@@juggert I mean, if Neil Gaiman feels comfortable about doing more Good Omens, considering that Terry Pratchett wouldn't be around to co-direct and write, then I would at least like a Christmas Special.
Yes! When I first saw it shared on fb I thought that's what the whole "Staged" was about! And although I enjoyed the actual show, I'd have loved to see more stuff like this one!
Michael: handsome costume and blends in with the stony hearth in the background like a charm (like the angelic bugger he is) David: wearing something out of a carnaval's store discount rack with gleaming kitchen in the back. (chaotic demon boi style) Yup. Love em. xD
I was getting into them being Shakespeare and Marlowe having a real conversation; that seemed like a taunt Marlowe would make to Shakespeare, but Christopher Marlowe didn't get old enough to have grey hair. I sorta had that in my mind too.
Could not stop laughing. Those two are incredible together- likely platonic soulmates. Also, did anyone chuckle at the bobby pin holding David’s hair back (which looks awesome long)?
As a theatre person, surrounded by others who decided it was a good idea to do this as adults, I can verify that we just randomly wear costumes for no reason. Possibly *why* we chose this career path?
As soon as I see these two together, I start helplessly laughing and do not stop until they stop talking. Good comedy is SO rare, and these guys are the real deal.
Man, my "I enjoy Elizabethan Theater" brain now REALLY wants to see this version of Marlowe and Shakespeare finding out about the Authorship Question (particularly the conspiracy theory that Marlowe wrote Shakespeare's plays).
Shakespeare: It'll take a miracle to get anyone to come see Hamlet! Marlowe: All right I'll do it my treat! Shakespeare: Really? 🙃 Marlowe: Still prefer the funny ones
We would pay to see these. Brilliant pair. So beautiful. How they got Sir Palin to say with a straight face (he didn’t but you have to watch the mouth movement) that the Pythans stuck to the script. A beautiful man.
@@Lumibear. Yes, like in the show. I wasn't sure if you were referencing the show or not but couldn't see anything jokey so.... That wiggle shows Michael's playfulness and these two are so good together.

While good it is time specific to the ridiculous situation of this past 12 months. And it won't work too well now we are getting back to normal. Mind you back to normal will reduce my social life as I have had a more active social agenda during lockdown. So going out of lockdown will increase loneliness for many as idiots return to pubs etc. And I have never even started to worry about the virus as I am a teacher.
Honestly I'm really happy I've been able to get to see David Tennant playing himself on screen in Staged. People see him as "doctor who" and "crowley" and not as who he actually is. And who he actually is, is a genius lunatic manchild 🙃 Same goes for Michael Sheen
