Jeremy, I don't know how you found your crew but the way you work together is amazing. You have a lot of talent backing you up. Give those guys a pat on the back from all of us that love your videos.......
The 4x4 switch has a magnetic release that has to be disengaged b4 the motor on it will turn.. take the thing apart and you'll understand it😎👌 its called an encoder motor & they are not completely water proof which is why I've replaced 100+ of em in my career
They purchased a NP120/ NV120 TrailBlazer SS T-Case... that has NO selection for 2wd or 4wd... It is full time AWD (electronically controlled 2wd/ 4wd). Poor choice...
Yup, I twisted my v8 swapped 87 2D s10 blazer all to shit in much the same fashion... even cracked the filler all up in the welded metal plated rear windows (right after being painted) LOL ........ Live and learn I did. It was a 2wd and carried the front wheels so can't wait to see if they can keep this 4wd together.... I think a aftermarket divorced transfer case might be in their future but I have been wrong far to many times in the past to say for sure. lol
My thoughts exactly, if they're already twisting crossmembers it wont be long until the rest of that frame follows. Probably not 25° twisted but it'll be dog tracking for sure
I was there for this! I'm off camera. It took like 20 mins to get it turned around to get it on the dyno, poor Georgie! But man this truck is loud! If you come to see it bring ear plugs! That's my truck next to Jeremy's wife's caddy! It was so cold that night! But great bunch of guys, and I had a blast being there for this.
One thing that both you and Cleetus accomplish by showing everything is that no matter what you do, parts will break when racing. I don't think people who don't race understand just how many things break. It's something I have always liked about both your channels.
WwoooOOOooowW!!! That little motor with that set-up fooled us all!!! Twisting frame members, my goodness, lol. Your wife is such a trooper & so supportive! Between your family & crew consisting of the wisdom from Laz all these years, along with the abilities & passion from George..........you are truly BLESSED Jeremy! Awesome video!
Hats off to you guys and the build it is a monster. And especially hats off the Jeremy's wife. It is really good to hear a wife that actively supports her man's passion of horsepower and automotive.
Really excited about this truck guys. Awesome work. I love the square body S-10. Growing up, my dad had one with a old school 307 bored .040 over and when I was 17 we threw one together. Had a “H.O.” 305 first and then a mildly built 350. Ended up throwing a 8.8 Rearend in it and 4-linked it with coil overs. Had big plans for that little truck, built a 383 Stroker with multi-port EFI for it. Should’ve been right around 475-500 whp but it just never actually happened. Got married and was in the military and he ended up selling the truck and I sold the stroker. THIS makes me want to build another. I love the awd concept. Keep it up guys
I’ve been following this build from the start and I i have to say, that truck has turned into something truly amazing! That power figure is nuts and those results show you really know what you are doing! Anyways I can’t wait to see this thing compete and as always happy wrenching!
I really don't see a stock transfer case EVER standing up to this kind of power. That engine is making some serious steam. Just need to keep Dr. Spray Em All away from it.
Ron Jones theres a few stock cases people are putting down turbo LS power through, if it spins the tires with every launch whatever they use should do fine
Yes it will, but they are still testing it, and have to work the bugs out first then make huge power other wise you throw your money in the trash. Get it right and strong first then go for power and make it do what you want other wise your working backwards all the time. These guys know what will happen if they just send it to the moon it won't last. On top of just fixing on it more and more. Its a very good idea to test first b4 you put your life on the line and just send it when you are making that much power. Jeremy is a smart guy and knows what happens when you just say go for it without testing it first. Yes its taking a lot of time and everyone wants to see what it can do, but you have to remember he has kids and safety comes first, so please be patient its coming soon my friend. I've worked on performance cars with big power and they car hurt you if you don't take your time. Its that he's making sure that everything is right and tight b4 the full send happens.
@@crazyd1377 you are so right my dude its always really smart to think like that. I hope they can figure everything out before they actually rip it on the strip. It could be the one little thing that could break and it might cost a life. You just never know safety should always be number 1. You won't realize until it's too late. You will tell people and they won't listen and they will make the same mistake. Thank god Jeremy is actually responsible and smart when it comes to high power builds like that. (Except the smart car😂😂)
With you all professing your inexperience building something like this I am blown away with how fast you have built this large of a project. Congratulations!
Looks like Cleetus and the gang moving out. No banners up , most cars gone. Well you two guys are blowing up and that's such a tight space for two huge channels. Awesome video!
Loving this build Jeremy! I’m building a twin turbo AWD 63 Falcon with same AwD S10 chassis. Building it on my channel SE speed Shop. Your build has been helping me so much along the way. It’s not easy to do AWD LS builds. I now see that I need to beef up the rear end supports as well, lol. So glad the truck is making great power. That thing is a beast!
Looks like a great time to redesign that third link and raise it up higher. Possibly on top of the frame where it starts to drop down. Maybe that would keep any driveshaft contact from happening in the future. Love the builds and the videos, keep it up, you all are killing it!
I love it!! But instead of "Make some Torque" for the cheer it should just be 3-2-1- "TORQUE!!". LOL. Such a treat to have people like you guys doing your thing and letting the rest of us come along for the ride on the youtubes. Don't despair guys it was much better to have this fix realized now than later at 190 mph. So I say God is looking out for you!
Thanks for the Video..... When you start bending up the original cross members....you know your making big power....Congratulations....Damn lucky it happened in testing....best place for it.....I cannot wait to see all four tires smoking.....
Use 2"x3" between the rails angled on each end and front ladder bar brackets for the heim end. Get it as close to the bed floor as possible and it will give you more room on top of the driveshaft (where you had to cut the ends off to clearance). Triangulate it with a 1-5/8" bar on each side. Bulletproof!
Can't beat that power for only 8lbs of boost. Can't wait to see it make the power and put it to the ground. But just a little more time and that thing will be amazing! Good luck guys.
damn i love this truck. when you do the electric power steering get a zq8 steering box, faster ration and bolts into a 1st gen. i have one in my 84 and love it
shoffman75 it pained me so much to hear them suggesting to use another stock cross member and “beef it up” when it would come out cleaner, stronger, and done quicker just making a full tube one from scratch
I'm with knowbull5hit... ditch the stock crossmember; and really I have no say, putting the third link directly above the driveshaft does not seem to be a good idea.
Yeah all that hard work and they want to rig it. Not hating I just think they need to talk to someone that specializes in the suspension setup they are running.
What about tying the pumpkin mount with two bars right to the frame? Single point mount to two mounts on frame. It would keep clear of your driveshaft and help keeping your rear end centred in the truck.
Just looking at the angle it twisted wouldn’t it have been the rapid deceleration that turned it like that?? If it was acceleration that twisted it wouldn’t it have twisted the pinion angle down instead of up like that??
amazing power as usual George and lance built an awesome machine..cant wait to see it do a awd burnout..love your videos truck is gonna be strait nasty at the track
Make power. Gonna launch it hard. Get strong at axels def etc. Ford 9" etc. I love this build. I am wanting to see it rip. Bad ass drive shaft. Beefy beefy stuff💪💪
Take a note from the air bagged custom truck scene. Use a trianglated 3 link set up. Take your top link from the center of the rearend and go out to both sides to the front. Get rid of that crossbrack thats twisted(hang on wall) and build one. Yall got the talent there. How much power loss with front end pullin thou? Any all wheel drive dynos out there?
Looks like the leaf spring perches on the housing are crushed too. The stock perches which is where your lower bars are mounted are just a thin piece of c-channel welded to the housing and when you make real power they fold into themselves.
Sooo much time and effort was going to pay off for sure! Congrats guys, this is a sick machine with great potential, thread carefully and stay safe please!
The real factor played a big part in this video. Finally some real, smart, fun, ordinary people making good video content. I just happened on to this channel, prolly through youtube's algorithmeee thingeees🤸♂️🤸♂️🤸♂️🤸♂️
Dude this thing all tuned up and on all four with 20 pounds of boost will give Leroy and Ruby a run for their money! Provided you don't blow up the transfer case, drive shafts, diff and axles immediately of course. I think you should have someone machine you billet cases for the diff and transfer case, much better chance of them holding up long term... Keep it up this looks like an absolute winner!
For electric power steering, the Mercedes A class pump is one of the best I’ve found. Make sure it’s the 3 wire, and not the later 4 wire. You’ll have to order from over seas though. The cars weren’t available in North America.

Hell yea ole Frank definitely going to be a ripper lol great job guys and gal yall put alot of hard work into that truck glad to see it paying off. Hey broken parts like that means ur puttin down some power💪💪💪
As you prob already know. Most full frame vehicularmobobs making this kinda power have the inside of the frame plated right there just for that reason. There are some ridiculous forces right there where the rear end mounts. Hope you guys get it squared and back on the dyno. That thing is epic!!!
Awesome effort! Once you get the crossmember replaced and solid, lucky (with roadkill) advocates securing steel pucks between the cab and bed when you are making good torque.. Js Something to think about.
Looks like is spun the center section on the rear end up because the axle tubes aren't welded on those diffs, my buddies NOS small block did that on his second gen camaro
I'm glad to see you guys slowed down a little bit on that thing. It was amazing you got so much done in so little time. That truck is gonna be sick. Well it is sick. Are you going to no-prep, street or strip race it or all of the above?
My buddy works at Detroit speed and Engineering where the Hoonigan truck was built. Great truck! But the S dime is more realistic, and dont forget those Golden's! Great work guys!
If that transfer case starts snapping chains go with a circle pattern np205 or adapt a figure 8 pattern one from an old square body or obs chevy there gear driven, its what I use in my off-roader 1980 k20. I'm working on adapting a 4l80e 2wd to a gen 1 small block and a figure 8 pattern np205 since all those parts are super common in the junkyards and dirt cheap.
Love your truck!! My 2011 stock motor 5.0 coyote with 67mm twin turbos, puts out 853whp on 13psi. It's amazing what these newer motors are able to do these days lol
guys research the NP205, No chain to break, gear to gear, select 2wheel drive or 4wheel drive. In 2 wheel drive the front does not drive at all. in 4 wheel drive power is split 50/50 front to rear. All cast iron all gear to gear no chain. It is the best transfer case out.
That's pretty freaking amazing !! great job guys those are some killer numbers that's truck is gonna be a beast !!! Can't wait to see it making solid track pulls !!

'so much torque the chassis twisted coming off the line'. The proof is in the pudding. Make it, break it, build it stronger until it doesn't break
My favorite channel on the tube hands down! Great work gentlemen!
guys research the NP205, No chain to break, gear to gear, select 2wheel drive or 4wheel drive. In 2 wheel drive the front does not drive at all. in 4 wheel drive power is split 50/50 front to rear. All cast iron all gear to gear no chain. It is the best transfer case out.
Might have to take her to the boostedboiz to get on the awd dino
I really enjoy watching you guys wrench on this awesome machine !
That's pretty freaking amazing !! great job guys those are some killer numbers that's truck is gonna be a beast !!! Can't wait to see it making solid track pulls !!
The axle tubes need some flat plate welding to the tubes so the two lower links bars can be bolted up solid to the axle....great vid b6 the way
If you want hydraulic steering look into the 2018 and up express van brackets. They have hydroboost brakes and hydro power steering on an l83
