I wish it was recorded in a studio rather than live but it gives a connection feeling to fans with the audience singing along and it's the perfect eat to end the record..
There's a string that's slightly out of tune every now and then.
Which part is that? That's just how the string sounds when It's tuned down.

This song reminds me of the time my boyfriend ditched a party to stay home with me. We were in our lazy clothes coloring and made out to this song, it was cute. He recently passed away last month and now this song means so much more to me..."life is too short to last long" which is true. This is probably the best thing Blink has released in a long time. Simply because it doesn't feel like some studio head tweaked the shit out of it with a computer. Most of the new stuff is very overproduced. I hope in the future the band goes for a more real sound or at least changes producers.
the real version is much better though

I love this version. The original is great too but this works so well as acoustic. Also in this version you can hear how different Mark and Matt's voices are and they work well together. It the original they sounded similar.

Why is it that blink 182 even 15 years later still speaks to my own life like they were there with me? Man, I love this band. These guys got me to teach myself drums which led to guitar, which led to piano, etc. Blink 182 will forever be my main source of musical and general life inspiration.
And this folks, is why Matt is in the band. He can sing live. And he's awesome.

Now we all remember that moment when, last year, we heard Skiba's version of blink for the first time, blasting "Bored to Death" in our ears and enjoying the begining of summer. Now, this acoustic version comes and ends this wonderful journey in California. The circle is complete. Tom is missed, no doubt about it, but I love the Blink I see now, they knew how to spontaneously build their story with us.

This isnt natural, it has a lot of pitch correction, basic song structure, generic melodies, lyrics and structures.
they should hire Rick Rubin. he's a good producer. or they should produce it by themselves just like Neighborhoods

It's astonishing the power of music, I used to listen to this band 25/8 and to the point where I lost the connection with the music. Then I decided to quit listening to it, obvious choice. However I'm now realizing the second that happened, is when I let the negative influence actually control me and I proceeded to die inside. I put this album on and im healed.
