still have the bunny. She has since given birth to her own bunnies, we try not to get close to them because they should still be wild and we only feed them if they really have to be fed or during really bad winters. My dogs now ignore them. Btw we have had vets come to our house to check if it’s fine, and landlords.
My friend found a bunny at the park and she took one and other people did too. I think the mom died of stress or something but her bunny didnt live for long. May her bunny rest in peace
NEVER take a bunny from its nest, mama bunnies only visit twice a day so you won’t see mama with babies in there nest. 99 percent of the time they aren’t orphaned until humans interfere 😔 (I know you meant no harm in what you did, just putting the info out there ❤️)
bunny is the literally the cutest thing I've ever seen I never never seen a bunny give birth that would be so adorable just to see a bunch of little cute little bunny babies that would be the the adorablest thing ever cuz I never really seen any any animals born but that would be super, I might come on why won't you just let a person watch somebody give birth and that would be right not to move the bunnies because then something will probably happen to the bunnies and they'll die quicker so good job girl cuz you know what you're doing girlfriend okay you are pretty and your daughter is the cutest little monkey can ever I have a cute sister but sometimes she she's a little boss and sassy, but I still love my sister anyways so if you get this girlfriend you're the best okay you are pretty talented and you probably seen a bunch of animals give birth to babies.
I don't think you want to know but here is how a rabbit gives birth: the male inserts it's penis inside the female rabbit's vagina and releases his sperm, the sperm travels to a egg cell and fertilizes it, next soon they are shot out of the female rabbit, next the male rabbit mauls and consumes the baby rabbits to have sex again, and so is life. You won't think about rabbits the same anymore. Also the female will eat her babies if she is stressed, hungry, or just feels like murdering something
Found some rabbits next to my house. I was the one who found them. A few days later I walked outside and all of them were soaked from the rain and had ants covering them and in their eyes. Man I was like 10 at the time that scared me so bad like the ants were eating their eyes their eyes were gone.
Once my dad mowed over bunny’s that were super tiny, we were about 5 and we needed 1 hand to hold them but they had full but thin fur and all 3 of them survived for the about 2-3 months we kept them- so I’m not sure if we got lucky or something-
In my after care in the playground baby bunny's lived in one of the playground and nobody could go in for weeks but they grew up that where so cute!!!!
I accidentally smashed a nest and put one on a swing to see if anything would happen, next there was nothing but bones and ants crawling out of it's eye sockets. I was 5 so I didn't know about death yet
Yeah one time a class from 4th grade went outside but our class didn't the class outside was playing in some of the kids found a robin's nest which is a state bird they took the Robin's nest eggs and smash them on the ground while they were still fertilized and had baby birds in them (IF YOU BREAK A STATE BIRD EGGS O R KILL A STATE BIRD YOU CAN GO TO JALL)
