I would like to see Akai make step by step videos for using a midi controller with the MPC X to control soft synths in the computer and hardware connected to the midi ports.. have not seen this yet.. thanks
Would be great to see some realtime multi tracking and assigning the audio tracks to pads and demonstrate how to turn on and off the loops. And PLEASE show how well the X can be used as a controller for the 2.0 software. Can't wait to hear and see this machine in action!

Already own a drum pad controller and Ableton can't justify spending the money for a MPC. If I win the lotto Im getting one for sure along with a few classic hardware synths.

WOW, BIG MPC FAN ,in love allready, i have just got the MPC Live after a long wate, i am also a owner of the MPC4000(my baby) and MPC studio , but due to ten years of hammering away on the 4000 and traveling with it constantly for a decade i have caused to much damage its just short of been repareable so i had to switch up, (MPCStudio) and as my computer runs slow and i am useless on them i have no use for my studio no more,im a standalone guy, the 4000 was my life, so i bought the Live as i travel but i have just had a cash injection (loan,im not rich) so im thinking of swapping for the MPC X or keeping both as the Live is rad for how Live it can be....my only problem is where i am moving to in africa the electricity allways shuts down, A LOT!!, running the Live is great for this as the battery holds for hours!!! but ive been told on forums the X has a short amount of battery life incase of blackouts or accidental power offs, 1. IS THIS TRUE???...and 2.(this is important) is the foot switch inputs(as i am wanting to use effect pedals) for guitar pedal use as i want to use the talkbox on the samples and get creative, also other effects (i knw the footswitch has allways been about but ive never used it), am i right in thinking this is for the likes of effect pedals???....If you could answer these 2 questions it would be a great help in my decision process (although im really digging the concept of the 2 synced anyway, WOW what a machine, anyway be great to here a reply), thanks
hi I just got my MPC X in July 2019 - great love it / also just got a new laptop for Xmas so I decided to register & download the software 2.7.0 .. I was unable to get it to work maybe because of my lack of understanding software, which is why I got the X for the stand alone PERIOD!. so I tried to switch it back but there is no sounds you can see the meters playing but no sound is this fixable? is this a malfunction or an simple adjustment? please help

Hi! Thanks for watching! The speakers are an older pair of the Akai RPM500. All included software for the MPC X will be available in your Akai Pro account after the MPC X is registered. There's no time limit. The software will be available in your account whenever you're ready to use it!
