Did you wind up usingthe other screws too ? Im looking at getting a rail panel kit for my Ecc and wanted to know if the screws that are on there in the middle ( flat rail part where the panels would go) are just easy to remove without and problems and then you can use the OG nuts on it again ?
Yeah. The screws go right into the holes on the sides of the rail. Without the need for the square nuts. The square nuts are only required for the holes on the bottom.
@@harisarif I only did mine quarter turn. They have some factory stuff on them. I've put maybe 900 rounds through it and they haven't come loose. I removed the KAC rail panels from my SR15. I don't like them
@@MaverickTangent Perfect thank you sir ! I just want a set of rail covers eventually for the ECC just to save the Taupe on it and also help cut down on the heat some ....
You can buy KSC Sand Cutter and E2 Bolts now brother. I would go all out on her if your trying to be as Clone correct as possible. Plus the KAC Trigger Guard...You already have the gas block which is a HUGE part
Well, the problem is, I got about $2200 in this guy. And the more I spend, the closer I get to the cost of an ACTUAL Knights gun. I've seen some older ones sell under $3000. I would have less than $2k but I broke a bolt and had to replace it.
Maverick Tangent yeah I saw your ammo test after you sheared the lugs. That sucks.... I get trying to be as close while staying away from the price range... hope it all turned out well. You should upload an updated video with how you’ve got her set up now, really interested in hearing how it’s been shooting and see the set-up you stuck with.
Not to shit on anyone's parade but the M110 has only ever used the double picatinny rail gas block. That's just a standard SR25 gas block in the video.
Okay cool, maybe I’ll contact them directly and see if they can hook me up. I’ve got a “clone” already but it has an Aero upper with the forward assist and the wrong DPMS rear profile. Thanks for the super fast response!
@@MaverickTangent hey sorry for asking again but a cmmg mk3 upper do you think that this would fit i am asking kuz the mk3 upper looks much more close than the aero
I couldn't even imagine getting one of these for $380 these days lol
@christiandruan yeah. No doubt. They haven't been made in years. And if I sold it I could never afford to replace it

@@MaverickTangent perfect thank you sir! Also one more question, did you fond out any specific torque value for the nuts ? Or hand tight works?

Where did you find the Troy .308 receiver set?
Troy had a sale on blems fall of 2017. Stag makes a set thats close but their uppers have forward assists.

Who made the barrel you’re using though??
What did you end up doing with the handguards?
The URX3 rail? It's still on the rifle
Still have the barrel wrench from Charlie's CC?
