THIS MUSICAL IS SERIOUSLY SO IMPORTANT FOR ALL US QUEER BLACK MEN. The entire cast recording is amazing, but Memory Song especially gives me chills! I'm glad this show will live on through this recording, and hopefully get more productions all over!
I can't get over how much I love this score. Everyone's work on it, Michael R. Jackson's Music, Lyrics, and Vocal Arrangements, Charlie Rosen's orchestrations, the entire cast's performances, it's all so fantastic.
This album has had such a profound effect on me. So many emotions, so many connections, and so much brilliance. All around. I am truly inspired on every level. I'm so grateful for Michael R. Jackson creating this incredible masterpiece! Wow, Wow, Wow! I'm sad I didn't come to this album sooner!

Periodically is so good but so damn sad esp at the end. It has such a sweet melody but then the lyrics man. And the precious little dream holy fuck
This musical. Can not even explain what seeing this was like. The music, staging, cast...it's nothing like you've seen before. I was blown away.
Agree 100%! Saw it last week...it was a remarkable, profoundly moving experience.
Amazing! It also a great album for any LGBTQI+ folks! Its honesty is heartbreaking.

I have already seen this brilliant show 3 times in previews on Broadway. Why is Larry Owens not in it anymore? Please go see this show, for me it's life changing!
Think he went to LA for work during the pandemic and scheduling didn’t work out.
