I think if you put anti-air inside and put anti-tank outside you might’ve been able to hold
In the other defenses, he placed anti-tanks infront of the AA guns. Still didn't work.
AA is still good against infantry which the tans had.
I think it would have not much difference

Also I think if you let the front fail and only focus on your side of the wall, you can build up at first a defensive pocket in the back, to then a full push forward
