Cool to meet y'all. I realize what you meamt when you asked how the truck feels when I sat in it. My Bug (with the big block Caddy) is the same way in that the seats are set back about 1.5 feet from stock. The B pillar is right in your side view but it wasn't unusual for me because my Bug is the same way.

rashaddow I’ve been to two of the three so far, so I’ve seen most of them. I missed the last one but made the first two and am planning to go in February if that’s when it is
@@andycocchia4202 in always spring break week in march. I personally wouldn't miss this one. Cletus and itsjusta6 and kyle(1320) by themselves have sold out track events. Combined will be crazy. The weather is always the deciding factors for the race. If you have been you already know how wild the streets are.

There is no such things as the perfect tr----waaaaaaatt? AWD, twin turbo, light weight, and streetable. Now I will find myself looking at every S-10 sitting on the side of the road and day dreaming about building something this. Awesome job guys.

When I was racing it was mandatory incase the throttle spring comes off and you are wide open. It allows for the driver to raise his toes up and pull the throttle back to idle. That was before drive by wire but ......

It must feel so fulfilling to finally drive it after doing so much work. It was awesome to be able to see it in person. Along with Uncle Sam. I wish was able to get there earlier to take advantage of the vip ticket.

Nice. I have my own shop and have worked on many S-10's. Did a V-8 conversion in a 2000 Blazer 2 Dr. I drive a '99 4x4 that I threw together and bought a '94 4x4 with an early vortec. It had thrown a rod and could not find one with the factory throttle body. Picked up a '99 block not consider that though the original vortec had the balance shaft, heads were different as were the pan and timing cover. Couldn't find a metal pan to fit the '99 block so I modified the aluminum because the slave cylinder wouldn't bolt on, put the '94 heads and intake on the '99 block. The '94 had the metal timing cover that I liked but it also had 2 extra mounting bolts not cast into the '99 block so I modified the metal one to fit the '99 block. Almost completed but the winter hit early and hard.
I work alone and keep busy just paying the bills. 5 years ago I fell 65' and broke 107 bones. 26 screws, 2 rods and 2 plates, they told me I wouldn't work again. 3 weeks in a coma. I couldn't live on SS, I was back to work in 5 months. Videos like yours encourage me keep working through the pain every day. I'm building a waste oil heater tonight because my other heat went down. It just dump a foot of snow and rents due Sunday.

Same kinda setup
Same basic setup, Twin Turbo LS engine.
Its still amazing the way it sounds considering the truck is a 5.3L and leroy is a 7.0L thats a big difference in displacement for how similar they sound.

Mi ck What center diff. It’s not a Subaru
All road driven four wheel drive vehicles have center diffs unless the have free wheeling hubs. Look it up.
bob bobo it’s a transfer case with an internal differential between. The front and rear output shafts.
You can get transfers with or without the center diff.
An example of this is My 100 series land cruiser has no center diff as it is part time four wheel drive. It has free wheeling hubs to isolate the front drive shaft.
My parents 100 series is full time four wheel drive and has a center diff. In a four wheel drive like this you can lift any one wheel off the ground and only it will spin. All the other wheels loose drive.
This is what is happening when Jeremy launches the S10. There’s less weight in the back so the drive all goes to the back. Usually you would only see the front spin in this situation. There just be some bias in the center diff to send a majority of drive to the rear.
Be careful with that thing! Kinda reminded me of the Hurst Hairy Olds!
