I almost bought the 850 instead of my 500. Went with the 500 because it had a back up pull starter in case the battery died. Been a great machine for me.

@Z-Bart the 500 is a bulletproof motor. The power of an 850 is a lot of fun though.

@@CKPowersports Yeah. That twin is probably quite a bit smoother running.

I have an 850 with 7500 miles and I’m changing all the A-arm bushings and wheel bearings right now.
They are warn mainly from lack of maintenance! Make sure you grease these regularly! Not super expensive but it is a time consuming fix.

I just got the same machine with 265 miles for 3K. It had bad gas & mice had chewed the air filter. I bought a 2024 Scrambler 850, so I'm selling it & a 2023 Arctic Cat Tracker 600 to pay for it.

@@AndrewZebrunIII nice. That's definitely a good deal on it.

Nice video on how those transmissions work. Any chance we will see a video on how to fix a grizzly 550 that won’t start after installing a new 4 wheel drive actuator? 😊

@@teweller I did actually figure that one out. It ended up being the ecu for some reason. Luckily, I could steel some parts off a viking to confirm it.

It's quite possible. This thing spent its whole life on a feed lot and that is really hard on stuff
