I think it was recorded when Matt just joined the band so Mark was instilling confidence in Matt.
But I’m proud of Matt’s singing, especially with the new material.

Because that song would be difficult to pull off live. It's very over produced and has strings and other shit they wouldn't be able to replicate live.

Compared to other recent live performances yes this is good. Compared to any other bands it's shit. Most bands sound fantastic in an acoustic setting due to singing so softly. Even tom sounds fucking amazing live while playing acoustically. Much better then these two do. Not to mention their recent live performances are horrendous. Marks voice is gone. Matt is tone def. together it's horrible noise. Don't get me wrong, I love punk music. I love blink. They just get worse live as they get older and Matt didn't help he can't sing. Saying any different is just being ignorant.
If tom rejoined and matt stayed, blink 182 would have the possibility to make some amazing music and acoustics to follow. Just a high thought 🤪
I've been pondering that idea for a long time. If Tom joined AND Matt stayed. I love how Mark and Matt's voice can harmonize well and play off each other. Tom does add some stark contrast to Mark and Matt's vocals. I've been listening to blink for 20+ years now and every album they release I like more then the previous one. Nine is by far my favorite. I think Matt Skiba is one of the few who could've joined and I would've still been ok calling them blink 182. I liked some of Alkaline's songs when I was younger, especially radio (which was promptly turned off in the car the first time I put it on after a weird look from my dad). Matt really fits in with blink well. I know Tom is way different now and I think he just had so many goals and didn't want to wait until he was grey haired to go after them. Imagine blink with a lead and rythym guitar. Two singers who can harmonize very well if need be and a big contrasting vocal in Tom (as well as style). I think if they gave the idea a chance and sat down and really tried to see if all four could write music together and what it would sound like and go for it we could see something amazing. It would really break the dynamic of blink having in this scenario three singers and a lead + rythym for the first time to go along with it. I think it'd fucking rock but that's just me and I could be wrong. I'll keep loving their music like I have been. It's like their music grew up as I did so it's always stayed really relevant for me.

I never realized how similar Matt and Mark looked until this video. Hahaha. They have very similar brow bones, foreheads, chins, cheek bones, noses -- and it's hilarious to me. Mark's hair is dark, with glasses (visible frames) and then Matt is like blonde, with sunglasses. They're done opposite -- yin and yang. x"D
The only thing thats really different is their eyes. Otherwise I agree haha

I like this cuz Matt gets to sing more and sounds good 😎👌 alot of the live concerts I seen, they bury his voice, play Tom's bocal track or he was sick. Matt has a great voice and I loved him in blink as well as trio 👏
