Tbh, I love this type of content. The videos that you've been producing since 3 years ago feels like a video essay. You're more of Art + Tech like Nerdwriter and other video/film analysis youtubers out there. This is art at it's finest.

    • @slidebean
      @slidebean  3 месяца назад +6

Nerdwriter was probably one of the first RUclips names I remember. I’ve binged watched all his videos, so probably no coincidence if you find similarities.
It does feel amazing to be in the same sentence as one of my role model channels.

I work as a consultant for companies looking to pitch new ideas to boards, investors, etc. So, I still use your early startup slide videos as a great starting point for all my clients since I found y'all in 2018. I find myself rewatching them at least every other month. But the content you are creating now brings me back weekly/daily. I love deep-diving businesses and learning how they function. Even as my life gets more and more chaotic and I find less time for RUclips, I keep returning to slidebean videos. I am always a month or two behind, but I hope you make more videos like this!

please keep doing this type of content, your format is much more enjoyable and approachable than many other channels, and your warm personality and the fun explanations of the animations really do it.
I think this really showcases the storytelling ability of the company to someone who wants slidebean's pitch deck skills, as a perfect companion. and you show how much you can turn information into a story, while being very aware of the startup and tech scene and its underbelly.

Hi, what i like about that channel is the detail informations in your content, although i can see the tech influence of that channel but sometimes it goes on tangent to talk about social issues, and the cherry on top is that, from time to time you often speak about your family in your content which to me humanize the channel, people can relate.

Congratulations for 500k Caya and Team. Amazing work with such insightful videos. Love this channel and i can totally relate to the fact that we sometimes unintendedly become a content creator/RUclipsrs even though our primary business is something else. That name thingy is so relatable when people see a content creator on street, they don't remember the creator name rather a company name. Which i guess is fine as it means brand awareness. Anyway, i hope your other team continue working on updating the software as well (as we love to use it for our media kit and report presentations). I can see you doing really well in the tech, productivity and content creator knowledge. I think that is where you can pitch your product (slidebean) to content creators too. They can use it for creating media kit from their website or may be get payment from customers directly inside your platform. I think i need to shut up now and do some work myself. Well i wish your team all the best. Keep rocking with amazing content as always. Much love and wishes from the land down under.

I started watching your series from company forensics. I've been in tech and business for a little over 10 years, both on the startup side and the large corporation side. I find this content extremely educational both in understanding my own industry and the parts of my industry that I'm not involved in. I'm not a founder, but would like to own and run my own company one day. This content continues to be educational and informative.
Tech nomad and millennials decoded are also extremely impactful in understanding the world that we live in and why people might think or feel the way they do. I've actually shared those videos with my wife (who is more of a creative entrepreneur and less of a tech person) and she has enjoyed them as well.
Thanks for the years of content, and hopefully this helps you and the team decide what to do next

The span of topics in the company forensics videos were always a joy - I think you guys have gotten the format of the storytelling just right. Ha! This makes me glad for finally making this video. We did (finally) understand that most of you in this community are not Slidebean-Product customers, so there's no real point in pushing that too you. If you discover it organically, great.
As an entrepreneur, a RUclips channel is a superpower: access to a free audience to launch new products. When we have a new product to launch, we will; but in the meantime- it's just about making the audience even bigger.

The clarity of your communication puts you ahead of must. The editing style, not overdoing but still keeping it catchy, is engaging and the topics you choose are overall of interest to me. Am at a point I'll watch whatever you put out because I know it will be good. Even if it's a topic I've heard 100 times, I would still click because I know the perspective will be fresh. (Good luck if you decide to give your take on the Apple Vision Pro).
I particularly like the Company Forensics series; but any explainer video is a must for me. Your take on deconstructing what's around us and what moves the world makes clear the impact on our generation. I wish more solutions would be implemented...

Start-up CEO here - I have been watching your channel for quite some time. Your content is helpful, informative without BS, and entertaining to draw me in (nearly) every time. The company forensics series was amazing.
I think you showed the sheer complexity of putting out good content, you have a full team of video editors, content creators, designers, and videographers to develop your videos. If you are a start-up company, I guess you need to budget a serious amount of cash to create even somehow acceptable videos.
It's a trade-off, but I think RUclips has changed since you started your channel. Maybe it's just the wrong platform to start out in 2024?

Yes, we love your content. You're literally the only Saas startup I know that uses RUclips for marketing, but goes hard like a pro RUclipsr. So startup founders are analysing you to see if being a RUclipsr is a viable option to market their startup. That's why these videos are important.

My partner and I have been subscribers since around 2020 and your videos helped us build our businesses. It's funny because now the startup tips videos are less relevant and the content you create now is exactly what I'm after - so the transition has worked perfectly. Caya you're one of my favourite youtube personalities, keep it up!

I have learned so much from you over the years and I'm mainly here for startup related education. Although on the other hand, your documentaries are engaging and informative. Love the new style but I'd be sad to lose the great startup explainers. So I guess I have to subscribe to the other one as well. 😊

I think I started watching this channel in the Company Forensics era. I've always been interested in stories of how businesses go wrong or go right, though I have no real involvement in business myself.
I love how well-made and informative your videos are, and I love how honest and unpretentious Caya is in his presentation. Those three points will keep me subscribed as I see what direction(s) you take the channel in next.

There is overlap between that and the business mode content you have released tho. I like hearing about the team cos like most people, everybody wants to learn about how to succeed in content. I would like to hear more about business decisions, your way of thinking etc. it’s rare to have a ceo make content like yours so I try and take notes 😊

I start watching this channel mainly on Startup/Company Forensics since I am always fascinated about what happened to failed companies and startups.
However, I always love the startup-related contents, which helps me a lot as I am planning to incorporate my startup on early Q3 of this year (and, yes, I use the financial model from you for projecting my startup, as well!)
I found your videos truly useful (and also in the new channel) for myself and my (future) venture, which, currently, sit right around the ideation and pre-seed stage. And, I would like to congrats on surpassing 500K subscribers.

I remember he started to do greater things like documentaries and participating in series like Netflix... but the video "Captains of spaceship earth" is still one of the best short videos (before the era of short videos) I've seen.

Hey Caya, I think this has been an excellent inflection point where you and your creative team have ended up creating a RUclips business on the back of a tech business.
And as a consequence of being authentic about the lifecycle since the beginning, your community has grown as you and the team have evolved as well.
To you personally, I think you should recognise that what was extrinsic value in the beginning, has changed to an intrinsic value where you’ve formed a passion for creating content independent of the Slidebean business.
    I hope this helps.
